It certainly isn't for everyone! Essentially this miniature is my homage to one of my favorite pieces of art from when I was a kid. It is an add if anyone doesn't want it they aren't going to be forced to buy it. The entire kickstarter is like that. There will be pledge levels for single miniatures. Nothing I dislike more than a Kickstarter that forces you to pledge at a high level and you end up with some miniatures you don't want.

Well we did it. It was a long month I'm not going to lie. Some ups and downs and the 16k lull did have me worried! But at the end of the day it got done and $31,000 is pretty amazing. I have a lot of people to thank but I want to start with the backers. Without you none of this would be possible so from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for the support over the last month. It means a lot to me.

Now there are two people I want to specifically thank. Justin and Mike have both been a great help over the last month. Justin for snazzing up the graphics and making things a lot better looking around here. Mike you all know better as Mortal Arrow for his suggestions as well as his support. Both of these guys are stand up individuals and I wish them the best of luck in all their future endeavors.

I think we can look back at what we have done here with some pride. This started out as a chance to get about 8 miniatures into production and turned into 37 miniatures being added to Fractured Dimensions when everything is said and done (and this is not counting the KS exclusives). So overall really awesome.

So in the short term I am going to get an excel spreadsheet out to everyone that you can play around with to determine what you want to do with your points / dollars. I think this is the easiest way for everyone to finally decide what they want to get. You can all expect this in 2-3 weeks. The medium term will be all about getting everything sculpted and mailed out to you. I also pledge to put out an update every Friday to let you know exactly where things stand. So you can expect an update at least once a week until this project has been completed.

I know some people are a little disappointed that Mephistopheles didn't get unlocked but I think you will be happy to know that he will eventually get sculpted and be heavily involved in the next KS project. Before anyone gets excited that is a long way off and I haven't done anything other than noodle it over a little bit. There is still a lot of work to do on this project and I don't expect to be able to run another KS for at least a year. Right now what I am thinking is that in preparation for that I will get the following miniatures sculpted up next year some time:

Mephistopheles
Bone Devil I
Horned Devil I
Frost Devil I
Imp
Babau

I think that will be a solid line up for another KS when this one is finished off.

Well it has been a pretty busy day so I am going to head to bed. Thanks again for your support and dedication to this project. It has been a humbling experience.

Project Update #67: Type V Demon Finished

Paul finished the Type V Demon today. I think this might have been one of his least favorite to do so far...... anything with multiple arms can be a real pain in the ass. The great thing about these is that the lower snake torso is a separate piece so it can serve as a basis for further miniatures (Yuan-ti, Greek style Gorgons, and Giant Snakes of one kind or another).

Lots of variations possible with these. Essentially 7 different arm variations (3 left, 3 right, and the spear) with the ability to put the single weapon arms in any of their respective sockets. So the 3 left arms can go in any of the 3 three slots on the left side of the body and the 3 right arms can go in any of the 3 three slots on the right side of the body.

Below is the first variant torso and head.

Belial is coming along. Belial will also come with a second arm that is holding a wand and 2 shield options. You can also see some of the work on the Bodakk head though it is not finished.

I thought some finished pictures of Belial would be nice.......

Obviously he has been changed from his concept sketch and given a completely different look and some weapon options. He has options for two different shields, holding a spellbook, javelin, and wand. I decided to go for more of a warrior necromancer look. Originally I wanted most of the greater devils to have a classical Greek look to them but frankly I found the original concept a little boring and wanted something more than a devil dressed as a hoplite. This turned into a devil based on a celtic chieftain and given some magical items and a cloak made from flayed skin.

Bael is almost finished and hopefully some clearer pictures for you guys later this week. I am really liking what Paul cooked up here. As usual let me know what you think.

Just a quick update to let everyone know the current situation.

Right now Paul should be finished with Baphomet this weekend, possibly even tomorrow. After that we have Asmodeus, Baalzebulb, the Stink Cow, and the Bearded Devils to finish. I am going to have him do the three Bearded Devils next and most likely Asmodeus though I am still thinking about Baalzebulb.

I should have masters finished of most of the models in the next 2-3 weeks so that should put us in a good position to have production molds finished by the end of May / Early June. Once that is done we can start shipping stuff to everyone.

