Currently have been working on a Skitarii Army which turned into a War Convocation. Nothing is completely finished, just a WIP. Originally rushed to get them done for a tournament and had just put 3-5 colors, inked them, and based them. Have been going back re-highlighting them. Haven't played or modeled much in the past 3-4 years and recently just gotten into it again. I need to really stop selling my Armies.
Not sure what the end of this Army will become, plan on more Vanguard, Dune Crawlers, Walkers, Robots, and 2 more Knights at least. I'm kind of at a loss for Admech as far as conversion possibilities, I'm sure there are many I just don't like the way the parts go together, makes it hard for conversions. I love to convert, as you can see below had to convert some more arc rifles! I always somehow drift from Warhammer 40k but hopefully this time is different, my wife has gotten into Harlequins.
The back story is they are investigating a STC at a nearby Necron Tomb World. Original concept was investigating a nearby Chaos inhabited planet by the Eye of Terror that was being controlled by a Sorcerer mutating the area turning it green as an illusion to draw people there.
Overview of the Army on my painting table.
Another shot of the Army. Just won an auction for a new Icarus Autocannon for the Knight above, I kind of butchered it when I took it off for a tournament, so I am magnetizing the turret this time. I'm a firm believer in WYSIWYG.
Originally was my Warlord with the Servo Arm he is still kind of a work in progress.
Not happy with how the Destroyers turned out going to start reworking them.
I will be working on some more Destroyers, the 6th Breacher and a Culexus next. Plus I will be magnetizing and working on another Knight that I just picked up!

Great looking army . We'll probably be needing some CUs to appreciate the difference when you start adding highlights and extra details.
They're an excellent table top standard considering the time it took you to paint.

Thank you, yes I will definitely have to take close ups tonight! I was working on my Culexus assassin last night after I finished my Knight up with his magnetizing.
Here is a top picture of him. I am not that great at painting Red. When I did Blood Angels I had to do Flesh Tearers because my Red was so bad. Hence why I didn't do a Mars Pattern army! My friend taught me how to paint white. I really like how it turned out and am quite proud. First attempt at using big decals, I ruined the first decal set and luckily my LGS hooked me up with another set for free! That is why I do at least 80-90% of my buying at my LGS.
My Illness grew with my Admech doubled my Destroyers and finished the last Breacher. My regret was not magnetizing my Destroyers and Breachers. Dominus is very much still a work in progress, he is on the side block for now though.
Going to finish my Culexus tonight. Yes close ups and a better back drop. My Photoshop skills are non existent. Automatically Appended Next Post:

Spent Sunday afternoon after I played a 750 Point game magnetizing my old Knights arm joints with the new Knights weapon arms rather than building him. Got the inspiration from someone on the forum doing a commission Knight with all the weapons magnetized. Magnetized at the joint, only thing I could not magnetize was the Thermal Cannon but I do not forsee me ever using it. Only regret was trading my original Knights additional weapon sprue away. Thank goodness for Ebay I guess! Not done but getting there, not happy with how the Stormspear Missile Pod turned out and going to have to touch it up tonight and highlight.
Next project is slowly building my other Knight and spending time actually painting him in stages. Have a game coming up on Sunday against Guard.

Been busy at work but took a picture of my small army I'll be playing tomorrow, I'll take more pictures of my second knight done! My Baron which I haven't decided a name for yet!

Cool. I know the pain/regret of not magnetising weapon options. I now magnetise everything, but the biggest problem with that is it increases time to finish models by a factor of 10...I'd still say it's worth it though.
Judging from your basing going to be a woodland /forest display board?

Post by: Spacewolverine
Yes, Necron Tomb world will be done, they need to find the STC rumored on the world!
Got the idea from Fritz on youtube. Cork Board glue a piece of Art Card board over it.
Added flock after it dried over night.
Still WIP definitely, shook off the board this morning, I'm still in the process of reflocking, a lot of it came off so touching it up. After its done adding trees and Necron scarabs to it. I was going to buy a Monolith and cut the top off it to have it sticking up off the ground but atm just will not happen.

