I'd say this is even a better reason to make them more alien, to distance themselves from a rather fantasy cliché.

It's a game that's based upon anime cliches, for good or bad.

Yeah I can understand this. I just think they look so awesome I don't care

Very cool Alpharius, was that one just a case of getting the icon and taking it to a t-shirt printers?

I asked CB nicely if I could get the artwork larger so I could make a shirt, and they politely responded with "Yes, as long as it is just for you." and I was off and running!

I've got the Bolt logo the same way, so I'll have that shirt soon too!

I'm considering airbrushing the moderator logo onto a shirt to wear to gencon, but i've got a lot to do in the next month so it may just get forgotten.

Oh man, I didn't think about sending it out to get done. I figured you have a Silkscreen Machine or something hiding in Mass.

Time to get a price quote! Shirt all the things!

Haha, well for me it would be more a chance to play with the airbrush, i was thinking of doing a flat version of that weird kind of rounded shape they have on their backs, and maybe some other details too, but that isn't a bad idea in general!

Any idea when we'll see tikbalang, seraph, or uhlan tags?
Would they be 3 individual kits? Or one box that'll many any one?

Also any chance we'll get new invincibles HI for Yu jing?

Is that a natural 21?

To answer the question, it seems "mañana" But tomorrow never comes :( The concept art is ready for all of them, but I wouldn't expect to see any of them until September at the earliest.

I prefer the old ones. Alien virus showing disturbing results when interacted with human physiology, now they're just fantasy werewolves. They do look fine from technical standpoint, they simply look generic.

Now that you mention it, they do remind me a bit of Confrontation's Wolfen. Although these are much nicer.

I didn't see anything wrong with the shirt you were wearing in that picture, but I'm now looking forward to the next picture, and the next shirt!

I know someone who asked for concept art etc for a cosplay project and CB was quite generous.

CB are quite nice about letting folks use the artwork, as long as you ask nicely. I hope that never changes. So go ahead and ask. The worst that will happen is they say 'no'.

Looks like MAS will be releasing a 'mousepad style' battle mat (4' x 4') for INFINITY soon?

Bonus - diagonal roads!

It borrows heavily from established concepts and pays homage to the certain degree, but until recently it wanted to be somewhat unique.

CB does want to be the new Rackham. Wolfen are a bit old miniatures, they were stellar in their own time.

Now, I wouldn't mind if they also released one to replace the paper mat that's coming with Operation Icestorm. I might consider picking up that MAS mousepad though for Deadzone. I'm glad to see these things seem to be increasing in popularity.

That mat looks fantastic, going to be a great option for club gaming so I don't have to lug around MDF with me!

Has anyone read any news on release date or a price?

I think it's an artifact of how they're printed or cut from the material. Even the mat in my Deadzone box has rounded corners instead of square cuts.

Actually, it looks like Beasts of War have the mat with them on their weekender show. If anyone has their Backstage access and would like to report back on their comments, would be very appreciated!

It's really nice, but the only thing is, isn't your scenery gonna look the same every game if you follow the printed surface?

They have it indeed, and they like it. I think the normal Weekender videos don't need a Backstage pass. The XLBS Weekender videos they release on Sundays do, though.

Around 19:23. I think everyone should be able to watch it. Except work blocked, maybe.

That's something I'm worried about. I'm quite happy with my standard old grass mat, I use it for every game I try.

Awesome, thanks for that Erasoketa

The same-surface thing isn't that much of an issue for me - I have a pre-made MDF board that I use, with roads and platforms, and it's amazing what a different turning it around and moving the terrain about on it can make.

Slanted urban mat! Woot!

For variety, you can just rotate it 90 degrees.

And their logo just looks like graffiti on the street instead of just a name slapped somewhere. Almost like they check out the feedback on the competition before investing in their design.

Is that going to be an official infinity map? It's perfect for it regardless. And good point about the non-jarring logo, excellently done.

I think that is most certainly a sign of success that you can't notice it out of hand ImAGeek!

It's the funny hand/face thing with one eye open, about 3/4 of the way towards the top left corner (in the mat-only photo) - not sure what their logo is meant to be actually!

I need a model for scale, what is the size of the 12 dollar piece.. cause it looks pretty nice for the dollars.

I mean i have to assume the ladder is maybe 3-4 inches if it's for 28mm, the wall bits probably an inch tall, or less, but sometimes it's different from what you'd think.
