Where are the guard updates, I am working on some groups based on movie units and characters, after seeing the cool stuff you were achieving encouraged me to start doing them

I wanted a guard pilot, but I didnt have a proper body atm and just wanted it done, making me hate this model! but excited to see your movie squads!

Can you remove the marine pilot still if you choose to change him why not buy the Valk pilot parts of Evil bay, just the arms, torso and head and use them.

I am still working through parts for general mock ups at the moment, Zing helped with one idea due to one of his recent releases that made me decided to complete an idea.

I have built one miniature partially , but still need to work out his weapon load out I am quite pleased with it so far, he would count as a Marbo character.

I am really getting into this idea at the moment, but RL is getting in the way of things so much at the moment

Now I want to see some more guard, and a pilot to get rid of that dam marine, although you did do a nice paint job on him

I have the valk kit too, its not that, I would need to buy a standing guardsman and cut and GS his legs in the sitting position (the way the cockpit is made, the seat is too big for the sentinal body, and you are going to end up seeing most of the legs, but yea the pilot comes out completley for the time i can figure a way to make this work, and thanks but i as well dont like the marine, but Klaus has to be so darn amazing that when i see what he does scratch building wise (especialy the helicopter interior he did, I know that the best way to do it is an entire cockpit from scratch..
and definatly looking foward to seeing your guard! RL can be a - - - - - sometimes i definatly understand

Yes, I see your point with the cockpit design and seeing the legs, cant you just adjust the area around the legs maybe GS the lower leg section and add the rest to them.


Maybe add some more to the instruments to bring in the sitting section a little, I am running blind here as I have never seen the actual model in RL.


I am sure you can nock something together that will work, I also want to see more guard characters, been to quite as of late on that front if you ask me

Well I have about 100$ of hobby money right now, but 400$ of IG left to get me to 1500, im just figuring out the best course of action, probibly some SM scouts, and some shocktroops.. even thought catachans have the better legs, i hate their arms alot.. the only reason i have odd guys with half catachan half cadian is because i ran out of cadian! so expect those two at least... but than there is the rest of the money

have you considered using catachan arms and sand down these to a point to later GS some sleeves and such on them? i think this would be a great savings in money...

I have done that a few times, it works in the long run but can be a real ass ache to achieve.

Try ebay for odds and ends or scrounge for any unwanted pieces, you never know people might be happy to help

for some reason i have the gunwielding arms aplenty... only the second matching arm is always missing...so technically i could help you with the odd arm^^

You could call them the" one arm bandits " with the aid of Viks arms

hehe I think I would have to freehand a secret symbol just for that, the one thing i love about the catachan arms is that you glue the gun into the hands so there are open left arms a plenty with them!

Quick update, currently working on cultists though (more on my other thread)...

everything looks highly promising...

the only nitpick is about the cultist heavy... he still wears that chaos star... you might want to shave that off

and where from is that commanders head?