Post by: Gitsplitta
Made a very generic display board out of a cork board frame just like that and a cheap wooden lazy-susan I picked up from Wal-Mart. Works great and the lazy susan can be re-positioned on the base and spun to show off the models on display.
280
Post by: Spacewolverine
That is a great idea Gitsplitta, I may have to do that.
Finished up my Display Board last night and this morning! Turned out great, have it segmented for each Detachment in the War Convocation. Not sure I have room for the Scarabs like I was originally going to do, we will see tonight. Took forever to cover up lose patches though. Decided to go picture happy with my Army I'm taking this weekend to a Tournament.
Whole Army!
Vanguard with my converted Phosphoenix
Infiltrators
Runestalkers
Dominus and his band of Kataphron Destroyers. Not happy with how his Hood turned out, I used 3 layers/shading of red.
Rangers
Dune Crawler and Ironstrider
My Baron Knight!

Thanks, I appreciate it Gitsplitta! I hope it does, and wish I was a better photographer just took some snap shots on the way into work. Took 2 1/2 days to complete the board and my what a pain. Joked with my Wife not sure I will be doing that again. Lessons learned though, stain it next time and do that first. Then base coat the board before applying flock covering up white is such a pain .

I really like the use of actual pieces of wood... I may have to try that myself some day.

Post by: Spacewolverine
Its some kind of cured wood, I bought my original pack for my Flames of War guys 8-9 years ago at a train shop and it never warped, changed colors or anything. I found the same thing recently at Hobby Lobby, it is called Dead Fall and brand is Woodland scenics.
I always have loved the way dead logs look on bases.

Tournament was a absolute blast. I'd never played Necrons... Boy I made some silly deployments and moves against him. Went 1/1/1. Was a blast though. Played Blood Angels my first game won, played Necrons my second lost, tied my last game against Khorne Daemonkin.
Think I'm going to start working on a Monster Robot Mash now. Have to buy 6 Robots, 3 more destroyers and another Dominus. Gotta figure out a good Army list for it.
I was reminded today why I played 40k. Have not had this much fun since 3rd Edition!

Congratulations on the tournament and the excellent army, it is always great to see more Ad Mech goodness. This is one of the larger painted armies I have seen on Dakka.
It will be great to see some Kastellans added to the army. Points wise they are expensive but in game they can be vicious. Personally I love the miniatures too, I have 4 of them myself.

Have not gotten around to anything I've wanted to really. Have been changing my one Ironstrider in the list to have a TL Lascannon and I have been working on matching my whites on the Knights. Drove me nuts at the tournament. Took me the past 2 days to match the whites then added more battle damage. Have to come up with a new Knight Crest... (Long story short..... Accidentally got white on a decal and could not wash it off until the decal cracked.... Go figure OCD me) Going to be going to Hobby Lobby and buying some Cogs and using the Admech symbols in the Knight boxes inside the Cog on the shields. Tired of working on the Knights but eh... Its fun! Stompy! Protos now is The Ripper and my Baron finally has a name... Baron Boomer!
Together, not the best shot but you can see the whites!
Protos the Ripper! Much happier with how he turned out!
Baron Boomer! Very pleased with his paint job.
I am not the best painter but quite happy with how these turned out.
Won an ebay auction for another Stormspear Rocket Pod and Meltagun, not sure if they will go on The Ripper or not!
Thanks for the comments and it is good to be back. Little one has been keeping my wife and I quite busy, so much for getting some Kastellans atm!
Also.... My wife did paint her first Harlequin!

Have re-fallen in love with going straight Skitarii to focus on. Bought a Dragoon, ordered another and won an auction for another Aquebus.
Wife did me a favor and combined my rule books and codex's into a binder for me then tabbed it out! Never did post it before but she did it for that last tournament I was playing. Her awesome cover she did for my binder!
Work bench last night.
Couldn't sleep last night so I assembled the Dragoon I bought. I still have to clean it up though.
Group shot of whats complete of my Skitarii minus the one Aquebus and 2 Dragoons. Going to have to figure a new way to display and needing to make a light box.
Wife continuing to work on her Harlequins! Obviously still WIP!
She is much more daring then me, I've always stayed away from checkering.

