I hope I have chosen the right forum to present our new project.
we are creating everything that you can find in the subsurface.
the kits will be produced in hard plastic, empty inside, like: G
Looks like it's going to be expensive... Really really nice though. Are you going to put your other stuff up on the Kickstarter? I tried to contact you several times a while ago to ask about your shipping costs as your website is not very clear I'm afraid. Though this was a while ago.

Hi overtyrant. Thanks for your comment.
We'll Add soon other parts of the dungeons, always to be proposed in KS.
about the contacts.
we always respond to e-mails.
of course it is possible that some e-mails escapes us... but it does not happen often.
Absolutely stunning everyone at Manorhouse Workshop! We will most defiantly be keeping an eye on your coming kickstarter and what else you produce as well !.
This instantly reminded me of Diablo 1. I want a set so I can run a tabletop version of Diablo, where I can remove the terrain previously explored to "generate" new ranodm terrain as other progress though.
katfude wrote: This instantly reminded me of Diablo 1. I want a set so I can run a tabletop version of Diablo, where I can remove the terrain previously explored to "generate" new ranodm terrain as other progress though.
Yes. remember the game Diablo.
but then a classic underground is not far from the brick-stone arches and grates
I agree, the modularity of our pieces will allow you to create what you want. And especially you create just what you want to see.
overtyrant wrote: When this is successful, you should really consider doing a sci-fi version.
Yes. transform this modular system in sci-fi theme, will be certainly taken into account.
keep in mind that even in this system will be
planned of the "dynamic walls" with steampunk theme.
as you can see in the image below.
all the interior walls of the individual walls can be replaced.
nothing prevents you replace the "dynamics walls " with parts sci-fi, steampunk or other.
There's been lots of different dungeony sets lately, but this one is really looking great. I especially like how you can stack it up with houses on top.
This will be perfect for Malifaux. I especially like the idea of inserts into the arches for walls. It's brilliant. I wish you the best, keep us in the loop.
I agree with Mathieu. I would certainly market this towards Malifaux players. They require a 3x3 board for their games. A hard plastic sewer set would be right up their alley, and something that most would want.
Looks interesting enough to consider using for Malifaux, but that realyl depends on price for a total 3X3 set up and how well it scales. With their normal buildings I always held back being unsure about the scale. It is a bit on the expenive side to just risk it.
about the size of a section of the dungeons:
floor 100 x 100 x 10 mm on the one hand stone, the other channel of the sewer.
the floor is divided into 8 squares from 25x25mm.
the walls are 100 x 56 x 20 mm.
price: we are currently doing to make estimates ... so soon we will know the price to the public.
but the price will be definitely the line, if not lower than the other productions of hard plastic.
currently our buildings are products in resin ... then definitely much more expensive of the new project in hard plastic.
I do not know the rules of the game Malifaux, but I appreciate the miniatures and the dark atmosphere.
which among other, our project effectively recreates as gloomy atmosphere.
In other words, 4"x4" squares with a 1" grid. The walls are about 3/4" thick and about 2 1/4" tall. So minus the thickness of the walls you have 2.5" give or take given that the walls are less thick near the archways.
But given that the tiles have a 1" grid, you can see how big everything is by looking at the grid.
And those dimensions make it very much on the edge of usable for malifaux with 30mm bases and single tiles. Meaning that one has to skip the sewer tile in single tile corridors if you still want to be able to place models ont he sidewalks. With less walls in bewteen it should be quite ok though. Might also be a bit on the low side height wise with regards to some models but that isn't that much of a problem imo.
Guess it'll depen on what type of tiles will be available to make lay outs with for me then.
On the KS, will you be bundling these with items from the previous KS? And will those be offered in plastic?
I love your stuff, but it is currently cost-prohibitive at the quantity I need. A typical board needs a few small buildings, a large building, and a few odd-end or two (partial buildings, ruins, etc.). Usually all of that is around a $100 with competitors.
for the cost: price: we are currently doing to make estimates ... so soon we will know the price to the public.
but the price will be definitely the line, if not lower than the other productions of hard plastic.
for playability:
playability in the simple section of the dungeon with both walls. the channel of the sewer is too wide around 25mm - 1 ".
then playable for almost the totality of games on the market. and "adaptable" for the remaining.
the flexibility of our product then allows you to create anything you want and adapt to any type of game you play.
about Manorhouse Workshop buildings :
at the moment we are planning what's underground.
but nothing prevents us if we see that the KS is evolving very positively, to include buildings in resin or even better in hard plastic.
I am sure that we succeed to produce even the buildings in hard plastic . what do you think?
Alpharius wrote: I was questioning someone else who mentioned that they're 'too expensive' - but it looks like he edited that out of his post.
But then it looks like Sheck2 is saying similar things.
So, what are people basing this on, if the KS hasn't launched yet?!?
those who speak of high prices, is speaking of the items of my catalogue.
Up to now I have always produced my items in resin . much more expensive and heavier than the plastic.
The KS will start in the spring.
If it goes to plastic, then the price ought to come down after a successful KS, right?
I'll be honest, Italy's postal service scares me a bit. I have heard too many horror stories, so if there is distribution from *almost anywhere else*, then I'll feel safer.

