That's a nice resurrection. They're looking great.

Thanks Meph, they were some kind of fun to finish.

So here is the test tank for the company markings. I never liked the loud stripes down the side of the tanks. Didn't make any sense to me, why a tank crew would camo their vehicle only to paint bright lines all over the side. Never painted the markings before, this time I figured why not. I think it actually works. I'll go back and do the rest of the armor when this guy is done.

Just a quick update to show the progress. I may have these guys done sooner than I thought. Time to start the Knight!

Nice good choice, I usually prefer the paladins for the 2 shot battle cannon. Did you glue the face mask on?

Thanks, Ustrello, I just like the way the cannon looks. I may try to fit something on the end to make it look more, something. I don't know.

I like the deep blue, but not the gold on the Knights. So I went with an off white. I think it looks ok. This is a really cool kit.

And, he is all done. First time I built one of these guys, kit is really cool. If I ever do another Im gonna spend a lot more time on him. The base was a pain. I must have done something wrong because it warped. Had to lay cork to fix it.

Badass Knight! That scheme is a very cool one. However, I do think it could really do with either some freehand litanies/scripture or some battle damage on the large flat areas to break them up.

Then again, I say that about any area larger than a Marine's kneepad!

Very cool scheme, you certainly painted that up quicker than i'd have expected. Don't worry about the basing, looks really effective this way.

If you do another one, I'd stick to the same scheme and just add a few weathering effects, damage etc as paradigm suggests.

I always find doing large metallic surfaces a pain. Yours looks really nice!

Thanks guys, Im glad you like the Knight. While I agree some weathering would do him well, I just can't bring myself to do it. Ive got some hobby burn out going. I got a heavy weapon squad, a Valkyrie left, then Im gonna take a break.

As for whats done, the tanks! Thought I would post a pick of all the armor with the markings and such. I decided to use some of the empty storage things I have and make them into carrying cases. Its working out pretty well. I think I will be able to store the whole army like this.

Loving the knight, as to something to do for weathering, take some typhus corrosion and blot it onto some areas where you think it would appear and then use the rust technical paint to give it a rusty look. Thats what I do with all of my knights. Also the guard is looking good man

Thanks Ustrello, I had planned on weathering the Knight but have run out of hobby steam. I guess this army was a little bigger than I had planned to build. Actually a lot bigger.

Anyway, the plasma was changed to blue and the last heavy weapon squad is complete. Thanks to everyone who stopped by. This army is off to eBay to fund the next project. Im gonna take a break. Thanks again!

Thanks for the kind words guys. As for next, no idea. I'm kinda burned out at the moment. Probably be space marines, my first love.

Ok then, back to it. The Space Wolves fought in all the Armageddon Wars so Ive started a small army. Of course every time I say that I end up with a giant pile of models. Anyway, here's hoping I maintain self control. Im still working on the bases, gonna be snow. And with that, some Blood Claws........

Got the first 5 Grey Hunters all based up. Then I realized I forgot to put on the transfer. Oh well. Anyway, finishing up more bases. In hopes of keeping this army reasonable, I have written something of a list. Ill make 2 squads of 5 and one of 10. Razorbacks and a Drop Pod respectively.

I wondered why I hadn't seen you in a while, I completely missed the catachans being finished.

Those Wolves are off to a cracking start, nice work on the basing.

Hey gents, good to see everyone and thanks for dropping by. Space Wolves are grey, I have no idea where this baby blue stuff came from. I have an old White Dwarf featuring grey Space Wolves, ditto an old codex. Cant believe they went to baby blue! I think the bases are working out well, I used the technique those guys at Eons of Battle posted. Pretty sweet! Speaking of sweet, a Venerable Dreadnought. All the weapons are painted and interchangeable, Ill post more pics later. Thanks again!

I like your catachans a lot. And that's saying something considering for the most part I genuinely despise the plastic ones.

I'm disappointed though that a thread titled Armies of Armageddon doesn't have Steel Legion ;-)

@Paradigm- Thanks man, its a cool kits. lots of bits to convert other dreads. I have a regular vanilla dread I may use for this guys brother. I have enough left over bits to totally wolfy it.

@Red_Starrise- Thank you, I chose Catachans because I couldnt cope with the prospect of painting another Cadian army. I dont really care for the models either. As for the Steel Legion, that's why God made next time!