I still have 2 Landspeeders and 2 Storm Talons to assemble. Then 15 Tacticals and 5 Devs but cannot do much till my FW order comes in.
280
Post by: Spacewolverine
Have the Storm Talons and Landspeeders assembled now, glass cockpits aren't glued in just there so I don't lose them. I was shocked at how snug the weapon options for the Storm Talons fit, did not need to magnetize them like I was originally going to.
List will be interesting to run, I can see running variants of it because I think it will get boring and one dimensional after 3-4 games. Hindsight is always fun! Hopefully my FW orders come in this week so I can finish up the tacticals, devastators and not have so many headless and shoulder padless marines.

Got a nice surprise, FW stuff came ahead of what I expected! Then my wife washed, cleaned and sorted them for me while I was at work. Realized I should of bought more brass etching and a decal sheet. Though I may just use the smaller brass ravens for the scouts.
Tomorrow night will be putting together the Tacticals and the Devastators finally! I was super happy my wife was like just start putting the rest together and stop worrying about your FW shipment. Made tonight a lot more fun and easier putting the shoulder pads and helmets on.

But I'm a crazy impatient gamer... LOL

Look great man! I started up on my tacticals first. My problem is this: I prime black which rocks to get everything the color it's supposed to be, but then moving forward getting everything to not look lame matte black is tough. I tried a light grey drybrush to pick out the details on my first 5 tacticals and it helped. Also, the texture paint I'm using to base with a nice drybrush looks awesome. Are you going to put color markings on the assault marines? I'm doing 4th company so all my guys will have green trim, but I know assault marine squads in Raven Guard have red on the pads, so I'm going to have to figure out a way to get that into my models too.
SO MANY DETAILS
Good show boss! Super jealous of the storm talons. I think that's my next formation I'm going to build is the raptor wing, then the shadowstrike team and then skyhammer to finish it off. What are you thoughts on land speeder storms for the scouts? Proxied some and it worked decently well actually.
280
Post by: Spacewolverine
@Castellan Alaric - No idea on storms. I am going to buy Scout Bikers next. I will be putting color markings eventually when I get done moving around my Heavy weapons and find a list I like.
Got to play with them today. Still no bases but at least look decent on the table. I fell in love with the models today while I was playing. Really a blast from the past to be honest due to the beakies and studded shoulder pads.
Next up detailing and I cannot decide on bases. I wanted to do the slate but I'm almost thinking of my normal static grass and brown gravel basing material to make the models pop. If I go with the Slate they are complete black and grey with it.
Here are pictures I took after gaming on my painting table again. They still need a lot of loving. Just happy I could feel comfortable gaming with them! Won both times but we're tough.

@Bash the Bosh - Appreciate it, the head just spoke to me, reminded me of Corvax pictures in 40k artwork.
@EDC - Thanks, I have been seriously contemplating that, I want to keep it looking like Raven wings and not Angel wings. I need to figure out a way to make them stand out more. Maybe more light gray highlights on the edges and tips of the feathers.
92434
Post by: Castellan Alaric
Looking awesome! Will you run them as those relic claws from the new kayoun book? Swiftstrike and murder just sound so cool. I'd agree some more contrast on his wings would be nice - some grey edge highlighting could work solid, or my solution would be a nice delicate drybrush to pick out the edges of the feathers. I'm a fan of keeping the RG simple. They are subtle in the armor ornamentation, which I'm trying to figure out how to keep that theme there without my models looking super flat. I'll probably wash most most of my colors I put on them black to keep them 'stealthier' lol
Love the progress boss! I'm kind of in hobby shut-down until after the holidays. I had a real big push to finish assembling my pinion company, but until I get my BaC box from Christmas I'm kind of indifferent to painting :/ Also the weather down here has been so back and forth I can't pin down a day to prime. Muggy/rainy/70 one day and dry/cold/45 the next...oh the joys of "winter" in Texas.
Keep up the good work!

