The Armies of Armageddon: Minotaur test models @ 2014/05/29 02:13:49

So with all the new codex and model goodness going around I decided to jump in with a few armies. I'm theming each one on a unit from the 3rd Armageddon War. IG/AM, Orks, and probably Blood Angels. I plan to write some background on each army to fill it out a bit. Anyway, here is the first installment. I'm going for a Catachan Jungle Fighters mechanized company. A little unorthodox for light infantry, but the tanks are cool. The colors are very basic because I plan to weather the tanks. Haven't decided on basing yet.

In the early days of the 3rd War for Armageddon, the 19th Catachan was deployed in the Equatorial Jungle which seperated Armageddon Segundus for Armageddon Prime. The primary mission of the 19th was to maintain control of Minos Bridge, which was the main route over the large Minos River. The area is not as densley vegetated as one may expect due to the incident at Wolf Output several years earlier. The base was nearly overun by Feral Orks and the commander detonated the generator. The resulting explosion destroyed everything for 40 miles. To this day there are several wide avenues of approach Thraka's Orks could use to attack the bridge. If that position falls, the two continents would be seperated and the Orks could destroy the defenses of each in turn. Given this reality, the commander of the 19th sent several of his mechanized companies to act as heavy pickets. The mission of these units is to destroy, through any means, whatever advanced Ork parties they encounter. Thus denying a foothold in the open areas and preventing a large scale assault on the bridge. The 10th Company was selected as one of these picket units and happily deployed forward.

Im basing the background on stuff I found in Lexicanum.

@Chaplin Cy- Thanks, I think I will base them in ruins. Kinda depends on what i decide to do with terrain. I am kicking around the idea of building a base for them. I planned to do that once before but didnt.

@Paradigm- Thank you sir and thanks for stopping by. Its nice to be back in the saddle.

Quick update. Once these guys are done I'll have 2 plasma vet squads and one melta. These are a lot better to paint if you attach the arms last. The Kan in the back may give you an idea of the direction the Orks are going. No base, of course. Haven't decided what they will have but it will be different than the others.

Good to see more Catachan! I've been having a lot of fun with jungle bases on my Cats - just a few aquarium plants and bits of clump foliage scattered around brown bases with some static grass can look real good.

The Kan also looks great! Very nice scheme.

The Armies of Armageddon: Minotaur test models @ 2014/06/02 02:10:19

Post by: 40kFSU

@Pekel- Thanks man, your Catachans are great. I'm glad you like the Kan, not a lot of camo Orks out there.

And the melta vets are done. I decided to use all the running legs in one squad just to give some character. Second squad of plasma vets are nearing ready too. After that I may start the Orks. Or do some armor.

Ok so the Killa Kan mob is built and ready for paint. This army is going to be very shooty, very shooty indeed. And dead 'ard. So, with the Kans are a few Nobz. There will be many of these guys. You can see the camo on the one guy, only vehicles, Nobz, and possibly 'ard Boyz get camo. It's a status thing. The Kommandur is very particular about such things. After all, it gives the lads something to strive for. Or an excuse to beat up somebody and take theirs.

I'm diggin the dual armies. I like the camo, the paint and the fluff. I thought only HQ orks got the big bases.

The Armies of Armageddon: Minotaur test models @ 2014/06/03 08:44:34

Post by: Paradigm

That last squad of Catachans looks great, and the Orks are coming along nicely. I like the idea of putting the 40mm bases for the Nobz, makes them feel like they're equal to termies (they're not, bless 'em, but they try their best).

Big choppas are pretty brutal, especially if you end up in a protracted combat, as with just choppas, you're wounding MEQ on a 3+ on the charge and a 4+ afterwards, with the BC it's a straight 2+ the whole time.

The Armies of Armageddon: Minotaur test models @ 2014/06/06 01:18:53

Post by: 40kFSU

@Paradigm- thanks and agreed. Those awesome giant Nobz deserve bigger bases. I expect to put the new flash Gitz on 40's as well. Just too much model for a small base.

@The Good Green- Thanks man, glad you like them and thanks for stopping by. I'm hoping the camo will look right on all the big Ork vehicles.

@zachwho- thanks man.

As for y'all's comments about game play, I actually don't know how to play I just like to build and paint. So I'll take your word on it!