surely the price will be very convenient for those who will participate in the KS, plus many rewards.
after KS, the prices will certainly interesting
for shipments as I wrote. you will have several places. America, Australia and Europe. probably our Items, will never see Italy...
however, I break a lance also for Italian shipments :
I am finishing shipments of the my first Indiegogo.
on over a hundred expeditions in much of the world. everything went well.
I once ordered from Italy... The shipper had proof they'd mailed my item, it wasn't a pricy item so I didn't make a fuss... It showed up 6 months late. I considered myself lucky as I know how things tend to go for people.
aka_mythos wrote: I once ordered from Italy... The shipper had proof they'd mailed my item, it wasn't a pricy item so I didn't make a fuss... It showed up 6 months late. I considered myself lucky as I know how things tend to go for people.
These look very cool. I hope this works out.
thanks for your hope.
lately the Italian postal service have improved a lot.
in Europe in 3 working days you have delivery.
in America about 5.
with tracking code of the package.
the discourse of shipments will be solved for sure with shipments made directly from 3 continents mentioned before.
Anyway, I didn't want this thread to devolve into you having to apologize for the italian postal service.
Huzzah on your Indiegogo campaign. Once your KS start, though, make sure you update the first post so the link is easy to find, you'll at the very least get my eyes.
However, it looks good - I love the ability to stack (even if it could make playability difficult). The main things to me would be price per area covered, and variation in design of panels, floors and panel holding arches.

no problem Mathieu. the Italians are the first ones to criticize the italian couriers...
@SilverMK2. are sure you have already seen a similar job? I not currently know of any other similar systems to mine. both as design solutions, as dynamic walls or as the the mounting system of the sections.
if you know one similar product to our, I'd like to know. also because are more than eight months that I present my project on many international forums.
as already written, the price will be uppermost in our thoughts, as the design of the walls always captivating and modular. and dinamic walls with more variants.
Not the one I remember - this one is for sci fi. However I can remember a fantasy one very similar to yours (it may have been a link to a post you made on another forum?).
I don't see how these join together, can you show us that closer. Right now it just looks like the walls stick into the floor, but there is no connection between floor pieces, which would mean a good table bump would send an earthquake through the dungeon. Especially bad if your buildings are sitting on top of it.

can be seen in the image (for be seen only now. after will be produced in black or brown) of the blocks in teflon white in the upper part of the walls. these blocks block walls between them.
the same is true for the union of the floors.
In addition, as can be seen the tower is selfsupporting. the individual walls fit between them.
of course, make more complex the dungeon, you have more chance to "move" the whole.
but, this applies to all systems...
@SilverMK2. sorry but, the system Escenorama seems more similar to the system of Spartan Games in their KS. that my.
Alpharius wrote: I was questioning someone else who mentioned that they're 'too expensive' - but it looks like he edited that out of his post.

I do not think Manorhouse's current products are too expensive. They are extremely high quality and functionality. They are awesome. Their cost / price is appropriate for that level.
What I am saying is...that price point makes it hard or even prohibitive for me to buy what I need to make a table. I am hoping Manorhouse can find a way to lower that price point without compromising their amazing quality and functionality.

thank you for what you write about our products and their quality.
of course, lower the price, should not affect the quality.
will be only the material used to lower the price.
the hard plastic will lower the price, not quality.
In our project we have spoken of the crypts.
here are the first prototypes of mummies ...
we took a cue from a famous crypt existing in Italy: "The Chapel of the Capuchin Fathers" of Palermo, to create our frightening crypts.
Alessio Cisbani has sculpted some mummies multi-pose for us.
are still to be finished.
you imagine entire crypts full of mummies hanging inside of niches... terrifying!
Holy crap! This is certainly the best looking hard plastic terrain I've ever seen. Mantic and Spartan are probably green with envy right now. But it all depends on the price!

I know that place!!!
If you make that crypt even half way like the real one, I want TWO of them.
Mymearan wrote: Holy crap! This is certainly the best looking hard plastic terrain I've ever seen. Mantic and Spartan are probably green with envy right now. But it all depends on the price!
Thanks.
we are trying to create complex structures and visually pleasing. but which can be produced in hard plastic maintaining a high quality standard.
Mantic and Spartan produce different products, especially for the sci.fi.
and I'll tell you, our underground is perfect for the game Dungeon Saga of the Mantic...
the price... the price for the KS will definitely inviting and with many surprises and rewards
the price after KS, will definitely higher than that of the KS. but I am sure that we will keep it in average with other producers, if not more lower.
@Grot6. the design of the crypts will be very dark, claustrophobic, oppressive... you'll love it!
While we wait the 3D Files for the steel molds of the basic set of sewers and underground. Let’s start with the new design of the second set underground and rooms of the castle. The second set (drawings made by Michele Bottalico) will be dedicated to the Gothic period and to the first windows with arches “Sesto Acuto” and “Everything Sesto”, both mono that mullioned windows. Creating so further dynamism and possibilities to make unique your dungeon of dream...
Hmm, I think from a design (both aesthetic as functionality) perspective this project is pure awesomeness. I mean, it seems to be pretty mindblowing and amazing what you've made here. But all in all, the main breaking point will be the price. I wonder how you're gonna be able to suppress your costs to such an extent that the kit becomes affordable.

