The search function showed nothing/the wrong posts for the following:

Stargate
Star gate
SG1
Pheonix
Jaffa
Stargate SG1
28mm Stargate

and a few others.

Now where did that topic on the 28mm Stargate mini's by pheonix go??

Weird. Check your search thingamajigy, I looked on the second page of news & rumors to find the "Phoenix Icons To Produce 28mm Stargate Minis" thread I think you're looking for. So, there ya go!

Maybe it's because you misspelled phoenix?

No clue why it wouldn't catch stargate though.

Yeah, strange. Stargate did bring a few threads but it didn't have the ones I wanted. And I did spell phoenix right on the search -- didn't catch the terrable mispell on the post O_O.

Very, very weird. I was wondering if you had received any hits on any of your searches, but from your post above, obviously you did. Rather puzzling that the one thread you were looking for (which was rife with all of the search terms you specified) wouldn't show up, yet other, unrelated, threads would. :s

Maybe it's a forum glitch? Well in any event I was the last one to reply (thread-buster ftw), so I didn't miss anything, though questions are left unanswered for now.

I don't think search is looking at subject lines. If you refine your search to News & Rumors
and look up the word "stargate" the thread pops up, but only because somebody included the
word "stargate" in message body. I suspect this is to avoid pulling up thousands of thread replies
that have search terms in their subject lines.

I have no clue why searching for it generically and searching for it specifically would yield no
results in one case, and the result you're looking for in the other.