Ok, 3rd vet squad. I think I'll cool it on IG infantry a while and finish up my vehicles. Also a sentinel WIP. Love the sentinel models, I have 3.

@Paradigm- Thank you sir, a little Killer Kan action up for you

@Overlord Thrakka- Thank you and I will!

@Noodles- Thanks for stopping by sir, always a pleasure.

The Kans are finished. I really need to work out the bases for the armies. Anyway, you can kinda get an idea what I hope the camo will look like. Kind of a night fighting scheme. Kunning, very kunning.

[i]There are many notorious Blood Axe Warbands. Each, to one degree or another, hone their particular brand of Ork Taktiks and low kunning. However few manage to rise to the level of the Strika Brigade and their military genius of a leader, a mysterious warboss known only as the Kommandur. The Kommandur's genius seems to be in convincing other Orks to behave in decidedly unorky behavior. Even by Blood Axe standards. For example, he has actually organized his warband into Kompaneez. Each self sufficient and fully equipped to handle any kind of mission. And they try to accomplish the missions! Not just bash stuff. Of course, the Kommandur's forces benefit greatly from evil the mastermind of Ork technology who has attached himself to the Brigade. Organized, very well equipped, and well led, the Strika Brigade is a nightmare for any opponent.[i]

@Paradigm- Thanks, I've never done bases like these. I'm not really sure what they should look like. Time will tell.

@Nevelon- You have a point. I don't intend a display board but do intend some terrain pieces to tie things together. If it doesn't work out it will be easy enough to rebate.

On that note, here is the Catachan contingent to date. I have one more Russ and a well armed platoon to build before deciding on my next buy. Maybe one of those new Hydras.....

After several days of careful movement, the veteran squads of 10th Company came across an abandoned position which was once part of the Wolf Output defense network. It was just large enough to accommodate the company and perfectly located. The position was obviously designed to overwatch an old road system or avenue of approach. Whichever it was ended with the death of Wolf Output. Though what it guarded was gone, the terrain was still there and the post commanded it well. The veteran sergeants realized the value of the abandoned post and called 10th Company to quickly occupy. As the Armageddon sun set, the flag bearing the Imperial Aquilla once again was raised over the lonely outpost.

Thanks panda. I'm going for an olive drab, easy on the drab. I was planning on weathering these tanks, but maybe not. This is the first time I put wash in the recesses of a tank. I think it looks pretty good as is. Any thoughts anyone? Anyway, first 2 Russ's are done. Except the weapons of course. Hopefully by Sunday.

I got a pretty healthy supply drop. A new hydra, 2 Leman Russ, and a Catachan Battleforce. Also have some sniper bits. Going to make 3 snipers and 3 spotters. They can "count as" ratlings. The actual models creep me out. Also decided to do all vet squads. I always build the same boring army so this one will be different. Also way low on infantry, I figure this one will be 75-80. I usually do well over 100.

Also I decided I am unhappy with the Orks. I'm trying something outside the box. Still trying to work out how to paint the Orks themselves. Will do some weathering and such. But for now here it is. Any opinions would be appreciated.

I liked what you had before better.

It’s a little too close to your guard. As they are being done in tandem as opposing forces, I’d like to see a more striking distinction between them. If you darken them up a bit, or just weather the tar out of them, it might work to make them stand apart better.

Right now, not a whole lot about that paint job says “Ork” to me. While well executed, it lacks that certain panache that the greenskins apply to their work. It looks like an imperial paintjob on on ork vehicle.

I agree with Nev, you want something dark and that contrasts with the Catachans. It does look good, but not enough contrast with the IG.

The Armies of Armageddon: Minotaur test models @ 2014/06/26 20:54:30

Post by: 40kFSU

@Upstanding Stallion- Thanks man, it's just practice and lots of simple green.

@Nevlon and Paradigm- I see your point gents. I was hoping for a regimented Blood Axe Ork army. So you need camo and unusual schemes. This doesn't quite cut it, does look too hummie. Back to the drawing board. Although if I go Goff Nlack it needs some more work I think. Anyway, thanks for the input.

The Armies of Armageddon: Minotaur test models @ 2014/06/26 22:48:10

What you could do is use what you have as a base, and put a pattern like you had on with a dark green. This will give you the camo, but keep things different.

Just a thought...