thanks, Malika2
There are two ways to reduce costs:
the first is: produce many pieces.
the second is: produce many pieces.
Joking aside. KS will have many funders, more funders we have, more we can treat the cost of both production and shipments.
therefore, we will have to create a product that interests to thousands of potential funders.
by the middle of March we will have all the quotes needed to make a suitable price to KS.
but in the meantime we'll have also showed the many possibilities of this project.
many houses are producing scenaries in plastic.
Question: in your opinion what company has quality and price acceptable?
back to news:
of course, the new dynamics walls also work with the walls in bricks.
If you can bring the price of each component (be it a floor or wall section) to $1 each, you'd have a real winner. The tricky thing with terrain is that it tends to be seen as a 'secondary' thing to have. Models (infantry, vehicles, etc) tend to be on people's top list, terrain is a bonus. So one might very quickly consider terrain to expensive if it means the person could for that same money buy a complete army or whatever. Also, you'd have to compete against scratchbuilding terrain.
However, the product you're making is pretty amazing, looks very high end, which means people might be more inclined to buy it instead of trying to scratchbuild it.
As for the campaign working out: just make sure you spread it far and wide. Basically all the steampunk, WWI, WWII, fantasy, medieval, 40k, dieselpunk, etc. etc. etc. communities out there.

I agree with what you wrote.
therefore, I try to make the project irresistible. the funders will have to think about one thing: I can not live without the dungeons of Manorhouse Workshop
I am sure that if you create an interesting product and ductile even if it is an accessory can "catch" the fantasies of many funders.
moreover, we have many miniatures on the shelves gathering dust ... without a dungeons where playing...
The project, we are promoting from many months everywhere. and feedbacks are currently all positive.
Hmm, keep the miniatures that are collecting dust out of the Kickstarter, unless it's for show. One of the failings of Spartan Games' attempt at terrain was that they went all over the place by also offering their archived miniatures. So stick to this terrain and expand on that.
Oh, and if you don't plan a too high workload (again the focus thing from above) it might mean you'd be able to deliver your product quickly. Delays tend to be a tricky thing...
Oh damn you, damn you to straight to Hades - I'd managed to convince myself to pass on this because I didn't think I'd be able to make your initial offering look fantasy enough...and you go and show off this new gothic theme with big chunky stone texture and everything.
I'm going to need an emergency walletectomy after this

sorry my english is not much good...
we do not add the miniatures. was a way of saying...
the theme will remain just everything that was built in the subsurface.
@Yodhrin.
thanks, I know it's hard ... but the stone and the stone and there you can not resist...
Amazing terrain.
1. Try to keep costs low, as you said yourself, producing many sets. Best thing is probably not to make too many options but to focus on a few really good pieces that you can sell lots of. Keep the KS simple and try to deliver within a reasonable time.
2. Plastics sometimes ends up with really "soft" detail, i.e. nowhere near as crisp and easily painted as resin. I hope you have this covered.
3. With all sculpts already in 3D, I would advice you to wait and see how GW will handle base sizes before deciding the grid size. Malifaux use 30 mm, GW is moving 40k into 32 mm - and there are rumors about Fantasy going to round bases also (perhaps 32 mm). If so, a terrain system with a 1"/25 mm grid will be outdated and hard to sell. A rescaled system with a 32 mm grid would on the other hand be perfect...

the drama of the dimensions of the squares displacement is constant.
the product created by us is directed to all the skirmish games on the market.
at the time almost all of the skirmish games is based on the thumb.
but nothing prevents us to set up a couple of floors with squares about from 30x30mm.
For the speech on prices: it would refer to when we have them in hand. but surely we will try to keep prices "attractive".
while for the detail of partcolari. we're working a lot.
we will try to get the maximum possible from a material as the hard plastic.
This terrain reminds me an awful lot of Diablo II! It looks like the procedurally-generated dungeons from the First Act in the game. Really cool project!

yes, our project recreates the dark atmosphere of Diablo.
you'll see with the new Gothic walls, windows and stairs with balconies interiors...
stairs and balconies will take you higher and higher or getting lower and lower...
Hi everyone
Little update on what we are working.
An image of a set of new stone walls in the Gothic style, combined with brick walls. New flooring in brick and stone, and the first hint of internal balcony and staircase to access it, the wooden floors for corridors of the upper floors.
The coloration is in work in progress … but I could not stop myself from to share with you the work already done.
In the next post we will get into detail about of the individual parts.
It looks absolutely stunning!! I think I will have to drop out of another KS so I can channel even more funds to this as I want to make a 3x3 table for Malifaux out of this stuff!
overtyrant wrote: It looks absolutely stunning!! I think I will have to drop out of another KS so I can channel even more funds to this as I want to make a 3x3 table for Malifaux out of this stuff!

