I doubt it,

I think Adam is smart enough not to give dates until the stuff is in the USA and in his warehouse,

but I hope to hear the final few kits are finished and being produced, and maybe even that they're printing boxes

There's been some major shipping shenanigans on the west coast, so I'm not optimistic about hearing a shipping date...

Just had a piece of paper arrive in the mail stating that I have to pay £20.45 to receive my latest 3 Pinups. :(

This is what has stopped me buying the releases ... almost doubles the price (which was up at the high end of what I could justify already)

Shame because I'd have loved the Halloween special :(

I've got 19 of the pinups / non-kickstarter models. I think this is enough for now.

Welp, the end is in site.

It's just that it is slated for June/July 2015 delivery.

I'll leave it to the folks who are better at copying things over to bring in the whole update.

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!

The minis looks amazing. Even if i'm a bit tired of waiting, it seems like the quality will compensate for the wait.

With the estimation for the release being july, I hope i'll get it before my birthday, which is on september.

For those that don't look in the sale thread Kingdom death has got a 50% off on all in stock stuff (including the box of hard plastic pinups)

a preorder (no discount) on the satan twins encore

the option to buy 3 set 'KS pledges' for those that missed out on that (and have lots to spend)

Sadly no option to "upgrade" from an option selected at the last Black Friday late backer thing - some of those expansions are looking really appealing now! Possibly not $625 appealing, but still.

Fortunately I was able to piggyback for the expansions I actually wanted, through a Dakkaite. If the creators are to be believed, along with Shadows of Brimstone, this will be one of those "$1500 to get everything at retail" boardgames!

Be warned that the Hard Plastic Pinups actually do have a stock level for the discounted price, despite not having one normally.

Er... Sorry guys, been MIA due to some fairly serious issues. But looks like I got back in time (if only just.)

Anyway, yes, people can back Kingdom Death: Monster again through http://shop.kingdomdeath.com/ . So get on it if you missed your chance as it's only available Black Friday (today).

Kingdom Death wrote:Just like last year, we are honoring black friday by opening the door and allowing late backers into the fold. I was very mixed coming to this decision, as I feel that you backers are sacred and should be taken care of. It wasn’t the emails from fans begging to be part of the project, nor the ones asking me questions about “piggybacking” a practice I am sorry but we cannot officially support. Rather it was the kind and very genuine emails from fans patiently awaiting the public release, knowing full well that the final price is much higher than what we kickstarted it for.

It is for those patient and understanding fans, that I have decided to make an exception for black friday. They are just excited, have grabbed whatever resin miniatures they could, and have stated they are happy to pay our final retail price! Please come on board now, while we are still mid-production so I can offer you some of the benefits our current backers have. Granted, the pledge rates for things have increased since we pitched, the shift to hard plastic was brutal on the budget.

We have 3 black friday packages and they are based on the current pledge manager rates. If you you were looking to show your support while we are still mid-production, now is the time.

All are neat - but I'm done jumping through LE hoops for KD stuff. Screw that.

$50, hard plastic, and still LE? No single human-sized model should be all three of those things.

Ditto.

The Christmas Twilight Knight is a bit ... I don't know, a bit hentai-y to me.

I was wondering why the detail on the Xmas Pinup looked a little "soft" in places, it's plastic!

And $50!!!!

This is a real watershed moment for me regarding Kingdom Death, I feel that Poots is now taking his customers for granted and treating them (us!) like fools.

No more purchases for me if this nonsense continues.

Ditto on what others have said, $50 for the Xmas model is ridiculous , if I buy it then to England that's about $64 posted, then I get hit for £9 import handling and roughly £8 duty, so all in it ends up close to an internet discounted GW Knight .....

I think it's that more than anything else that's a barrier for the UK, really. The nature of the product/service means that you're often buying one item at a time, before it suddenly goes out of stock. VAT is nasty but manageable, but paying a flat extra £8 per order pushes it into no-go territory.

And although I have no desire for that Christmas model, I do have strong feelings about complaining how expensive it is to tool everything in hard plastic, and then making hard plastic models limited editions. You can no longer use the "we hand-craft these things in small batches" excuse for limited numbers, it purely becomes an exercise in overcharging for exclusivity.

I don't think its that limited as its limited for the Christmas season which means he can roll this out every year at this time. That said I'm not paying $64 plus potential VAT and handling charge for a single miniature definite pass for me.

He is still taking the piss for 1 28mm hard plastic figure. The fact it is now the same material as gw and still costs more than there single figures is a wake up call.

Your last point is especially laughable and comical, because not only the 7th ed Valkyrie shown dumber things (like being able to throw the troopers without parachutes out of its hatches, no harm done) - Irbis

In Adams defense i would guess the price also covers the prints, card, and special packaging as well. Id buy it if there was an option to just get the sprue itself thrown into a bubblewrapped letter mail package shipping would be cheaper too.

Agreed. Tooling for injection molding is expensive, yes, but unlike resin there is virtually no reason to make production quantities limited other than to inflate the price. The investment is already made and it's pennies to produce more copies.

Not to mention, that was tooled ahead of already paid for Kickstarter models... seems he's just testing what pricepoint the market will bear on his plastic heroes...

Ugh.
