Wow. Nice. He'd make a great Odin for the Ragnorok mini game I just outlined in my head.

Not directly related to the KS, but The Warstore finally has the Reaper Master Series High Density Sets 1 and 2 in stock. Each 19 paints for $30, plus shipping. Sets are good for new painters, or to get your Bones to tabletop faster.

http://www.thewarstore.com/reaper-master-series-high-density-color-paint.html

Only took 'em, what, six or nine months to get them back in stock!

Good stuff. Finally locked in my pledge. Dropped my core set to pick up some of the bigger models and swapped graveyard for mythos got the clear weapons for I don't know why and both chibi sets for some random reason. Still only $27 over my initial pledge could have been worse...

Update day!

Did anyone else know that the Solar was supposed to have a lion head? I didn't know that.

Not sure why but the wings aren't doing it for me. Hopefully they'll be unattached anyways, so a quick fill in and I'll have me another feline headed warrior for my next Song of Blades & Heroes project.

Hope he ends up being a larger model too!

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

I didn't know that when I paid for one... Not too upset about it, though. The wings look like decoration and not real wings, like he's the Beast cosplaying Jessica Alba from Idle Hands. The sword also looks a bit...cosplay. It's the kind of sword only a spikey haired boy should wield.

Still happy with it.

Apologies if this constitutes thread necromancy, but is anyone able to tell me the latest projected shipping dates for this project? Specifically wave 10 shipping?

Thanks

The KS page only has up to wave 7 on the pledge levels, and that is estimated October. As far as I know they are on time right now.

The PM is still open, isn't it?

Yes, open until the end of July, last I heard.

Link is:
https://ks.reapermini.com/bones3

Something which I fell afoul of, which probably isn't a common problem, but:

If you change the address of your Reaper pledge for one project, it changes even the locked in pledges for ALL non-dispatched projects! So when I wanted my Bones III pledge to be sent to a friend in the US for pickup, guess where my (expensive international shipping already paid) wave 2 of my CAV pledge ended up going? Yup.

Whoa! I clicked that link on a lark, and it let me log in using my Bones I info. Does that mean that the PM is open to me as well? Not that I can justify buying another giant box of Bones at this time...

I have plenty of unpainted bones, but I actually really like how quickly they are to get ready for painting. Hobby knife off a few mold lines, give it bath, and throw on your base paint. Then it paints up nice and smooth. They're great models for traveling painting as well!

I do wonder how much further delay will be in this one, as they've already slipped one month.

The Pledge Manager has been reopened until June 3rd, due to a slight miscommunication.

I would make sure to hit it on the 2nd, since the miscommunication was folks thinking that it would close at the end of the 1st, not at midnight - the very start of June 1st....

(The tragic reopening of the Pledge Manager has already led to Shub Niggurath slipping through, to wreak havoc upon my unsuspecting players....)

I checked my confirmation email and realised I'd ended up with two dragons I really don't want. I must have checked them out months ago and not taken them off the PM.
Shipping is so ludicrous for me already (UK backer) that I didn't notice the extra $20

Shipping for this one has been quite.. surprising on my end. I got a battery of Sledgehammers, a squad of not-StarCrap Marines and Mr and Mrs Bones plus a mere $18,35 in shipping.

Only worries right now are whether or not being in the first wave actually means getting it first due to being a bloody foreigner and how badly I will be hit by customs.

Reaper is ready.
They are in the process of readying everything to ship, and have all product in their warehouse. If your address has changed, this would be the time to update your pledge manager.

Sorry for the necro- but some Bones are too cool to stay buried.

Quite pleased with this update as well, the sudden decision to give most non-US backers a better shipping solution out of the blue is most excellent.

Sure, it means an even longer wait, but feth it, most of us won't have to fork over a gakload of customs fees now.

Yeah, it makes me very happy. I remember how much I had to pay out in customs and VAT fees for Bones II.

The delay is probably only a couple of weeks too. I'm still hoping to get my stuff late June.

I do hope the EU container arrives soon, but knowing our rotten luck, it will no doubt be held up by UK customs for quite some time to come.

At first, I was "All right, I'll get it sooner than later!" Then I remembered that I'm having it sent to a US postbox to save on shipping. Ah well, I can wait a while longer.
