Wow, the minotaur looks good!

Great looking models.
No complaints, but a couple suggestions.

The dragon's snout looks too blunt. To me it's more canine looking that draconic.
I find the horns to be too... vertical... too. I prefer a sleeker, more horizontal angle.
No other issues with it (rear right foot looks GOOD).

I have precisely one problem with the Griffon. the beak's too small. It should be substantially larger.
LOVE the pose. Does it have a "topple" problem. The body almost looks too heavy for that base to keep it upright. LOVE the idea, though. excellent "out of the box" thinking.

The Minotaur itself is awesome. The only problem with it is that the Axe head isn't large enough. It might be "realistic," but it doesn't "fit" the minotaur... The handle might be a little bit too thick, as well... but it's not bad. Just the blade.

All in all, I'd say:

Dragon - B+
Griffon - B+ to A-
Minotaur - A-

Overall averages to a high "B" or low "A" for me.

Nice.

Eric

I love that minotaur.

I have a question though. How stable is that dragon? It seems like there is a LOT of weight on the tail/base connection and that it might be pretty fragile.

According to the sculptor there isn't really a problem, but pinning them to the base is recommended.

He stands on a 25mm round base, so I'm guessing a little bit taller than a guardsman standing up (the daemon would thus be even taller since he is currently kneeling)

Personally, I like these two touches simply because they help to set this dragon slightly apart from other great dragon models in the marketplace (such as the Ultraforge resin kit and the upcoming Heresy dragon). There's enough design space for dragons to make quite different renditions of the concept, and I believe this one has a good niche.

Hi - I KNOW the base is resin - but is the piece as well or is it metal?

Thanks!

Overall the alien looks good, my only complaint is the head; while the quad-eye look is a nice touch I find the mouth rather, meh.

I actually like the head.

My complaint is that, to make the tail, he used "brownstuff" instead of "greenstuff."
That just does NOT look right. Especially in a squatting position. LOL

Nice alien! And interesting head, I like if some sculptors try out something rather unorthodox with their models.

Keep it coming!