Post by: Spacewolverine
@Castellan Alaric - Yes I will be running them as Swiftstrike and Murder!
Have a 1800 tournament the begining of January I am preparing for and touching up my Raven Guard. Still have to do my Stormtalons and Landspeeders, have been putting it off.
I broke and redid the wings as all of you suggested. I love the way they turned out and hopefully added depth. I kept reworking the front of my Captain as I don't know how but people always think he's just another Vanguard or Vet Sergeant.
My list for the tournament will be -
Pinion Demi Company
Captain Vansh - JP, Swiftstrike and Murder
2x5 Tacticals - Lascannon
5 Tacticals - Plasma Gun
5 Sniper Scouts - Camo Cloaks
5 Devastators - 4 Plasma Cannons
5 Assault Marines - Sgt w/ Power Axe (Chaplain Edgar and Vansh will go here)
Raptorwing
2x Raptors w/ Skyhammer
1 Landspeeder w/ Heavy Bolter
Stealth Kill Team
2x 5 CCW Scouts - Melta Bomb in LSS w/ Heavy Flames
3x5 Vanguard - 3 LC, 2 SS, 2 Power Axes, 1 PF
Strike Force Command
Chaplain Edgar - Ravens Fury, Melta Bomb
Play testing has gone well so far. Struggle against high AV and gargantuans but that's to be expected.
Hope yall enjoy the update!

@War Kitten - Thanks, what happens when you have insomnia and a model idea in your head!
@lipsdapips- Thanks for your kind words, you were one of my inspirations. I agree on the wings but I want to keep it dark.
@Thraxas Of Turai - Thanks, I love Raven Guard and there fluff. The turning hand of starting Raven Guard was I loved Edgar Allan Poes Poems, I was Artillery in the Army and a lot of people don't know but Edgar was a Artillery Sergeant Major.
@EDC - Thanks again, I wish Army shots turned out better.
Work in progress are Centurions and a Storm Raven. Arguably Centurions aren't too fluffy but I think air dropping them from a Storm Raven is plenty fluffy.

Raven Guard Centurians are a great addition. Any thoughts on maybe some Grav-chutes or external dampners to add to the idea of these guys doing a sort of low-altitude jump into position?

Post by: Spacewolverine
@Bash the Bosh - No I don't because the Raven deepstrikes and they unload out of it. That is a good idea for future though.
I got carried away and accidentally painted my Sternguard I kitbashed going through bits... Hope y'all enjoy!

Has been a good Christmas break, was helping my folks clean and start remodeling their house. Santa was good to me, some forgeworld and enough Landspeeders to do 3 Typhoons, Biker scouts and more scouts.
Hope you enjoy my WIP Bikers and Captain! Have to finish them up by Saturday have a 1800 point tournament and decided I wanted to change out the assault marines for bikes.

Realized it's been awhile since I updated my blog. I went 2-1 in the tournament I attended, had a lot of fun. Key points I took away were 650+ points in reserve is a bad idea. One game the Storm raven, centurions and dread did not arrive till the final turn. Will be making changes to my list. Have been working on Librarians lately.
First set of pictures are my finished bikers and the last is a very WIP of my Librarians.

Ouch rough on the reserves, One trick that has helped me in the past is including an aegis defence line with the comm's array, it adds +1 to reserve rolls and really help bring in the reserves. Also the defence line is great for hiding tanks behind to get a cover save, I think its 50p base and 20p for the comm's array.
Food for thought?

@Gitsplitta - Thanks so much. Appreciate it, a lot of money and kitbashing went into them.
@Knightley - I wish I could but want to keep the Talon Strike Force, lack of points in the Army for one. It is a good idea though if I ever run a CAD + Detatchments.
Worked on my Librarians more this afternoon, I am falling more and more in love with them. They were free to make just kitbashed old bits. In the process of moving atm so my work space is a tray and working outside, at my in laws. However painting is something that relaxes me greatly, so I make do.

