I can't think of many cosplayers by name that can engineer giant freestanding robot statues either.

I'd seen some WIP of her building that thing- that robot is pretty hardcore.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Looking at the picture of her crawling out of Lugg, I'm a bit disappointed it's not going to be a fully functional mech suit she can pilot.

Of course, this is the level of cosplay effort one would expect from these glamour models. So lazy.

Oh man, such blatant sexualization of women! You can see her entire ear in that first picture! This just takes titillation too far!

Also, Christ on a crutch, I hope she has a buyer lined up for that beast of a robot statue, or a really big living room.

While she may be a model, she's also an artisan. Her leatherwork/vinyl is, IIRC, all done by hand (from conversations, I think she only doesn't do shoes..yet), and she does all the foam work and construction herself, as well.

Her breadth of knowledge about various methods of making clothing, armor, and cosplay materials is really, really impressive.

I see what you did there!

Or am I seeing what I want to see?

Am I seeing things?

Either way...yes!

Yeah - MCB seems to be pretty awesome. I've never understood the flak Soda Pop has gotten from their association with her.

I think people just look and see her giant boobs (which admittedly, are hard NOT to see) and just instantly assume Soda Pop hires her to be convention booth T&A. I think she really is just a big fan of what they're doing (though I'm sure she still gets paid - and should).

MC's costumes are pretty damn amazing in person.

I'm hoping Stella Chuu will be at GenCon in her Princess Malya outfit- it looks perfect.

Is Sodapop doing another Gencon Exclusive figure this year for SDE like they did last year with the Wyvern Knight?

Soda Pop posted a bunch of stuff they'll have at Gencon including Relic Knights. Link for full list.

Gencon is the biggest event of the year, and Ninja Division and Soda Pop will be there in full force. Visit us at booth 1943 to get a huge selection early release items, including: Super Dungeon, Relic Knights, HellDorado, Anima, DeadFellas, Angry Sheep, and new Apparel!

All items will also be available at the Soda Pop Store while Gencon is running. If you want a chance to get these items early mark your calendar for July 30 – August 2!

Relic Knights

Relic Knights new release cycle that leads into the Void Break expansion kicks off at Gencon with eight new releases!

All of the releases are cast in high quality resin to ensure the detail from the sculpts is preserved and these dynamic characters are brought to vivid life.

None of those look like stuff for the Noh unfortunately.

Interesting that they'll be in resin. I wonder if we'll see more of that going forward, or if it's just the stuff for Gen Con.

Miniatures will be resin going forward with only large centre piece miniatures in plastic

The final models from Darkspace Calamity will begin monthly release in July of this year, with the first Void Break units beginning in September and continuing through the launch of the Void Break book in early 2016. To better capture their stunning detail and over-the-top anime aesthetic, each new and dynamic model will be featured in resin, with large, centerpiece models in plastic.

They look nice, I just wish they would re-vist the existing models again and do those in resin.

That'd be nice. I'm not sure how feasible that might be, however.

They have the plastic molds already - thank you, Kickstarter! - and I'm assuming they also have the resin masters stored somewhere. They could make resin molds from those masters and start selling the models in resin once the current PVC stock run out, same way they phased out the metal versions. Or they could change the PVC formula and do another plastic run.

No clue how they'll go about things with the existing line.