Thanks panda. Hoping to have the Kans finished this weekend. Ditto the first mob. Here are the test guys. Pretty happy with them. The brownish mess on the base is supposed to be ash. They look really good. The only thing that came to mind when I looked at them were the very clean Choppas. In my humble opinion they should be rusty or have some wear on them. Otherwise, great test figs.

@Dinamarth- Hey man, thanks for taking a look. I considered dirtying up the weapons but I figure Orks would at least take care of those.

Thanks gents, I appreciate the comments.

So I finished the Missile Launcher squad and platoon command squad. Gave those guys Flamers in case something needs burning. I decided to stick with the platoon idea instead of all vets. I have too many heavy weapons not to take advantage. As far as I'm concerned, the platoon is just there so I can field as many as possible. Looking at 5 missile launchers, 3 Autocannon and 3 Lascannon so far. I'll post better pics when they are based.

@panda- thanks man. I wanted the boots to look like that rich brown leather you see on the WW2 guys.

@Dinamarth- actually, Straken will be in this army. He is pretty cool.

@noodles- Thanks noodles, I have a pile of Ork stuff waiting patiently behind the catachans. As patiently as orks can wait at any rate.

So, almost done with the last of the catachans. The weapon squads can switch out auto cannon or las cannon. Soon it's gonna be all tanks all the time.

Looking good! Nice to hear Straken will be included too. Ever thought of adding an Ogryn retinue for him? Their new models look fun and they'd tie in with the look of the Catachans pretty well.

What's your plan with the Orks? What do you have hiding in your Mekshop?!

The Armies of Armageddon: Minotaur test models @ 2014/07/13 16:30:49

Not sure if I am doing Ogryns. They would come in useful for close combat. I am doing Taurox instead of Chimera. Don't really care for the model but I've done about 50 chimera so far and would enjoy doing a new kit.

As for the mek shop I have a jet, 2 battle wagons, and 10 nobz waiting for some attention. Oh yeah, and a Stompa. Good times.

In the meantime, Catachan bodies are done. Time to work out the weapons.

So I decided to go with the Wyvern. I think the model looks good, but it's kinda flimsy. I haven't attached the crew yet because I need to catachanise them somehow. As for the infantry I am pretty close to completing the platoon. Once that happens ill base them all and post some proper pictures.

Yeah, that's what I've been reading in the forums. Of course, you know I don't know how to play so I guess they are right. I may have a way to exchange the weapons and have this guy also be a Hydra. I haven't actually worked on him, been finishing the infantry.

The Armies of Armageddon: Minotaur test models @ 2014/07/20 23:34:33

Post by: 40kFSU

The game holds great interest for me. Being an old infantryman, I would like to see if real world tactics would work in 40k. I know it's a totally fabricated combat system, but wonder if certain principles would hold up. Unfortunately I just don't have the time. Maybe one day.

The Armies of Armageddon: Minotaur test models @ 2014/07/21 08:35:25

Post by: Paradigm

Fair enough. A few sort of 'real life' principles apply, things like force concentration, denying flanks, area control ect, so I think you'd enjoy it. I'd say mechanically, it's rather abstract, but tactically there are a lot of IRL principles that apply. Do give it a go if/when you have time, it'll be fun and these awesome minis would get to see the battlefield

The Armies of Armageddon: Minotaur test models @ 2014/07/24 09:20:40

Post by: cormadepanda

Nice boots on the ground. You will find the more abstract tactical concepts of large warfare apply directly to 40k. If you know how to use your big guns, and your small guns right the game becomes much harder.

Thanks for the comments gents. These armies aren't going as quickly as I had hoped. Good news is I am almost done with the infantry. Well, I was until I went and got 30 more Catachans. Oh well. Also about ready to start 3 Leman Russ. I have worked out how to build my scratch built aegis defense line too. That should look cool. Anyway.....

Another small update. Most of the infantry is complete, just needs basing. Once I'm done I'll post all of it properly. It's 2 platoons and 3 vet squads. Plus some extras. Also I'm about half way done with the wyvern. Still have to repair flimsy turret.

40KFSU, nice work! Too bad you don't play, do you have the rules, or codice? Just curious.

