Great work Peter, he is really nicely naturally posed and I love the inclusion of the insignia on his front. top banana

Bruticus - The Command and the Heavy Weapon teams are much much better than the Infantry.
Two Spartan - Bits and Kits and my friend Martin are the answer to the bits supply.
nathanie1 So toy like that pose....hmmmm I was not so sure and have been considering this move of the head:

I think both poses look good. Along the gun looks more action while along the sword looks more commanding.
One thing I would change is I would add square toecaps to his boots, those pointy sabatons don't look quite right for a space faring 41st millennium man.

You know what: I also prefer the first pose, although I couldn't even tell you why. Maybe it's because it makes him look more like a swordsman, while the new pose seems to emphasise the gunfighter angle?

Personally I prefer the first pose, he looks like he is borking out orders and I think the model has more movement, however I am learning fast from this blogging thing that cameras can do strange things to how models look. Go with whatever sits best with you in real life would be my advice

Yep - I prefer #1:

Couldn't say either. The feel of it is different - said earlier, more commanding in way?

Pose one wins then.
Cheers guys for the feedback.
Bruticus - damn making more work for me. Mol also suggested something to make the feet look butcher. With both of you saying something I will have to looking into it.

Dam late to the party again however not that it matters but I would have chosen pose one as well.
Pose 1 flows better the second pose looked slightly tense and made his sword look as if it was to heavy for him.
So Good choice

I did some quick googling on sabatons but didn't find out why some are pointed, maybe it was just fashion. But I think that spiky toes always look very fantasy, more suited to riding a horse than doing 40k things, plus it implies he has a full suit of armour on under his robes which also seems very medieval. You could just trim off the toe point slightly and it would work as some sort of sci-fi armoured boot. Or you could go the whole hog and swap his feet with some hefty space boots. Or you could just ignore me, it's a great model as it is.

I didn't even notice that he had sabatons on at first but now that I see it I have to agree with Bruticus, they don't fit very well with the rest of the character. You could probably just remove the pointy part and make them thicker with some GS. When I converted my warrior priest model I simply cut the feet of and replaced them with some IG feet.

Mol, Bruticus and Karokk you are all despicable - I totally ed up widening and blunting his Sabatons. He now has standard issue Departmento Munitorum - Cadian Designation boots V2. On a positive note it has made him a little taller and when he is on his actual base he will also be more upright.
On the drawing "Trask" has what I took to be candles coming out of his back, so I added the Reliquary and am very happy with how it turned out.
He is done and tomorrow he shall get under coated.

Nathaniel - Not guitar wire. It is wire wrapped cable from the ever reliable and impressive Zinge Industries http://www.zinge.co.uk/
You will never use guitar wire again when you have used wire wrapped cable...so flexible and does not fight you at all.
On a separate note wont this be brilliant for an Inquisitor Conversion http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440004a&prodId=prod2000079a. Replace the bow etc with a gun. Power Axe head on the spear. Little =][= instead of hearts. Needs a head swap which will need thinking about....

I've noticed a few bits and pieces of ribbed wire on both your own and others peoples models that I've viewed...Is that guitar string? I'm curious because of an INQ28 model I'm working on at the moment needs some wiring done and my attempts at making ribbed wiring so far have been fruitless...Your models look amazing as usual PDH and Trask is no exception, your work and the work of others on this forum is incredibly inspirational...

The Inquisitor's looking brilliant, mate! For some reason, the boots make him look even more angry. Does that make sense?
Funny you should say that: I think that model is the best thing to come out of that release, and quite promising for an INQ28 conversion. Go for it. You know you want to

Nice the boots balance the candles to keep him in that weird feudal sci-fi universe =)
I thought those Shadow Warriors were the coolest thing to come out, even though they are quite expensive.

KrautScientist- Well thats good since Trask is a very angry man. I agree her and the other women (from the neck down) are the best things about the release.
Two Spartan - I do like the Shadow Warriors champions face....but the helmets look like eggs.
Tobber1202 - Cheers
tundrafrog1124 - That works for me The 1mm wires are most useful but I have used them all.
Rogue Wolves - Initially I thought he was finished before adding the Reliquary but there just seemed to be something missing.

I was unfortunately on GM duties elsewhere so I didn't get to play in that game. On the bright side Krautscientist Zuul is still alive....for the time being. I am sure Keravin, CFH and Mol will be able to tell you more.
