I suddenly feel like a much more productive painter than before.

Fantasy, 40k, Battlefleet Gothic, and Warmaster all combined...ugh...at least 1,000 unpainted. Let's estimate 1,250. Then there are those that I still haven't assembled...

Way too many to count, I much rather like to focus on the projects at hand and wilfully ignore the rest for the sake of my sanity.

Right now that's three tanks, fifty infantry of various sorts, three Knights and assorted Adeptus Mechanicum models.

That includes being locked up in a bunker painting minis because of the impending zombie apocalypse.

Due to the BaC box i have lots of unpainted minis.
I think i will get rid of them since i hate to paint Marines. Just a stupid task.

This is why I love my move over to skirmish games. My backlog, while it grows, actually shrinks as well. Because I've been playing a Malifaux league I've had the motivation to paint stuff and I've knocked 8 models off in the last 3 weeks while adding only 2.

Good lord, I forgot about my epic collection. It's not a horrible amount (The original Space Marine boxed game, additional box of marines and Eldar), but the infantry are so damn tiny and my eyesight is starting to slip...

40K: I haven't looked in years, but about 50 guardsmen.
DZC: 2 UCM Scimitars, 1 UCM Condor
Other: 10 TNT minis, about the same in goblins for RPGs, plus about 5 metal minis for RPGs.

Total: ~70 miniatures

Oh, plus a fairly big Dropfleet pledge coming in July(ish) if they keep their schedule. That should add 20 frigates, 4 battlecruisers, and 9 cruisers, for a total of nearly 100....

I'd completely forgotten about the guardsmen until now, I should probably get rid of them...

I have to check when I get home, but I think the last time I checked, I have around ~50 miniatures to paint still. Some of which I might not even do because I might be interested in trading some of them.

Well, all the time I have since I have not got nothing on it yet. Then again, I am only getting back into the forums.

Uhh well I think at least 200 models or so. Cut that down from ~1000 because I'm selling a lot of stuff.

This makes me thing of that old Arthur C Clarke story, where when all of the stars in the sky have been counted, the world comes to an end

I think that's it. if you would have asked me 2 months ago, I would have had to tack on ~80 tactical marines and 30 or so terminators

many many hundreds. if i stopped buying models today, i might not die before i finish painting them all. but i wouldn't bet on it.

Not going to count, but I have a barely touched from. What I can tell CSM Battlefront from 5th ed. The Dark Vengeance CSM except a few unpainted. Hell my CSM 5th ed rhino is unpainted.

And an almost done but not quite finished Orikan the Diviner
