Well the rules say it is only a psyker some of the time.

Noted in the Quote:
"A vehicle with this special rule is treated as being a psyker (Mastery level 1) and Leadership 10 for the purposes of Psychic tests and psychic hoods."

Very clear ruling IMO. Sometimes.

Only some of the time, as its rule states

Pretty much everything in GK is a psyker when it wants/needs to be, then can magically not be when my Crucible of Malediction comes out.

The rule seems quite specific as to when it is a psyker, so those would be the only times it counts as a psyker. Not for the Culexus or anything along those lines, just the times that the rule itself states.

Ha this whole argument is mute anyway, GW is changing the FAQ to state this fix, "Q what is a psyker?" "A a psyker is any model using a psychic power, with either taking a test or not due to extrodinary ability. At anypoint has the ability to test for a psychic ability, or has this in the models special rules makes that model a psyker for any weapon that targets psykers."

Im a little hung over sorry, but a friend of mine is accountant that works at GW, he said when I asked him that it seems if there is any misunderstanding in the rules thishappens, so they have a fix along with someother fixs like aword change to crowes sword master, its does allow his CF to rend because hes a bad ass.

Accountant at GW? US or UK?

UK, for anyone who wants to know im a soldier in the US army, this guy was a Brit solider that got me into this game. He finished college or what ever they call it for business and applyed for the job, he works as a adjustar for some of the writers. He used to see Phill Kelly in the break room but they move to another partof the building once they changed there structure of where the writers work.

Depends on if you read the rule:

as:

A vehicle with this special rule is treated as being a psyker (Mastery level 1).
A vehicle with this special rule is treated as Leadership 10 for the purposes of Psychic tests and psychic hoods.

or:

A vehicle with this special rule is treated as being a psyker (Mastery level 1) for the purposes of Psychic tests and psychic hoods.
A vehicle with this special rule is treated as Leadership 10 for the purposes of Psychic tests and psychic hoods.

A legitimate case can be made for either reading.

I suspect the intended reading is the second, and is how I would play it.

Another question i have about grey knight rhinos is is draigo strength 10 against them. On a similar topic, would mindshackle scaracs make draigo strength 10 against himself....

I can see that going either way actually. On the one hand he is attacking a unit with a psyker. On the other hand, he's technically just hitting them.

Draigo is not S10 against a rhino, because it isnt a psyker when he hits them.

MSS would make him S10, as "instead of attacjking normally" he hits himself D3 times, making this his attack

Gotta go with nos on the S10 against himself, and in regards to the FAQ you are hinting at, it has no bearing until its in print anyway. Right?

I nearly doubled over in laughter when I read this line. I'm sure the accountants have a lot to do with the FAQs, probably also why sometimes GW gets the rules guys to balance the books every once in a while.

Maybe not the FaQ's, but with the way the rules are written I would not be surprised if they had the accountants giving us some of the ambiguous rules that we see in the BRB.