given the number of players of Malifaux.
probably we will create a S.G with a couple of floors with squares about 33x33mm. being our the floor 100x100 mm.
That looks pretty damn good with those extra levels. I might even cave in and pledge for a table. Would be brilliant to make some Malifaux sewers/ old haunt with.
And to be honest, there is no real practical reason to include 33mm square for Malifaux in the stone tiles since they don't really benefit gameplay. Only thing that is less than usefull is the small stream in single corridors from the looks of it. That however can be solved by putting those pieces in between other tiles.

thanks. create a couple of floors with larger squares, is not a big problem for us. but as already written, if there not will be many required of this item. we will avoid them.
the channel of the sewers will be covered by various accessories that we will create specifically for it.
Out of interest, will it be possible to pledge for one type of walls and a different type of floors, or failing that just the walls, or will you be doing the floors & walls on the same sprues? I'm loving the gothic walls but I prefer the first set of floor tiles you showed.

each series will have its own spue which will include all the necessary pieces to create a set of underground.
each series of Gothic walls, will have 2/3 different double face floors, including the floor which is located in the series of brick walls.
but will not have the sewer, which will be only in the version with bricks.
however, depending on how will move the KS, there will also be the opportunity to purchase only the floors, which are the parts that will be used more.

Getting quite excited for this one. I've always wanted to do an underground Mordheim table, but the thought of casting thousands upon thousands of Hirst Arts blocks out of plaster made my eyes go crosseyed

Also wondering, how do I find out about delivery times for the first indiegogo? Mine was an odd order with a Barbican, Fortified Walls 1 x3, Tower 1 x2 and an Arengario
Here is a crazy question. Say someone wanted to make a zone mortalis Table Useing these sets. How many would you need to make enough corridors to cover a 4x4 table would you estimate? Or even how many sets you would need to completely cover a 4x4 table?

Thanks for your comment and for your support in my first Indiegogo.
within a couple of weeks finally the castle walls will be in production.
and then we can begin to send the latest goods.
I apologize for the delay. but we are paying the inexperience of the first indiegogo.

I am also certain that you participate in this KS. the buildings that you have purchased in the first Indiegogo, are compatible with the new underground.

at the moment, we have floors 10x10 cm., about 4 inches.
therefore, to completely fill a table for "Zone Mortalis" from 4 feet x4 , about 120x120 cm., serve 144 floors.
much probably, We will make also floors 20x20 cm. (about 8x8 ").
But if not completely covering all the ground and making only many corridors. will serve much less pieces.
we are studying these days the sprue for the base box.
we want to be able to put in the box, about 20 floors and 24 walls. more all dynamic walls, accessories and others.
soon we will let you know exact quantity.

Hi to all
The dungeon now opens in height. With the new system of internal stairs and balconies, you can create a multitude of fantastic environments. We start with presenting a spacious hall with imposing stairs leading to three different storey...
Hi everyone.
As promised, we enter into the detail of the second set dedicated to the Gothic Walls.
The basic package of “Gothic Walls” changes only in design, but in practice it can create corridors and rooms like the first set in brick: floors, large walls, small walls, dynamics walls and accessories.
These look great. I just thought you could do an evolving dungeon adventure quite easily with this. You don't want to roll for traps? Sure, go ahead, but the gates might come down on vital objectives...
I hope your not using indiegogo. I'm excited about your new project and wanted to get into your last project but wasn't comfortable with the way shipping and the cost language was described. I was confused about the whole thing. Please keep it simple for us less intelligent people.