Post by: Spacewolverine
@Gitsplitta - Thanks, an old friend in Ohio taught me how to add depth to black when I first started to toy with the idea of doing Raven Guard.
Working on my last 20 Tacticals while I wait on an order from Forgeworld. Plan on doing 20 more Assault Marines and 5 Vanguard. Still need to assemble two Landspeeders and paint about 20 scouts. Pardon my work bench it's pretty cluttered at the moment. BoC box did not help. When these 20 are done and I finish redoing the devastator squad will have a almost full strength Pinion and Demi Company.

May I introduce the WIP of Stompy number II. My current Dread will be moved to my Demi Company and this one will take it's place in my Ravenhawk Assault Group. The goal by the end of the year is to buy 9 Drop Pods and possibly 4 Land speeder storms for the army, not that unrealistic of a goal just will be boring assembling and painting. Then possibly a Command squad on bikes for my Demi Company, I loved how the command squad for my Pinion came out. I spent yesterday putting Tactical, Dev, Assault marine markings on shoulder pads. Reminded why I hate Decals on curved surfaces so much. I'll take and upload pictures later.

@EDC - I wish I had of taken pictures. It was my first GT, I knew about a quarter of the people there. Saw a friend I hadn't seen since my second deployment which was awesome to catch up!
My first game was against a Lions Blade company, first two turns I could hit but couldn't penetrate, was awful. Multiple grenade attacks and rolling 2 1's to wound against his sergeant killed my Gorkanaut in Close combat. Same exact scenario with my CC dreads. Full BS grav overwatch was death to my Dreads as well. Was awful, opponent was great but dice killed me. I knew I was in for a long day when first game my tape measure broke.
Second game vs Eldar and a reaver titan. He seized initiative I was bunched up, 4 D Templates killing half my army and both Morkanauts pretty much game over after turn 2.
Third game vs Grey Knights, I was unfamiliar with Dread knights, made the mistake of charging single dreads and pop they go then after that charging my morkanauts and remaining dread and it was just ugly. Lucky pen rolls blew them up etc.
Fourth game vs Salamanders and Nemises Strike Force. My dice had returned but I got overwhelmed at the end by his 4 Storm Talons. Epic fight was my Mega Armor Big Mek getting out to fix a kan klaw then charging his librarian and killing him was epic!
Fifth game vs Ultra Company he seized intiative and switcherooed his scouts that infiltrated with his death star and librarian conclave and charged turn 1... I couldn't roll pens or wounds. The sides were almost unpassable and created a choke point for my Dreads and kans to get to him. Was awful again.
I had a blast at the tournament. I've made a lot of tweaks. Learned a lot, I had only played this army 3 times before the GT. I went to have fun and fun I had. I had never faced Dark Angels, Eldar or Grey Knights. D3 HOW Attacks are awesome and 'ere we go saved me on a lot of failed charges.
Finished adding more base coat to the arms and head of the Stompa.

@Gisplitta- Thanks, not exactly what probably came to mind when I posted the WIP.
Last night my wife came to me and said she was embarrassed of her painting and wanted me to touch up her models. I am trying to keep her original work intact so I am going to use it as a base coat basically. She has about 1500 points of Harlequins. Nice break from Orks. I have never painted any Eldar, Dark Eldar or Harlequins. They are The Dreaming Shadow.
First thing I wanted to do was add a dual tone to the Starweavers and Skyweavers. Picture is a WIP.

Ah, now there is a worthy project. Give her your best effort my friend but still leave her pride in tact.

