They look very nice, the red on the nightbringer looks amazing against the black background.

Thank you all kindly.. so vote if you feel generous. I like the way he turned out. However I think what came out really cool was the way the red glow lit up the ground underneath him. Ended up being a cool effect.

About time I stop cluttering up my Lamenters Blog with Necrons.
I've created a new Blog just for my Necrons. So from Now on it's just Lamenters ( or Marines related)

Thanks, It's a bit better in Real life , I already dropped it off so any good pics of it will have to come from YB.

Waiting on a delivery gives me time to completely tear apart my work room and clean it. It'll also give me a good chance to pontificate on the vast amount of stuff I own, from armies to all the kits, terrain materials, Bits for everything.. this might be overwhelming.

Hummmm. Not sure GIt would want to lose the little free space he has left in his man cave. Beside it'll mean more when he get everything while in college and has no place to store any of it!

Well YB got his Dread and surprised me with the gift of some new and partical boxes of Kits. The Vanguard box, a Box of GK's, a new box of Tactical Marines with a few guns missing, A Dread, 2 boxes of SW ( with 4 Termis and a tactical squad)

Smooth move .. now I gotta paint the SW for him..SO spent last night bashing out a SW dread with all the left over SW part from the other kits. This one at least will be able to switch out the the weapons LC and AC. PF for ML.

The 4 Termies I did all with TH&SS. Just love the look of the load out. Finished up priming them but need to stop by the FLGS for some uncrusty SW colors.
Have no Idea what he needs in the way of normal troops.

Not Mother Teresa... just Yellowbeard's mother!!

Do you do his laundry too??

Automatically Appended Next Post:

BTW, that's actually a shot at Yellowbeard... not SL. SL is generous to a fault with his time and talents.

Careful, the 'Boy' was brewing some really special stuff on Sunday when I stopped in, then when we went to the basement he must of had 8 different containers of stuff you'll want to try! I now know what he's been busy with. Different talent indeed!

Ok back on the Wargame track....

Working on a couple of terrain pieces that I picked up at last years Adepticon. ( worth going if just for the shopping) They use soda ( beer will also work ) cans for fuel tanks . Easy to assemble and look great. Finished putting them together and priming them. Started on the tank color ( went with red ). Some Pics tomorrow.

Very nice on both accounts. I have one of those tank set-ups too. Been wanting to get to it.

The tanks are cool, they'd be great on any board. And the shield is lush.

While I had all the SW colors out I started plugging away at the CC Terminators. Only 4 in this group. Base colors …

Wanted to do 1 all the way through to get the look down ( besides this was such a cool pose! )

While waiting to dry I worked on the new Dreads Weapons.

Really really nice looking Wolves. Dread conversion is well done, and the Termis are shaping up well.

Tanker kit is looking great so far. Really interested in seeing how it all comes out!

Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Thanks all.
They have been fun to paint. a bit more than my Lamenters which at this point need some love this winter.

Luckily I had all sort of SW bits from the various kits ( Stormwolf has been particularly good for stuff) to take a generic Dread and SW it.

I need to get to YB house and layout the whole lot to see where the gaps are. Pretty sure he needs some Scouts and Drop pods.

I'll probably finish up the remainder of the SW before getting on to my stuff. I try to clear my work for others first.

Red is accented in all his figures .. needed to make sure it continued. It might be a bit dark but it does break up the blue/grey.

you thinking the LC , ML or leg plates or all of the above?