will be a Kickstarter.
Prime Indiegogo was very complex to create for me.
but, it definitely served to gain experience.
in this Kickstarte I'm not alone. I've behind people competent for both the KS, both for the production of hard plastic.
therefore, I am sure everyone will understand to better the project.
soon we will activate the page of KS, where we will collect all your comments and suggestions, before starting the real Kickstarter.
@Mathieu: thanks. I think you can to devise any idea with our modular system and our Dynamics Walls.
Ken Oakley wrote: Excellent. I'm excited and look forward to the KS. When will it open?
within a few days we will have the files to create the first sprue in hard plastic. we will send files to the firm for the estimate of the production.
and within another week we will have estimates to create the goal for KS.
afterwards, we will publish the test page on KS.
Hi everybody.
Another small digital update. We’re going to have all the files needed to create the first sprue. And consequently also the quotes for the production in hard plastic.
Now all the masters have been revisited in digital system and all the measurements and all the interlocking checked and made symmetrical.
Just a couple of weeks and we will have all the estimates in hand.
While we wait for the estimates of the steel molds, we continue to present new possible settings created with our walls and accessories. Today we want to show you how easy it is to create fantastic corridors on several floors, using the stairs and the wooden floors of the interior balconies.
First example: as you can see it is very easy to create a second floor, by placing the floors on the upper ledges of the walls.
Now we want to make the dungeon a bit ‘more complex and articulated. We always start from this corner and add some wall, some flooring and a staircase.
Take the 2 small handrails and positional together on the short side of the floor…
And in doing so we create a balustrade that blocks the corridor on the second floor, creating dynamism to the whole scene.
The possibilities are endless and always with a great visual impact.
@Mathieu. the plastic walls in the upper part will be finished with a texture of stone or brick. that in the resin prototypes we had not planned.
Furthermore, the plastic will be much more accurate at the junction points of the resin. so, everything will be more linear and clean.
@germanicus. Thanks. the Kickstarter will start in early June.
at this time we are waiting of the estimates for steel molds.
sorry for the long absence of informazuioni. but working with numbers takes time.
After a long wait, we finally have the estimates of the molds in steel and sprue in hard plastic. The time to do a couple of accounts and we will let you know what it will cost during the Kickstarter the box the dungeon and the Goal for start the KS. I tell you now that you will be impressed with the base price of the box and its contents. I am also all too unbalanced … still a moment of patience. We leave you to the vision of these images that are further variants of our walls and future accessories
These are looking really great. I honestly don't have any use for any of these corridors at the moment, but still looking forward to backing just cuz it's so cool
Alpharius wrote: All I can say is I want that exact table set up right there!
If, as they say, The Price is Right!
So fantastic...
Thanks Alpharius. The Price will be Right!
we are already doing make the mold in steel, so we are sure that the price it is only right.
at the moment we are deciding the price of the box and potential SG, Add-ons and Rewards.
the wait is now at the end. not so long still and we will have the price for the KS.
hopefully someday you are able to make a sci-fi version of this because it looks insanely cool. But, I have no use for it since I don't play anything that isn't futuristic. I might have to start just to have an excuse to get this though hehe.

a S.G. (depending on how you move the KS. It will surely be dedicated to accessories and dynamic walls, dedicated to steam punk and sci-fi.

Hello everyone. I could not resist, I just learned the price of the base box of dungeon during our Kickstarter departing from mid-June
“The Modular Underground Project is scheduled for launch on Kickstarter mid-June. Rewards will be multiple sets of a base box, starting 55$ excluding shipping. However we will take care of custom charges and will ship from both EU and US warehouses. Whether or not we will have an Australian warehouse to avoid custom charges to the Australian backers is still to be confirmed. Expect amazing deals and tons of freebies to be unlocked as we reach the various stretchgoals.”
Alpharius wrote: Well, it goes without saying that depending what's in a 'base box', this could be a fantastic deal!
How many 'base boxes' would I need to buy to build this:
or will that require additional add-ons not included in a 'base box' - the river/sewer sections, for example?
Thanks!
Hi Alpharius. less than 2 boxes. for the walls and the floors.
but, you will need to wait until you arrive at the SG. stairs and balconies.
but, also it depends on how will rise KS. there will be many free SG that will allow you to add more walls, floors and accessories.
a box will contain: 12 large walls, 6 small walls, 6 floors double-face; sewers / stone, various dynamic walls, grates, doors ecc...
by tomorrow we will enter in the detail of box and of perks.
In the beginning of the thread, people mentioned the horrors of Italian post. An Italian friend sent me a t-shirt. When the parcel arrived, it had been opened and taped shut (she confirmed it), but not before the shirt had been replaced by a Russian calendar with pictures of bridges.

Hi Frozen. probably you have not read our message.
shipments will take place from America and Holland for Europe.
we are working for shipments to Australia.
Italy probably our product will not see it not even.

While I'd be more than happy to throw a lot of support behind this project, still waiting on stuff from the last kickstarter so I can know the basic scale to see if it's useful for WHQ or or systems which work on a 25mm/1" grid.
The stretcherbond style looks great, but with the border what is the actual size of the grid?