I think the best way to play is with some old pals, easy, no rush, a few beers, cigars. Good times. I moved away from where my friends were, old Army buddies, me, I'm an old Grunt too, in our groupd there were three helocopter/CAV Scout Pilots, one was KIA OEF, the other two retired, and a few others in the mix, mostly all combat arms. Yeah the Wrydavine leaves some to be desired, but its simplicity is also neat. You should pick up a game 40k. It is actually fun when playing with good chumps.

If you want there is a program Vassel that runs a 40k simulation from a top down. We can play together sometime.

@panda- that would be cool, thing is finding the time.

In the meantime, a quick infantry update. I hope to have the other 50 finished in about a week. I'll post units then. I may put grass tufts on the bases to finish them off.

How about a heavy weapon squad with interchangeable Lascannon/Autocannon? The gunner is a little back from the Autocannon, but it is worth the flexibility. Also got a couple missile launchers and what not.

@paradigm- thanks man. Finally feel like I am getting something done.

So, my greatest ever ebay rescue attempt. There was at least 4 coats of paint, countless bits of what not glued to these guys, and bad construction. After a 2 week simple green bath and a file, we are ready. Still needs lots of bits, I have tons. Not sure how it will work out, but it should be fun trying!

Well gents, the rescue is coming along. I hope to have some WIPs in a few days. Some things I can fix, other no. I'll have to come up with another solution. In the meantime, the first infantry platoon and 2 Sentinels

10th Company was having enormous success with their hit and run tactics and ambushes. The Orks were unable to gain any ground and all recon missions had been destroyed. The 19th high command decided to reinforce the 10th with additional assets. The 34th support company was dispatched to join the 10th and assist with the operations.

In other, less manly regiments, support companies are used to resupply and administer the line companies. Not so for Catachans. Support Companies are experts at establishing fortifications and assisting front line units. They usually follow closely behind the main attack forces, establishing fire support and a quick flex force to assist wherever is necessary. The arrival of a support company signaled a larger role for the 10th in the war

So the first Leman Russ is finished. You can see some of the damage, especially the back. Forgot to mend that before I started painting. Since I decided to grow this army to 2 companies, the tanks will have markings. I haven't decided exactly what. It will be the standard IG stripes, I just don't know where. Once that is done and the transferrs are applied ill weather them.

You know panda, considering they just made a floating chariot drawn by 2 wolves, I would not be surprised if giant blinding radar detector tank is on the way.

So I attached the guns, they match up nicely. Here is the finished product.

Thanks noodles, I like the FW Hydra, but agree these guns look way better than the others. Also agree with your sentiment about the GW designers. I am all for themed marines. Romans, Greeks, vampires, Vikings, Crusaders, and whatever, but come on. A floating chariot with wolves pulling it? They need to start saying all their ideas slowly out loud before commiting to them.

And thank you paradigm, the rescue is working out so far!

In their defense, this is a Science Fiction game so anything goes really. I agree though it doesn't really fit our views of Grimdark though.

So, if one is interested, they can check out the ebay rescue before picture on page 3. Those guys soaked in simple green for nearly two weeks. They had at least 3 coats of paint. blue over green. And white over blue. Probably 10 coats of white. Also had tons of little bits all over them. Anyway, they were cleaned, repaired and ready for war. One of them got a new Leman Russ barrel so he can also be a Vanquisher. Im sure he is pleased. I wasn't able to get all the glue spots off or fix a couple damaged areas. May try with plasticard. Also plan to weather them and use the imperfections as a guide. Anyway, closer and closer to completion. I looking forward to being done so I can tackle the Knight.

Thanks Meph, they were some kind of fun to finish.

So here is the test tank for the company markings. I never liked the loud stripes down the side of the tanks. Didn't make any sense to me, why a tank crew would camo their vehicle only to paint bright lines all over the side. Never painted the markings before, this time I figured why not. I think it actually works. I'll go back and do the rest of the armor when this guy is done.

Thanks, Ustrello, I just like the way the cannon looks. I may try to fit something on the end to make it look more, something. I don't know.

Badass Knight! That scheme is a very cool one. However, I do think it could really do with either some freehand litanies/scripture or some battle damage on the large flat areas to break them up.

Then again, I say that about any area larger than a Marine's kneepad!

The Armies of Armageddon: Minotaur test models @ 2014/10/16 19:08:06

Post by: OneManNoodles

Very cool scheme, you certainly painted that up quicker than i'd have expected. Don't worry about the basing, looks really effective this way.

