Hello. This is my thread where I will post my future modelling and painting projects. I mostly play Mordheim and necromunda so here will be lots of pictures about Gang, Warband, City of the Damned and Hive City. Sometimes I might do something different.
Here is my Mordheim board what I built when started palying Mordheim 2011. I built it fast from cardboard. So now I have time to built more better buildings....
This is my newly finished Mordheim building called corner house 1
And Here is my necromunda table which is built using mostly cardboard

Posting more images is my primary intention.
This picture can be found in my gallery.
Houses are built from foamboard and wood. Miniatures are from Black Scorpion. Palm tree I made myself from bandage, sand, metal wire and paper.
This is my Cutlass game pirate crew...
Floors are removable. Every door have hinges on them. Even the small peeking hole in Inns door.

Post by: Mad Sergeant
I have made more the Monument. It is only needing some details and paint job.
Sorry did'n find the right word describe what I have done. So let the picture tell for me.
Made eges from serial cardboard box.
Testing it... It fits.. I did not plan this. Just making on my way.
This is finished monument. It is going to get more details and paint job. It looks more grudge than orginal, but it is goin to fit to Mordheim just nice. Also I need to give it some watered down glue before painting it.

I painted some green color inside in the barrel bottom then I did put some PVA glue (white) inside in barrel and let it dry over night. On morning its clear and looks like water and green shown under it.

I bought this foam from local hardware store. It size was 250 cm x 60 cm. So did cut it for four 60x60cm (2' x 2') pieces to gain this standard 120 cm x 120 cm gaming board. (4' x 4' )
One hole foamaboard cost about 5-10 euros. (~10£ ~15 dollars).

Will you post some battle reports of your mordhiem games?
Well. My battle report skills are not so good, but I did make this one. From last week game. It's not so great and it is most text are written in Finnish.
Combat with Reikland mercenaries vs. Dwarf treasure hunters. Taken place in Herring. Near Raven barrack. Scenario is Surprise attack from original rule book.
In start some of dwarfs was not deployed. They were exploring some other parts of mordheim and would be reinforcements if needed (leader, wizard and one henchmen group). Rest of the dwarfs were deployed 8 inches from edge and 8 inches away from others
-Dwarf Engneer was finding fish from the casket and wasn't happy about it.. And these two dwarfs was on guard. Sleeping and throwing rocks to well.-
Attacker deployed at random table edge 8 inches from edge. Reiklander mercenaries attacked against both guard dwarfs. Rest of the attackers waited on ruins to jump on these poor dwarfs. Their leader was shouting attack commands!
Unlucky sleeping was taken out of action in first round. Another one was stunned by archers. Troll slayers took cover to ruins agains hail of arrows and gun shots from pistol. Guard dwarf was not so easily taken out.
Troll slayer Grum charged to help lone guards man. And the engineer took some long shots with crossbow and tripped two reiklander archers from tower. Same time dwarf reinforcements did luckily came to Reiklanders crossbow mens flank.
Last battle was taken in corner house were wizard was killed by getting shanked by crossbow mens dagger. Wizard was using flight of Zimmerman to charge against these crossbow men. Dwarf leader rushed with one hencmen in to the house. Reiklander leader and one youngblood try to take tough leader out of action, but instead dwarf leader stunned the reikland leader and took his youngblood out of action. Crossbow men tried to leaping charge but failed miserably by other getting killed falling of from the top and another failed the charge. Dwarf hencmen was usless because he tryid also climb into the building and tried leaping charge just stunning himself out. Both warband were lost over 25% of men and had to to rout test. Dwarfen guts run out more faster than Reiklanders.
Dwarfen lost wizard which was killed by crossbowman. And the Reiklanders lost crossbow man who was killed by falling of roof.
Like I said my battle report skills aint so good. Hope you liked it anyway.

Now building Mordheim: The Long House. It came from the orginal box
So here is my building without paint and it is waiting glue to dry.
This terrain piece will get some more little details before painting, but those are so minor that there is no need to take picture. These details are cutting the base and adding more sand to some points.