Hi. I apologize for the delay, but I hope in the next month to send the latest goods.
yes, the grid is 2,5 cm. - 1".
the floor is 10x10 cm. - 4x4 ". with the walls, it shrinks to the pillars to 6 cm. about 2 inch
ideal for miniatures in 28-32 mm.
Hello everyone.
Today we present the content of the box. we can only say that it really contain many pieces.
The price of the box during the Kickstarter will be $ 55.00 (about € 49.00). But already with 2 boxes the price drops to $ 100.00 (about € 88.00) … But the various Perks and rewards we will explain better in the coming posts.
In the box...
But what we can do with just one box? one example. others to link below
Hello everyone.
They are full days those who see us busy preparing the starting of the our Kickstarter.
We are refining and preparing the most of what you will find inside the box
As already know, our box will contain both version: sewers, is the underground version. In the first image you petete see version Sewer. You will notice that inside the box there will be some “dynamics walls” in most. These will allow you to further modify your dungeon.
And here’s the underground version. Of course you can mix as you like.
They were made of changes: the doors have been integrated to the walls of the dynamics walls. You can detach or leave them integrated to the walls. this will be your choice.
Ernster wrote: Man these look beautiful and I could use them in several gaming genre's.
Thanks, in fact our underground can go very well for many games.
I wonder, how you would find them at ease the our heroes and the zombies of "Zombicide Black Plague" to wander the corridors and rooms of our dungeon...
Hello everyone.
Today we present the mock-up of the box: “Oblivion Starter Set”
The first box of many others that you will discover during the Kickstarter.
The dimensions are “important”: 32 x 50 x h12 cm. and it will be full, full of pieces.
But the most important thing is: we are about to receive the first hard plastic sprues. (A matter of a few hours really)
We have already seen a photo sent by the company. (pity it is not the most for publication …) but we can assure you that when you will see the result obtained from the steel mold … you will be impressed very favorably
Alex C wrote: Very tempting. Though with Bones 3, 12 Realms, Black Plague and possibly Frostgrave all this month I don't think my budget can stretch...
true that there are many important KS. but they are all in some way be used with our dungeons system.
I also can not wait that starts the KS of "Zombicide Black Plague" and that of the Reaper.
you imagine our dungeons invaded by zombies and heroes...
Today we are elated. We finally have in hand early prototypes in hard plastic of the walls and floors.
The result has left us speechless. The quality of the texture is fantastic. Seem resin parts are so detailed.
Assemble the pieces is simple: we glued only 2 half of the walls large and small, helping with practical wings to align the workpiece without mistakes.
Everything else we left free, in order to be better positioned as you want.
The visual impact is considerable, assembly simple, fun is guaranteed.
Of course, the prototypes are still incomplete and should be added parts which have been left behind to have the prototypes in time. Of the rest, these prototypes were sent for prototyping over 4 months ago … but without these pieces. we would not have known guarantee the high quality that we provide to all of you who participate in KS. From these early prototypes we will get the quality standard of steel moulds that will go in production .
You will find inside of the box: 6 floors Sewers and 6 stone floors. Since we published the contents of the box you have asked a greater number of floors. Of the rest of the floors can be used in many ways, not only to enlarge the rooms. So we accepted the demand of the public and we have doubled the floors.
Now you can create dungeons much bigger with less box. And… especially do not will increase the price.
I was going to pass but then I saw the train tracks and suddenly... Metro 2033!?! Between this and the Fallout 4 announcement, Post Apocalyptia here I come!

@Zwan1One Thanks.
@Necros about abbandoned mine: also mines sonon within our project.
but, as for the subway, we do not know if we can include them in this KS.
in the case will be the main theme of the next KS
Today we answer a question that many of you have addressed from the beginning of the project: “Your system, can be used by owners of Dwarven Forge items ?” The answer is: yes!
We have prepared a table with our matched dungeons to the beautiful caves of DF and a section of the tavern, to make you see a possible combination between the two products. The result is fantastic.
The caves of D.F. They integrate perfectly with our sewers and underground.
I think with this exhaustive post we were able to dispel any doubt about the compatibility between the two systems.
All the best. Lorenzo
Necros wrote: That looks great but would look even better with your own cave tiles
this is supposed only to be a comparison between our dungeons and those of DF. which shows that it is possible to use both systems together.
therefore, all those who have already purchased the DF dungeons . they now know that their purchase is compatible with our product. especially with the last houses of the Dwarven Forge Kickstarter.:
Thanks for your comments guys.
spread the word on the web. that 15 part of our KS..
we are waiting for the approval of video and personal data platform Kickstarter.
the date remains June 15 if there are no delays by KS.
but we are optimistic about that.
We are also awaiting for the latest estimates for the prepainted.
Do you have some nice shots of 4'x4' or 6'x4' setups with these tiles? I was trying to some folks interested for this for skirmish games like Mordheim.
Do you have a (good) storage/transport system ready for this?

the price for the Kickstarter will be $ 55
the box contains very many pieces. You will can and fun create always new corridors.
2 boxes is double fun. But, the price decreases … $ 100.00 instead of $ 110.00. Sara our pledge of entry for also have all the freebies that will be unlocked.
To keep united the floors if necessary, you will find in the box of the blocks. They will also help to block and align the walls to one another.
I loooooooooooooooooooooooove this. Please dear god, as soon as you start your kickstarter post the link. All that for $55??? I will definitely buy in for two boxes ;-)

Hello everyone.
the Murphy’s Law is always in ambush… The KS could start in the fixed date? Of course not!
The same platform KS. Before It does make changes to the video. for then blocked all data… and rebuilding from scratch the whole approval process… Well, we think that everything that could happen has happened. So, now we can start in the best way. By tomorrow, maximum after tomorrow we should have green light from the KS platform . So, by 18, we will be definitely ready to launch the project. Maybe making see preview the page and the video for receive your first comments before the real launch.
All the best. Lorenzo
Hello everyone.
We finally have the green light from the KS platform . The launch of KS is scheduled for Friday in the afternoon for America and Friday in the night to Italy. (About 23.00)
Meanwhile, we present a preview the video.
By tomorrow we succeed in making even see the full page of the KS, a preview of a few hours from the launch of the KS.
@Lorenzo, will I be able to pledge twice or double my pledge in a pledge category and receive twice the SG's? My son is interested for his D&D group and I was just going to go in for him.

