3 split-firing Broadsides must be the hard counter to Gladius then! I'll have to try it if anyone runs it in my store. Anything else... I'll just run one or two.

So, I played a scenario game on Sunday. Farsight, O'Vesa, Torchstar, Brightsword, and Bravestorm were sent to rescue the President (represented with a Tau tank crewman with blonde hair and a smug expression) from some Ultramarines.

...It played out like a battle scene in a Graham McNeill + Matt Ward collaboration.The only thing our resident Bad Enough Dude did was kill a Rhino with his sword, and then he died to one meltagun shot. Torchstar grabbed the President on turn 4, but got tarpitted and slaughtered, making this game my first ever loss (and first ever game) with the new dex!

I am looking forward to more games, and maybe for my dice not to be so spiteful.

Sounds like my dice in every game.... great scenario though.

Oh crap you assembled the Sormsurge completely before painting? Have fun with that lol.

That sucker took me 3 days to paint, without having to finagle the angles because i did it partially assembled.

What was the most difficult part for you?

How did you make the main gun swappable? The parts share a core; did you just use a crapload of magnets or something?

Magnets, magnets make almost anything possible!

I just assembled the core as the Pulse Driver and made the second part swappable. It doesn't even need magnets, really.

The Stormsurge! All it needs now is some minor cleanup and weathering.

Y'vahra on the way! Can't wait.

First day of Y'vahra work. Mostly spent on basing and painting one leg and the waist. Critique, concerns, questions, fudge recipes?

Because the Battlesuit corps took all the red paint, the fire engines in the Enclaves are actually a dull beige.
I plan on dulling it down a bit with the weathering, but I base my weathering on amount of deaths in games. The Y'vahra has only died once so far (on my test run some Fusion piranhas ganked it, I rolled REALLY badly, dealing 3 wounds, and then a random drone took the last wound off)
I absolutely love bright red, as well. Almost as much as I love Farsight!
