It's a cool idea to be sure, doesn't interest me.....but I'm sure it will be ideal for others. Only thing you might consider changing is that price tag, seems pretty steep for that size of a display.

Not that I've seen. I went on yesterday looking and couldn't find it either. I want one to keep from having to do the major work myself....

Ughh... I really hope these are available at Adepticon, or my great plan will be ruined.

Hello guys,

Here is the update on the board and the P.A.C.K. 720. Both items are going up on the site later today and will be available for pre order.

I do have some bad news for people planning on buying the boards at Adepticon. Due to the amount of items we needed to ship we did not have room for the X-Boards to make the trip. This along with retailers wanting first dibs on sales we are releasing the X-Board as a street date of May 3rd.

Pre-Orders will be up on our site tonight. Both the 720 and the X-Board will be available with multiple load outs for the 720.

Well you've just lost a sale. I only really have a need for this product at tournaments and the only major tournament I have plans on attending are Adepticon. Maybe next year I'll think about buying one.

Really disappointed.

NecronLord3- would it have done you any good for Adepticon, if you had to buy it AT Adepticon? Would you have flocked/painted it up that same day?

I just think it is kinda ridiculous that if we are willing to preorder(a guaranteed sale) that a few can't be brought along. It's also ironic that a selling point is the X-boards ease of travel, but they are unable to find the room to bring them to adepticon.

Guys, lets not make this into something bigger then it is. We have commitments to our retailers and wholesale accounts that require all products go into a pre-order status before they have a street date. This give each of your FLGS a chance to order theirs and have them in stock when ours on the site are shipping.

Its the only way we can protect the FLGS owner and help them with sales.

Again, we will have a couple samples (not for sale) at Adepticon that people can see and try out.

It's funny that nearly all other companies sell advanced product in limited quantities at conventions like Adepticon all the time, and it doesn't interfere with retail sales and/or commitments.

Please try to avoid making commitments or even vague suggestions in the future, when the obvious situation is that you have other commitments to your retailers.

You know what else is funny that all the time you have wasted complaining about that you cant get the display board you could have been making your own one. We get it man you are mad you cant get one at adepticon. Can you please stop beating the dead horse? I will now add my two cents.....cool idea.....not sure if I will get one as I stink at 40K and dont play in many if any tournaments

I understand Necronlord's issue though. Romeo did say that there would only be some for sale at adepticon if he could fit them into the luggage which they can't so he did cover himself ahead of time on the Adepticon selling issue. I personally am more annoyed that he originally announced they'd be available for purchase much sooner than the actual reality. It happens but I'd almost prefer no hint of actual time it may come out until it can't change than to be disappointed when it doesn't come out on time.

In all fairness though....who cares? Necronlords whining doesn't really help the situation, and Romeo already explained that he is unable to have any at Adepticon. It happens. I mean, at least he told you now rather than wait till you got there?

Seriously, the stuff that we gamers get our underwear in a twist over is amazing.

Actually you hit the nail on the head because I'm pissed that between the time this board was announced(with the commitment that they would be for sale at Adepticon) I could have made my board. When this product was announced I stopped the plans I had to make the board myself. A) I didn't want to make the board and B) Purchasing the board from Battle Foam would be cheaper and a hell of allot easier, not to mention that it is just sweet as hell and portable. Its a very nice board. Now, the word comes out that is won't be available and my vacation that just ended is over and I won't have a day off again until the first day of Adepticon. Yeah, I'm pissed!

It's also nice to see Sgt. Diablo calling up his friends to defend his companies bad decisions. Very professional.

Sorry I have a Job that interferes with my hobby. It requires that I spend approx. 10 hours away from home(5 days per week) and if I'm lucky I sleep 5 or 6 hours a day. I guess, I could stop taking care of my kids(and extremely ill wife) and concentrate on rushing to make a Board.