I think that you can do with activating 2 accounts. you'll have to enter with 2 different accounts.
keep in mind, however, that we will be pledges from:
1 box.
2 boxes.
3 boxes.
5 boxes.
10 boxes
and the savings will go up on the basis to the boxes purchased.

Beasts of War has an article about this saying it will start at 13:00 Eastern US time.
Which is correct?
we will launch to the Italian 23 hours. about 17 in USA
BOW has wrong hours...
but, of the fact that our partner will launch the KS is currently in Singapore ...
we hope to hit exactly the various time zones.
latest news prior to launch:
my partners I have indicated that the Early Bird from $ 100 for 2 boxes, will not be many. This pledge allows access to all the freebie that will be unlocked.
therefore, stay tuned.

all pledges will have their Early Bird staff. more pladges from 2-3 box, less than 5 -10 box.
but I can not tell you the exact number.
I can only add... that there could also be other blocks EB slightly more expensive, during the KS but, I have not told you anything...

I like the look of this but if Maki Games has their hand in this I am VERY weary of touching it. Heads up people. Maki's containers project was wrecked with every delay you can think of and even today I am still waiting on missing parts from that KS "Estimated delivery November 2013" Its June 2015! There communication is almost non-existent, but hey they already have your money. So their involvement in this KS gives me serious pause. I hope that will not be a repeat for this KS!
I really like the design and the potential of this stuff to be sure just not willing to deal with Maki at the moment.

I can not speak on behalf of Maki Games.
but I can only say that they have made experience since their first Kickstarter. as I have made experience from my first Indiegogo,
They have improved in the quality of the plastic.
about communication, now is Manorhouse Workshop to manage the comunication.
and as you can see we are always there to answer any questions.
even the most "uncomfortable"
the delays in a KS there will always be. because you can not know in advance how many will participate.
we have now arranged everything in a large plastic production.
with companies that will pack and ship for us,
This for sure will facilitate everything, but will not guarantee perfection.
@Alpharius, I thought the same thing. Pledge for the 2 set EB and add the $55 set and you get 3 sets for $155 as opposed to $165 for three. Apparently the way the SG's work is you get the items multiplied. The $165 pledge of 3 gives you 3x's the SG's and the pledge for 5 gets you 5x's. Based upon that the 3 pledge is better becuase the 2 EB plus add on only net you 2 x's the SG becuase the $55 does not get SG's. That is the way it was explained to me. I was confused becuase I am used to pledging for example Zombicide and only getting 1 miniature at the SG. This KS you apparently would get 5 miniatures if pledged at the 5 set pledge!
You also have to consider shipping. I had thought about getting 2 of the 2x EBs for $100 each, since I have a couple KS accounts and get a total of 4 sets. After looking at shipping, and comparing the other pledges, it does end up being better to go with the 5x EB instead of the 2 2x EB.

our KS is different from others.
more boxes, more freebies

@Lorenzo, you should hit the Lead-adventure.de forums and tabletopgaming news to advertise. I do not have an account or I would, plus you can answer questions.
Any idea on the add ons and SG's, I am interested in the 10 set pledge but if you need a lot of adding for detail as opposed. To getting them in SG's it would be better to stay at my 5 sets.
Also the number of sewage tiles seems high especially if you get to the upper pledges. Not trying to be to critical. On a positive note, I think the stuff looks fantastic and can be used in multiple genres. I planto use it in,
Incursion
Dust tactics under Zverograd
zombicide BP RPG's
If the initial funding goal is 100k I doubt we'll be seeing any new themes until we hit another large interval, given most of their costs are going to be in the metal tooling.
I hope enough folk back it to get us to the gothic stone theme.

about the SG. I think that by today-tomorrow we will reveal some new information.
I can add that the first SG. free should be a very useful piece in the creation of more complex environments of simple corridors.
I am following the comments on the page KS.
and backers are split between those who like to have a mix of floors and sewers, and those who do not want more sewers.
when producing plastic, it produces a sprue complete with all the pieces.
therefore, the number of floors and sewer channels are indivisible.
but we have already solved the problem.
the channels of the sewers. They will be covered by various structures.
how to fill the channel with a strip of stones.
or from the iron grates
or a small track rail for small train or wagon for underground mine.
or a thousand other solutions.
but everything depends on how will be the rise of the KS goal
@Alpharius, exact, much potential. as written above.
Let me know what you think.

