HQ:
CCS:
Vox, Grenade launcher x3, Chimera (HF)

TROOPS:
PCS
Flamer x4, Chimera (HF)

Infantry Squads (4) (combined)
2 missile launchers, 2 autocannons, 4 grenade launchers, vox, Commissar with power sword (probably use the commissar lord model)

Vet Squad (A)
3 grenade launchers, autocannon, Chimera (HF)

Vet Squad (B)
Demo, 3 meltas, autocannon, chimera (HF)

FAST ATTACK:
Scout Sentinels (3)
1)+Autocannon
2)+Autocannon
3)+Lascannon

HEAVY SUPPORT:
Leman Russ Vanquisher
Pask, Lascannon

Leman Russ Executioner
Lascannon, Plasma Sponsons, Heavy stubber

TOTAL:
1500

If I want to roll with 2 Squads and 2 commissars, I would remove the heavy stubber from the executioner, the autocannons in the vets, and remove the power sword from the initial commissar. Something to think about

To better explain my deployment, here is a visual:
.......................VetA
............ PCS Sentinels VetB
.......................CCS
Pask ............... Blob.............Executioner

This is a list I was designing for a project when I am done my Grey Knights. I have shown this list to a lot of people, and they like it. Does the internet?

I just don't know how well this list will work, personally.

Grenade Launchers are sub-optimal. I will say there can be a use for it, but your first option should be plasma and melta guns on BS 4 troops. On BS 3, I support flamers as an option (no roll to hit, yo). GLs are a last resort in my mind because Str 6 or a Str 3 frag on a BS 3 guy are practically worthless. Though if your down to 5pts on that defensive blob and your planning on rocking that 36" range, I can dig it. Just do not waste special weapons slots, as I consider them the backbone of IG infantry.

Also note the same thing kinda applys for HWTs. If that is not a AC or Lascannon, it is sub par as well, specially when most of the shots will be at BS 3. Sure, I can think of a special role for a ML, but that is 5 extra points your spending when it could be a AC, targeting the same units that you would with the ML.

The idea behind a blob is determind which type of blob your using, offensive or defensive. You then make sure at least one Commissar per blob, max out power swords for melee, give them a good special weapon (I suggest meltas for short range AT), max number of Melta Bombs for AT/Walker defence, and then heavy weapons for a defensive blob because they are static defending something, like Artillery. I can totally see using plasma on static defensive blobs to make use of the range and rapid fire ability (to go with those rapid fire lasguns), but I feel you can't go wrong with meltas.

The Voxs are optional, but you have to fail a Ld 10 roll for Orders due to the Commissar, which is pretty slim. Only use Voxs if your Order heavy and have points to spare. Course, you fail that, you lose a sergeant (and all of his gear). You can't re-roll a single roll more than one time, but it depends on how it is rules in your area...can you use the vox before the Commissar, or do you have to use the Commissar's re-roll first.

20 man blobs work fine. Two blobs give you an extra scoring unit (since your at 4 now) and splits their fire that is otherwise concentrated on one target.

Know the roles of the units... Your Executioner for example... it is for heavy Infantry. Why put a Lascannon on it when your other weapons are Str 7? Save 15pts and leave the HB on it... they roll a 1 and they are dead. The heavy stubber really dove tails with this mentality (just put hits on them and make them roll saves), but only if you have points to spare. Do note that to fire your sponsons, your not moving. Many conside this a near death sentence as melee attacks on you now are auto-hits on your AV 10 rear armor.

I like Pask, but he has target written all over him and his tank. His tanks usally do not live long. Just keep this in mind...

As for your Scout Sentinals, the Lascannon single shot at BS 3 is less than ideal. If your going to keep them, go AC or bust. I have seen people put heavy flamers on them, but the range is just soooo short it makes my teeth hurt on a AV 10 vehicle. I just find it hard to believe the dang things live long enough to get in range.

Demolitions are fine, but a lone unit in a Chimera (so all your using is the demo charge and not the melta bombs) feels like a waste. For 35pts more, you have Marbro and a surgical strike use of a demo charge. This will do what you want to do, just much better.

In a Order heavy list, I will be the first to suggest Creed, Kell, and/or a Lord Commissar. If your rocking the HWSs, all 3 can be incredibily helpful as Kell (Regimental Standard)and the Lord (Aura of Discipline) do two different things concerning morale for those units, and Creed can make them twin linked for vehicles and Monsterous Creatures, beside having a 24" Order range and 4 Orders a turn. Giving Camo Cloaks to your CCS and the Lord and throwing a Lascannon in your CCS (for a BS 4 weapon) can be a solid unit in the back. Filling it out with Plasmas can make it pretty well rounded unit.

As for the PCS, I think your in the right track there. As an option you can drop it down to 3x Flamers and a Heavy Flamer for 20pts. They can be pretty brutal on burning out most camping units (either way) and are scoring on top of it.

Good luck, I hope this has giving you some food for thought.

i actually hate vanquishers, even though they are so cool in concept they usually horribly under perform in games. if you can get your hands on them i think three hydras are pretty much the same points. also i would say change the rgenade launchers in the vets to more meltas. having two deadly melta vet squads is much more intimidating than one. i actually do like the auto cannons in there though as it adds more versitility. and maybe auto cannon in the ccs? i gather he will be chilling back throwing orders around so why not let him reach out and say hi to people by himself