Here are some pictures of Baphomet completely finished. Off the top of my head as I write this I believe he stands about 56mm tall. Hope everyone likes him.

I hope everyone is doing well. I am recovering from a nasty stomach bug that had me down and out for about five days. But on to more interesting things. Paul sent me some pictures of the first bearded devil no Friday.

They have been reimagined a bit from the concept art. I was thinking that the heavily armored plate armor didn't really fit in with the rest of the devils so I thought this would look more interesting and a little more true to the inspiration.

A quick picture of the mostly finished Bearded Devils. Hopefully Asmodeus will be finished by the end of week. If I get some work in progress pics before that I will post them up!

It has been a while since I put up an update about the time schedule to get this all finished. I should have the remaining sculpts (minus Baalzebulb and the Cow) in the next week or two. Once that is done sculpts will be sent to the mold maker to have the masters made and then we will go right into production. I am expecting to start shipping in around a month and a half.

There are still some possibilities for delays as the process continues. You guys have been really patient and I appreciate that. Hopefully we are looking at the end of the line coming up!

Got some questions from the previous update I thought would be best to answer through another update!

1. Baalzebulb and the Cow will indeed get done they just aren't going to be done before the end of this week. They also are both so large that they will have their own production mold so there is no need to wait for them to be finished before starting the process of getting production molds made.

2. A couple of people have asked about adding stuff to their order. No problem at all. Just send me an updated excel document (if you need another one just let me know) and I will send you a paypal invoice.

Project Update #94: Where we are currently
Apologies for going so long in between updates. I will be posting a large number of updates tonight instead of 1 overly large one. Due to GenCon requirements the mold maker was completely booked but we are back on track and master and production molds should be done in the next 2-3 weeks.

I have finished pictures of both Asmodeus and Baalzebulb (see next two updates). I also have pictures of masters for some of the miniatures which will again be in another update that will be posted tonight.

************* Big News on the Kickstarter Only Miniatures *****************

Due to money and time constraints I have decided to go with the Sandy Garrity sculpts (pictures out tonight in the last update of the night). It simply was not feasible to get all new sculpts and it would probably take another 3 months minimum to get them sculpted and produced and to be honest this project has dragged on longer than expected as it is.

Project Update #96: Finished Asmodeus
And finally the finished Asmodeus. He has become a more complex model with the addition of hand options. He can have his staff or a mace in his right hand (as well as the mace attached to the chain on the left side of his body if you don't want him holding it) and he has the three options for his left hand: empty, flame, and book.

#98 Master moulds finished

Hello everyone, got the good news last night that all of the master molds, with the exception of The Great Beast, Stink Cow, and the wings for Orcus. They have been shipped to me by the manufacturer and I should have them by the end of the week. Hopefully, will have pictures up of the physical product this weekend.

I have asked the manufacturer to start on the production molds and should have more information in the next couple of days on a more concrete time frame for completion.

Some pictures of the finished Stink Cow. He comes with two heads, one is the stink cow head with a little grimace and the other is a realistic buffalo head. So you can actually use this guy as a real correctly sized buffalo if you are into Cowboy games.

Roughly 38mm tall and 70mm long.

Picture 1 and 2 have the "stink cow" head while picture 3 has the realistic head.

I got the masters in on Friday and have been assembling and basing them. I will hopefully have some pictures up tomorrow! I will do pictures with a rule so you can get an idea of absolute size and I will also try and get some pictures next to some well known miniatures to give you an idea of relative size. I was considering using a space marine but will probably go with a Reaper miniature.

Pictures of the finished Stink Cow. Ended up being very large. He comes with two head options, one for the Stink Cow variation and another you can use as an American Bison (aka Buffalo) if you are into the Wild West.

I don't usually do this kind of thing and I am / was a little hesitant to even touch on another Kickstarter project / company, but some of the backers are starting to question my friends intentions so I think it is appropriate at this time to speak up and support someone I know as a good and honest man.

As some of you know there have been some pretty serious issues with the three Center Stage Miniatures kickstarters. While I do not know all of the specifics things look pretty bad right now. My understanding is that the current management will not be able to fulfill their obligations with concern to their backers. Enough said about that I think.