Today at 7pm CEST, / 1 pm EDT / 10am PDT we will add to our Kickstarter a few extra EARLY BIRDS for those who were out of town in the weekend and missed the chance to grab the good deals:
50x 110$ EARLY BIRD “2 OBLIVION STARTER SET ”
20x 160$ EARLY BIRD “3 OBLIVION STARTER SET ”
But there is more goodness on the horizon:
Take a look at what you can build with the pledge level “2 OBLIVION STARTER SETS”
To clear the air on the value of the future freebies we are also going to add the “1 box + stretch goals” pledge level. 59$: 1 OBLIVION STARTER SET (INCLUDING STRETCH GOALS)
However, the freebies planned for this Kickstarter are going to be so many that you better grab one of the 3 starter sets EARLY BIRDS.
Stay tuned for the upcoming updates. Over the next days we will show what you can build with this amazing set, will post more photos on the actual scale of the dungeons tiles and give you some suggestions on how to adapt this set to existing dungeon-based boardgames.
@Lorenzo, what is the status of the Gothic walls, do you have to make a certain amount for production or can you produce them? If you can produce them can I suggest those as the wallSGinstead of the brick. The reason being it all drive the pledges higher. People with the ten pledges are pledging for that large amount becuase they want or need it. Others are staying at their pledges becuase the brick Walls are being built up in the SG. Ig it were gothic walls it would add diversity and grow the underground in different concepts. I would jump on the ten becuase I would then have 20 gothic walls instead of brick. Im in at five and son in at 3 so that give us 16 more walls if we reach the SG so why go to 10 pledges? Others probably feel the same at lower pledges.

According to the tradition established in our previous Kickstarter we want to give back for your generosity. This means EVERY BACKER at EVERY PLEDGE LEVEL will receive a free upgrade of their Oblivion Starter Sets!

Hi. 2 boxes + the stairs as an add-on - SG.

Automatically Appended Next Post: Second update dedicated to the comparison of the miniatures and accessories VS our dungeon. Today we have a classic role-playing game: D&D. So nothing more typical of a sewer “MUP” to best present this fantastic game.
Third Comparison of accessories and miniatures. I think there is no better theme of prisons to pose a dungeon. We used a little of everything for accessories. Miniature Fenyll, D&D, Reaper-bones. The result is amazing.

Canceling a project is a tough decision and trust me when I say it was not taken lightly.
As all our backers we were expecting a bigger success of our product from the early days of this Kickstarter. This hypothesis led us to plan the Kickstarter in its actual form. To continue this crowdfunding campaign at this stage would mean to waste a wonderful idea. For this reason we have decided to cancel this project and to allow our loyal backers to invest their funds in other projects, trusting that the same backers will still be interested in our project in the future.
It was pretty well stalled out, so I guess Maki/Manorhouse figured it was better to pull out rather than risk not funding for some reason. I can't see why anyone considers a project that doesn't meet it's funding goal any more a failure than one that the create preemptively cancels.
Anyhow, if they do re-work the project and try again, I hope they ditch the sewer tiles and put the stairs and wooden platforms in the base kit.
Instead of focusing on one box, they should break it up into three boxes. The main issue with the main box by itself, there was only so many ways you could customize it that overall made it limited. Or rather until we got it, backers couldn't fully grasp the different combinations that could be done. That has a tendency to make people back more reserved.
If it was broken into a couple boxes then they could do a Sewers/Subway box, Floors/Rooms Box, Accessories Box. It still needs work, that was just an example though.
For me, I'd have gone in for much more than two boxes if A; it was split into walls kit/floor kit/accessories kit(stairs etc), in various themes, and B; if Gothic walls had been available from the start.
However, I do understand why they went with the big box approach rather than A, since I assume they want this to end up in FLGS globally eventually and that's easier with fewer SKUs, but it's not an insurmountable issue(they could produce the sprues in that 3-way split and offer them that way during the KS and through their own webstore, but package them in themed boxed sets for sale through retail(and maybe offer a "retailer-only" pledge of many many such boxes through the KS to drive the number up).
Hopefully we see them back soon and things go better, because this is something I really want to see happen.

Well, they could have done some "KS only" add-ons like this, where only backers could get more of certain parts. Additionally, this would give them feedback on how to package the boxes for retail, if they find out a particular add-on was frequently purchased with a box.
I also read that some didn't back the project because of its association with Minx -- despite the project being handled by Manorhouse (although I've heard something like that before...!)?
Man, that's a real shame to hear! Manorhouse really had something nice here. Let's hope they'll be back soon and be more successful, they really deserve it!

I know I was waiting for the 'train tracks' and more 'true' room expansions too...
Still, hopefully they learn from this and come back bigger, better and stronger - soon!
Yeah exactly my thought. I would have rather done train tracks or room expansions. I do understand the need to have a big base box but the disadvantage is the limiting factor.
So sad to see this get pulled. I was really starting to consider the ability to use it to build traditional buildings and ruins scenery for 40K. I think if they marketed the same product as being able to fill either dungeon or war-game scenic role, there would be a lot more interest.

Best of luck, Lorenzo!
