Ex nihilo

Its a very well painted mini. VERY well.
I do have some concerns regarding the claim of master level though, as there are a few elementary mistakes.

Just in the last picture:
1) The spike on the end of the haft of the hammer. On the underside, there is a clear image of a dark bump about 1mm from the tip of the spike. It appears to be a paint globule that dried and then was applied to the model.

2) Looking from behind, the left jet engine. Near the outside of the engine, about 1/4 of the distance from the left there is a line delineating parts of the engine. Just to the left of there this line makes contact with the bottom of the inside diameter of the engine housing is a spot of brown that bled into the black.

3)On the basing, there is a white mark on the circular piece of equipment the marine is standing on. No other white marks occur on the base, so it appears to be a fleck that dripped from a white wash.

Don't get me wrong. This is an extremely well painted model, far beyond my talents. But master level has no mistakes.

Yeah I think the paint job looks great. The only criticism I have is I don't really like the pose, he looks like he's stepping off of the rifle or whatever that is rather than leaping off of it.

My thoughts exactly.

Plus the SENMM lines on the backpack are wrong, they are inconsistent with the ones on the hammer, although nicely painted, it stands out like a sore thumb.

The model is superbly painted, though the pose is very wrong for the base. The highlighting on the right wrist seems a little strange as well, as with the white on the jump pack. It just looks a little...odd.

I do have a problem with you giving it the title of "master-level" though. I hate when people give those kind of titles to their own mini's. It's not up to you, but everyone else to decide if what you painted is "master" level or not.

Ouch you guys are harsh lol. Excellent job painting. The only thing I would change is the exaust of the jet pack....make that puppy glow!

Why is the right jetpack exhaust smooth while the left is a Dalek from Dr Who?
