I really do but with them being all metal and sold individually before I never really got the chance to have fun with them when I originally did Eldar. These new ones being a bit better means I get to finally have that fun, but also the challenge of a somewhat short ranged army.

Continuing on with the second coat for the pink.

May need to start speeding up soon, as I'm going to be trying a 750 team tournament with these guys. But for that I need to finish this squad and their Wave Serpent. Should write up a list already.

Alright so this one is ready for the snow, making it done for now until the others catch up to it.

And started batch painting them for now to get the basics done before putting more work into the details.

I'll need to get the area I take pictures in fixed up a bit more again so I can get better pics taken, but I'm picking out more details in these ones than the normal since I'm going with giving them a slightly more elite look. Not much to it, just more gems being picked out instead.

Looking good so far! What color will the gems be when you get to that stage?

I decided against the blue scheme because I felt it was too simplistic and reliant on metallics. I enjoy the blue though but just not how it was looking overall and wanted a nice challenge and something that stood out more.

Been working on them some more.

Also gems are blue. I think it's a nice contrast to the pink. So it stands out and gets to be the gems and the glow for when I do OSL.

I envy your ability to do that kind of detail on the gems. It works excellently!

They're basically ready for the white now.

Also this guy showed up today.

Here it is with a bunch of other seers, not sure about repainting the blue ones for the new scheme yet. But I want to continue having each of the seers being unique. Also fun to collect and add in some of the more special stuff to have a nice touch to it.

Part I ordered for the wave serpent finally arrived today. Nothing special just needed the part for the turret to connect to the hull.

The white is about half done now.

" Waves back"

Looking good, you doing the wavey same as the jetty thingy?

Yep it's going to be mostly pink with the sort of fin areas at the front white with a bunch of sakura.

I finally got to working out my list for that tournament too.
At first I was going to use the D-scythes in the wave serpent with a spiritseer and such, but in the end I ended up with 110 points left over. Which was looking at this.
Spiritseer
5 Wraithguard - Dscythe
Wraithknight
Wave Serpent - TL Scatter

Which took a while to try to figure out what I could try to stuff into place to fix it up, then I realised that would probably be something like rangers. But then realised the really simple solution, which is just drop the Dscythes for normal wraithguard then just add a second 5 man squad.

Ended up with this:
750
Spiritseer
5 Wraithguard
5 Wraithguard
Wraithknight
Wave Serpent - TL Scatter

And that means all I need to get done is this wave serpent at the moment. Though I can use the bonesinger if I have the time I may try to get the RT farseer done in time for this.

How many more wraithguard do you have left to do? Because I've lost count.

Nice HQ section you've got going as well. Still jealous of that Bonesinger.

The 5 I'm working on and an unopened box for now.
Looking at keeping it at 20 until I start expanding more, with 5 man squads I'll probably have it around 30 for a while.

Maybe 60 some day for some apocalypse fun.
Though I do also want to try out wraithblades at some point, I think they'll just disappoint me overall.

Well the tourney list was just a small project that came along while on the way to 1,500 anyway.

And it's done, which means the 750 point tournament list is ready to go with about a week to spare as well.

Now that means I can use the bonesinger as the spiritseer leading the army at the moment, or use the week painting up either the RT farseer for it or the plastic spiritseer I made.