If you do another one, I'd stick to the same scheme and just add a few weathering effects, damage etc as paradigm suggests.

I always find doing large metallic surfaces a pain. Yours looks really nice!

Thanks guys, Im glad you like the Knight. While I agree some weathering would do him well, I just can't bring myself to do it. Ive got some hobby burn out going. I got a heavy weapon squad, a Valkyrie left, then Im gonna take a break.

As for whats done, the tanks! Thought I would post a pick of all the armor with the markings and such. I decided to use some of the empty storage things I have and make them into carrying cases. Its working out pretty well. I think I will be able to store the whole army like this.

Loving the knight, as to something to do for weathering, take some typhus corrosion and blot it onto some areas where you think it would appear and then use the rust technical paint to give it a rusty look. Thats what I do with all of my knights. Also the guard is looking good man

@Paradigm- thanks man!

@Greldinard- thanks for taking the time to look things over. Glad you like it.

So here are some WIPs, just need those bass done. Only 5 more Grey Hunters to go. Got the first 2 wolf scouts and the wolf priest as well. Obviously he is a kit bash, he is ok, but not as wolfy as I had hoped. Anyway.......

So when I first saw the Thunderwolves I thought they looked ridiculous. I went ahead and got the wolf lord with the mount and have changed my mind. Those things are awesome! Buying two more boxes. In the meantime I finished the first Razorback, still needs to be wolfified. I have bits from the dread and stormwolf trying to decide exactly how to decorate it.

Bases really make them pop, I'm glad you have the traditional SW grey scheme not the blue look they have now.

I think You can have another heavy weapon in the long fangs, I don't have a SW codex but iirc they can take 5 heavy weapons instead of the usual 4 (if that matters at all).

The razor looks a little plain, are you planning to do some more to it?

The Armies of Armageddon: Minotaur test models @ 2015/02/26 01:34:56

Post by: 40kFSU

@Noodles- the Razorback is a little bland. I plan to paint some pack markings and add various wolf bits from the dread and flier. I'm trying to divide it all up now. Figured it would be easier to paint individually. And yeah, Space Wolves are grey. I don't understand the whole baby blue thing.

Thank you sir.

In the meantime, have the second Razorback finished. I see in the pics some touch up work needs to be done. This is kind of an idea of how I will wolfify the vehicles. I still need the markings and more bling. Incidently, I made a rookie mistake on this tank. Didn't thin my paint enough, you can see its thick in a few places.

Nice scouts. I’ve alway had mixed feelings about painting scouts myself. For the most part I enjoy it. Gives me a chance to paint something not in my stock powered armored paint scheme. On the down side: faces. And generally more detail, but that’s OK.

Many thanks Ustrello and I hear you Nevelon. Painting power armor can be tedious. Fortunately I only have 10 or so more marines for this army.

When you take all the guns off, most imperial vehicles are just big boxes. It’s all the random baroque grubbins they stick everywhere that make them a pain. Plus the sheer size.

Coming along nicely.

The Armies of Armageddon: Minotaur test models @ 2015/03/24 02:15:49

Post by: 40kFSU

Yeah I know what you mean about the boxes. I think GW does a good job making super advanced armies look baroque. I mean half the IG tanks would look equally at home assaulting an alien planet or crossing the Marne.

Finished up the Land Raider. I think it worked out pretty well. I used the wolfy bits from the Storm Wolf because it makes no sense to put stuff like that on an aircraft.

It’s got a healthy amount of wolf on it. GW tends to go over the top, so it’s nice to see some moderation. I don’t know why you would hang pelts and tails off of a flyer; ferensian wolves might be tough, but they are not surviving an orbital drop on the outside of the hull. Fancy up the tank nicely though.

For some reason the hurricane bolters on the back spot looks off to me. It might be that I’m used to seeing them modeled on the front position. I know I prefer the TLLCs on the rear, they look off up front to me. Odd personal perspective opinion. Both spots are valid.

Keep up the good work!

The Armies of Armageddon: Minotaur test models @ 2015/03/25 00:06:35

Post by: 40kFSU

Thanks gents. I agree with you on the sponson placement. I usually place them up front reasoning you don't want to shoot your own guys when they come out the side door. Then again, these guys are Space Wolves. They go out the front. Going out the sides are for wimps and Ultramarines.