Enter, Mortal Arrow, to try and buy up the greens and offer what he considers to be a fair path forward. Now I am not going to offer my opinion on his plan, I am not a backer and it will be up to the backers to decide if his plan has merit or not. What I do want to talk about is the man himself. I have known Mike, yes his name is Mike and he is certainly not Matt, for about a year and a half now. I met him through this Kickstarter. I have to admit I was reluctant to meet someone who I met over the Internet.... thoughts of being kidnapped and having bad things happen to me where in the front and back of my mind. Regardless, I met him and we instantly hit it off.

I have had the pleasure of spending time with Mikes family and he has been gracious enough to have my family over to his house. He is a passionate old school gamer and miniature enthusiast. More importantly he also runs his own business, non-gaming related. I can't guarantee that Mike will be successful running a miniature company but I can tell you that he is an experienced businessman as well as a good man. Other than that I will let each and every backer make up their own mind. Hopefully, this update can at least lay to rest anyones misgivings about Mortal Arrow.

Been a while since I posted a state of the Kickstarter. Things are chugging along and I finally have confirmation that the production molds should be finished this week. Once this is done we can start getting the final product made and in my hands. Looks like the end is getting closer. Thanks for the support and the patience!

Talked to the manufacturer today and the production molds are completed (and maybe more importantly the way some other kickstarters have gone recently, fully paid for), with the exception of the Orcus wings, The Great Beast, and the Stink cow. They will start casting tomorrow and he believes that an initial run of miniatures will be shipped to me on Tuesday. So hopefully I will have some pictures to send you of a bunch of miniatures in little plastic bags by the end of next week.

I am a one man operation who has a full time job and am also the primary care provider for my three year old daughter so fulfillment will not be the fastest thing in the world. I ask for one last bit of patience, you have been amazing up to this point by the way! It is looking like everyone will have their miniatures before Christmas at this point.

Heard from valiant miniatures yesterday that the first run of production miniatures is done (this should cover everyone who turned in their finalized orders before November). They will be getting the bases added today and it should be shipped off late today or tomorrow. Usually takes 2-3 days to get a package from them so I will have them in hand by the end of this week or early next week.

Just a quick update: I am about halfway done with pictures of all of the miniatures. I have been trying to get shots of all the angles for the larger miniatures so you can get a good idea of what the miniatures looks like. ASMODEUS
Stand roughly 63mm tall to the top of his head. He has two right arm variants, staff and mace, as well as three left arm variants, holding the book, open handed, and with flame. The book is a separate piece and can be fitted onto the empty hand. His cloak is fur lined with the skin of a giant wolf or hell hound over it.





BAALZEBULB
This guy stands roughly 56mm tall. As the Lord of Flies I thought it would be appropriate to make him somewhat reminiscent of a fly while still staying true to the original source material.






BAEL
One of the smaller named devils coming in at only 38mm tall.


BAPHOMET
Another one standing roughly 56mm tall. The source art has him naked but I thought he would look significantly more brutal if he has some tattered armor on.




BAR-LGURA
Standing roughly 28mm tall.


BELIAL
Belial stands roughly 47mm tall. He has three different left arm variants: the first holds a spellbook, the second is a shield with a spear in hand, and the last is a second shield variation holding a wand in hand. You will notice the odd sword on the third variant which is a simple hand conversion from the Type III Demon.

I changed his concept significantly before Paul sculpted him. I didn't mind the hoplite version but it didn't really have an evil vibe to it and really looked too much like a poor Asmodeus. I sort of reconceived him as an evil mage / experimental surgeon who was thrown out of the upper planes for some pretty disturbing experiments.






BODAKK
33mm tall and comes with two head variations as well as a hammer head that you can use in place of his axe head.




CAMBION LORD
Stands roughly 38mm tall.


HANDMAIDEN
Roughly 35mm tall.


ZHOUBLEXX
About 42mm tall. He comes with 4 vomit pieces even though I only have 1 attached to him right now.


KOSCHEI THE DEATHLESS
One of my favorites, standing roughly 50mm tall.




ORCUS
He ended up being roughly 73mm tall.






PAZUZU
Stands roughly 35mm tall.