Post by: Spacewolverine
@Gisplitta- Yes indeed, I have never painted pretty before.
This is going to be more of a WIP than the rest of my blog. When I get so enthralled in models I forget to go step by step. This is more of a side project and labor of love. Someone wanted me to commission paint a Knight and I turned it down because I do not paint bright Red like captain america...
So my WIP so far are the dual colors on her weavers. These models are beautiful, I did not realize how amazing they were when I started. Next phase is getting inking done and highlighting. I'm debating what colored ink on the teal. I'm thinking a green ink because I want it to be a green/teal effect. I have to figure out what to do with the Shurikan Cannons. She wants to keep them Gold which I'm going to do but maybe paint the backs a different color.
I did both a flash and non flash. So y'all can get an idea. She isn't a bad Painter, in some ways I envy her work since she has only been painting for the last year. As I said before, going to keep most her work just do some duel tones and clean up and highlight.

Tournament was a blast went 1-2, should of gone 2-1 but it's my fault I forgot to move a dread 6" back to an objective last turn.
First game emperors will was epic, one of my favorite people to play. He was running sisters in MM Imolators with lots of melta squads with a Knight Crusader and Knight Warden. Game was a blast, pretty much mutual destruction. Knight Warden failed the charge against my Stompa, Stompa the following turn tried to retreat and rolled 4", didn't even make it to the ruins. So I charged and killed it. Got lucky and he missed with all his attacks. Blew up and scatter to his other knight and did a hull point. Would of been awesome if I rolled a 6. Following turn the Crusader and Stompa basically killed each other with the help of Morkanauts. Lost 5-8
Next game, Relic against 6 Flying Hive Tyrants. He killed everything but my Stompa first two turns. I did nothing but kill a few venom thropes and warriors. Took the Stompa and moved him on top of the relic so his tyrants couldn't get it. They couldn't kill the Stompa by the end of the game. Lost 5-7.
Last game was against Daemons. After I grounded his princes and fate weaver I killed him with hammer of wrath attacks. Charged his invis fearless star who couldn't hurt my Morkanauts and just stayed locked. Won 13-0.
Didn't get many pics of the second game due to how fast I was dying and the last game his models weren't painted so didn't bother taking pics. Big Mek Stompa definitely helped a lot. Had a blast and lotsa fun! Won best painted/sportsmanship but obviously could only win one or the other for prizes.

Our team Mascot was our son, he was a Warlord Titan, anything that he grabbed was automatically destroyed (Just kidding we never put him on the table). Was Eldar, Harlequins and my Orks vs Space Marines and Wolves. We lost heavily, the Wolves just ripped apart everything they touched. The objective in the middle gave anyone within 18" +1 to their dice rolls... Wolves with 2++ was killer.... Didn't matter friend got to bring his toys and we had fun!
Tomorrow have a game vs Goatboy then next week off to a local 2k ITC!

Today had a epic game vs Goatboy. I always lose against him but I learn a lot with my Dread Mob and we always manage to laugh to death. Last game I overheated 3 hull points and 4 hull points on my Morkanauts, today I hit every turn with Gaze of Mork but rolled 1s every turn on the D table, my count as Buzzgob is now named Bane'ov'gaze. His Tzeench Daemon Prince put a scar on my poor grot too today.
Seeing a post on the general discussion had to copy and paste what I put there.
"Literally just got done painting corruption scar of Tzeench on a lone grot from a game this afternoon. He survived soul blaze made his toughness check, then rallied with snake eyes and still rallied back to the emperors will objective. Then died heroicly to a Tzeench Daemon Prince. Funniest stuff ever, while the other almost full squad of grots broke and ran off the table."

Looks like a great game! Great to see so many nicely painted figures doing battle on the tabletop.

When the Ironjawz came out I knew I'd start buying into AoS. The Maw-Krusha is such a beautiful model I had to get it. Here is a WIP shot of my as I call it Mamaw Dragon.

Dragon is looking cool. Nice idea with the scarring on the grot, I love it when people add details to characters from in game stuff.

@Gisplitta- Thank you, it was actually an experiment and it paid off big time.
@EDC - Thank you, yes it was something I use to do as a teen, going to start doing it again, adds so much character and added fluff.
Finished the Mamaw Dragon just now. He is by far the best figure I have ever painted and pics don't do him justice, I will have to do a photoshoot for him because I am super proud of him, without the flash.