Managed to finish the close combat weapons for the dread....

@Nevelon- Thanks man. And yes, these are fairly eay to paint. The armor is only 3 colors and everything else goes quickly. Vehicles take a little longer putting the wash in the recesses. Totally worth it. Speaking of which, Stormwolf and Vindicator are on deck.

#Ustrello- Thank you sir, and yes these boys will hopefully find a happy home via ebay. Its a tacid agreement with my wife. I can build these armies as long as I sell them to fund the next. Cant really blame her, this is hobby is a tad expensive.

All looking grand!

I don't think I could ever bring myself to sell an army I'd put any work into, but selling one to fund the next a) means someone else gets an awesome army and b) you don't get bored and c) you don't end up like me, knee-deep in Space Marines and wondering where it all went wrong!

So here is the finished Vindicator. I was looking at it thinking it is missing something, at it is. Forgot to put wolfy bits on it. I'll fix that. The terminator with the SS and assault cannon will join Arjac's boys and fill the Land Raider. There are 2 Lone Wolves and the dude with the cape is the Battle Leader. Looks great! I think the Vindi could use some weathering on the dozer blade. I know the rest of the army is pretty clean, but it there's one place you can rely on to get dinged up, it's the immense piece of metal strapped to a tank and used to bulldoze through walls!

Yeah I feel you, never start an army you have no interest in. Might I suggest an Iron Hands or Raven Guard army? With IH you can do lots of augmentations and with RG you can do a lot of jump pack infantry.

How about Grey Knights? Nice and different from typical Marines, potential quite a small force, plenty of scope for special effects on all those Power Weapons.

Or if you want something completely different, the new AdMech kits look rather awesome!

Hm I must of missed that, my bad! But I'd still suggest the iron hands or another first founding chapter. Though the Admech would be very interesting, another suggestion could be a knight or two!

Hey gents,I'm glad you like the armies. Admech kinda creeps me out. It's like the IG ratlings. It's just weird. I'm hoping to settle on an army I like and just go with it. I want it to be marines, but with the largest selection of models. That would probably make it a codex chapter. I'm surfing lexicanum and Google for interesting chapters.

In the meantime, drop pod 2. I figured this one will deliver the dread so I left out the harnesses. Or I got lazy. What stinks is one of the doors snapped. It still closes and stays in place, can't even feel, but damn. Both pods the same thing. Maybe I got a bad batch. Still WIP.......

It’s probably the fact that drop pods are made out of pure evil and malice. They hate us as much as we hate them. Wretched things. I left the harnesses out of one of my pods for the same reason. The dread is a perfect excuse for not having to paint another set of these twisty little things that refuse to line up nice, and you need to do all sorts of brush contortions to get covered.

I might have some... issues with pods.

As for your next project, the world can always use some more Ultramarines .

@Ustrello- exactly. The Forgeworld transfer sheets are awesome. Ditto the resin pieces. Also they are a codex chapter so more cool models are available to them.

@Nevelon- I concur with your drop pod description. I think it's quite rational. It's almost as infuriating as building Necrons. As for the Ultras, I think you got them covered pretty well.

So, the Space Wolves are finished. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and took a look. Ustrello, if I go with Minotaurs, those two psycho's will be high on the list!

An awesome army as per usual FSU, I hope it finds a good home! Personally I'd rather see aiakos as I have never seen him fielded before when the minotaurs show up.

Wow. Love the army. I looked through it to try to find my favorite part, and couldn’t. It’s just all that good. Again: Wow.

So here are a couple test models for the Minotaurs. Went through about a half dozen formulas before I settled on this one. I got the idea from the "from the warp" blog. No washes, except the Sotek green for the patina effect. I think that's the right word. Disregard the red, need a darker shade. I tried to deepen it with a wash just to see. I really like the look of these guys. Anyway any opinions or criticisms would be appreciated.

And the pic is sideways. Sorry, used my phone.

I like it! Nice dark bronze for a dark chapter.

Thanks Ustrello, yeah it is a dark bronze. I like it better than the lighter versions I've seen around. Hell of it is I finally figured out how to paint these guys and now I'm not so sure I like it. Oh well, that's why they call it a hobby. I'm also drawn, almost inexplicably, to the Dark Angels. Never been able to pull them off. Maybe ill try again.