Yes I use black undercoat to my all models. I am planning to start using white undercoat to some models. I have the white undercoat but My other projects are on the way right now.
I think I Will get even More Better painting results with white undercoat.
To that building I used very large brush and first layer of dry brushing was the sama color as the Base paint. Then I just mixed some white to get lighter tone. There is about 3-5 layers of drybrushing.

My minds is overwhelming ideas of starting necromunda campaign. We have only one game left of Mordheim campaign. I have made trophy to campaign winner. So I will so that when the Final game is over and we have the campaign winner. Also I have done more dwarfs to painting contest... So I can't show them either after the contest is...
And I have problem.... Shall I start building new Mordheim ruin or start doing some Necromunda... I have already planned a Necromunda campaign. And I think I will do new gang. I will use the guilder rules so I can do very personal mercs for it.
Here is to do list for Necromunda:
-Gaming board 4'x4'
-New loot counters 6-10 pieces
-A gang
-Small snack shop
-Hideout, maybe a garage.
-Rebuilt the original cardboard terrain
Here is pic of old necromunda game... Ganger is spotting 3 enforcers. Can you spot them?

Battle report of Finale Game of Mordheim campaign. Scenario "Hidden Square"
Battle of Sister of Sigmar, Averlander mercenaries and Posessed. Many had hired sword to help
WARBANDS
Sister Of Sigmar. 15 Sisters and aid of Roadwarden ja Tilean Marksman.
Posessed. 8 warriors and help of Ogre and Freelance Knight
Averlandin mercenaries. 11 and half men. They had help of warlock.
STORY
Target was in the center. Statue covered with cloth. Everyone wanted to see this magical statue. Averlander deployet on left. Sister of sigmar on center and Posessed from right.
Every warband moved towards the statue using ruins as a cover.
Sister were fastest to the statue revealing the magical amazing statue... They did not had much time watch statue because posessed was charging in with knight.
Knight was fast taken out with whip. Whip tangled in the horses feet pringing poor knight down. Sisters hammered heavy armour to a new shape. New enemy was closing in. Averalnd mecenaries was right behind the.
On other part Posessed leader Otto was doing a master plan to get Roadwardens head... And he did get it. But few sister did hammer Otto down after that...
Averlander had to take down some beasts. The possessed dogs was fast slayn with halberts... But the fear causing ogre was too much. These brave Averlanders did get help from the jaegers arrows... But ogre was too tough.
Combat was tense around the statue. Sister trusted the Matriarch leadership and kept fighting against two warbans. Posessed beastmen and averlander captain joined the fight.
After long bloody hours only few sister was standing near the statue. But that was enough they had won with dignity. The Prize was theirs.
There was many other heroes and heroic actions during the day. Some warriors will be remembered others forgotten. This was only a one day in dark Mordheim. City of the Damned keeps living and only those who have been there knows what really happened there.
AFTERMATH
Sister of Sigmars winned the campaign and they did get this Monument as trophy for victory. Only one sister was killed. Sisters captured the killer of their augur. Augur was captured earlier in the campaign. Now they had change to get even. And they did. Not even blink of the eye. Posessed hero was killed in the name of fallen sister and purification on evil.
Winner also did get some paints and brush which our local gaming store sponsored.

This is awesome! I love the small skirmish games, particularly necromunda. If I'm honest I think it's the best way to be involved in the hobby, you only need a small amount of models and the game itself is nice and quick to play. Consider me a fan of you work it's always nice to see some one flying the flag for some old school favourites.

Thank you for comments! It nice to give inspiration to somebody and gives me some more motivation! I also like this small games. Gives more variation to build gangs or warbands. To me it's more important the looks and the story. I don't have motivation to paint 20 or even more similar looking troopers. I paint all my figures one by one. I like to make them unique and also learning more painting skills! Maybe I'll start painting the next model today.

Yes. I have made it with pen. It this foam board what is used on isolation on houses. I just "draw" the pattern and hardened the surface with glue and water mix before painting.

Getting a huge nostalgia trip off those Mordheim models. Agree with Briancj, the fish are a fantastic aspect of that sculpt. You've also painted them really well, they stand out from the plainer, blander colours of the clothing in a way that isn't over powering.

I also enjoy your backdrops - C3PO and R2 should probably move pretty sharpish from that cracking window!