Super Proud of my Dread Mob today. Practicing has helped and games under my belt has helped. Got second place today at our local ITC tournament. Got a picture thought I took more of the first game guess I didn't. The other two armies were not fully painted so I didn't take pictures.
First game was tough against the same Flyrant list as last time I faced him. This time I split my Army into two parts and focus fired his hive Tyrants. Still lost 2-9 but had a blast.
Second game I survived the first turn of bombardment against Astra Militarum, my 2 Deff Kannon shots a turn just destroyed his tanks leaving my Killa Kans and Dreads supported by the Morkanauts to a crushing win 11-0.
Last game was against Salamanders which I felt very confident against due to not fearing the flamers and his drop pods melta went for my Stompas. Ended up killing everything to a man, won 7-4. Was a great game.
Learning my Morkanauts are supporting and keeping my Dreads in front with my Kans on the flanks helped enormously. When ITC starts using the 40k FAQ my Dread Mob will only get stronger as the biggest loss was to a million Krak grenades.

It looks good, but I can tell the photos aren't doing it justice. Looking forward to some better pics.
I really like the bone tail, it looks great.

@EDC - Thanks, always a struggle to get good pics.
I've been working on a looted Contemptor and putting tracks on my Morkanaut. So far a success, some WIP shots of my Contemptor and finishing up my tracked Morkanaut.

The contemptor looks great! Very Orky. The tracked 'naught as well, those stumpy legs never looked right to me.

@Oguhmek - Thank you, I like the legs, need one because I'm working on a looted Knight next.
Finished the looted contemptor tonight. Very happy with how he turned out! Think he's my favorite now in my Ork army.

I blame Battle bots for this conversion, I have two more sets of tracks on the way and 3 Sentinels for my other Kan conversions.... Hope y'all enjoy! My converting side of me is coming out with a vengeance.

@EDC- Thanks it's something I've discussed for a long time and finally putting words to modelingredients.
@Anpu-adom- Thanks! I cannot wait till they are painted up either.
Waiting on a track resupply coming in tomorrow. I've been working on the commanda for em! Took an hour to cut out the hatch without breaking the plastic but the end result was worth it. Claw looks a little silly but who cares! He has to compensate....
I am getting them ready for Wargames Con at the end of the month.

Nice work! I think I like the look of these better than the actual kan models. Keep it up!

@Anpu-adom- Thanks, it's never stealing, it's looting!
@Novasetri- Thanks! I like them much better too!
Finished my Kan Sentinels, hope y'all enjoy, they were fun but a pain to convert! I always have loved the Sentinelist Models and it's one thing I regret never buying for my guard back in the day but back then they were pewter. The hunter killer missiles and missile launchers are just too cool not to use.

@Ustrello- Thanks and I kind of agree but maybe he's looking at a Space Marine to krump?
@EDC - Thanks for the kind words, I try to make Gork and Mork proud!
@Gisplitta- Thanks and yes I have been! Wargames Con is coming up. I really want to do some more tracked Kans but I want them all to be unique, thinking Kataphron Breachers for base models next...
Finished both Knights, they are fully magnetized! I am very pleased how they turned out and hope y'all enjoy. I am working on painting the avenging gatling cannons now....

@EDC - Thanks! A lot of work went into them, took about 20-30 hours each.
@Knightly - Thank you! I try!
I've been practicing for wargames con lately. Here is a WIP of my looted Kastelan Deff Dread! Also Gitsplitta, I did get some Kataphron to convert and hopefully in time for wargames. I also am going to be working on a Morka Knight. Everything but the torso and joints will be from the Morka and the torso and joints will be from the Knight. Excited for bits to arrive!

Superbot was popular this weekend at our local ITC. Encouragement led to these next set of conversions. Some pictures of Morkabot 9000 as he is very much WIP, I already assembled him and added to bits on him because I was worried how he would turn out. Once I finish him, this army will be 100% converted. I'll take army pictures. Gitsplitta this is for you with the Kataphrons!
