Tyranids, Dark Eldar, and Necrons. Those are the only three I know of. There's a few more guys I haven't met yet, not sure what they have. But I think I have the only IG army.

Finished basing what I have painted. Command Squad's banner still needs work, and one of my Chimeras needs a few details painted.

Just got a a few Sentinels in the mail today. And I decided to start a Tyranid army. Bought a Tyranid Codex off of a friend and about 30ish unpainted Hormagaunts.

Very nice, any idea on the paint scheme for the nids?

What weapons you going to use on the Sent's ?

I need some Lascannons in my army, so I might go with those. Not 100% sure yet. I might try and magnetize them.

Any tips on magnetizing the sentinels weapons? I can't seem to find any decent guides online.

DIY stores for different size magnets and then what i found works best is to file down the weapon slot by the amount of the size of the width of both the magnet your going to put in the slot and the one being attached to the weapon, and use super glue to attach the magnets.

Playing a few 1000 point games this afternoon. I'll try and take some pics

Played Necrons for the first time yesterday. And I learned that they are really good destroying tanks. This was a 1000 point game.

Nice and grouped up for me. I lost count of how many dead 'crons this guy piled up:


Two Chimeras with heavy flamers did some work on these two squads of warriors. Also the vet squads inside had flamers. I need to get some better weapons for my vets.

His tomb blades learned what First rank fire second rank fire was. Plus a few Autocannons:


His warriors/immortals managed to wreck my Chimeras. I think it was turn 5 in this pic so I just decided to charge him. It's ok, they have bayonets!

It's nice seeing your nicely painted models in an actual game. Did you play your scions? I'm curious how they'd fare against 'cons.
What kind of list was he playing? Not wraith spam I hope?

He barely won. I did play my Scions, I used them to deep strike behind him and took out an entire squad of immortals, then died the next turn. He didn't have any wraiths, mostly warriors and immortals. His damn Warriors glanced my Chimeras to death. My Russ survived the whole game and amassed a huge body count.

Finished my last squad of Guardsmen today, and another Sentinel. That brings me up to 50 painted/based Guardsmen now. I should be getting a package tomorrow with some new toys. Let's just say my IG army is going to have a lot more firepower in the next week or so!

Halfway into assembling the first Leman Russ I ran out of glue. I didn't realize I was this low. And it's snowing here so everything is closed.

Are you gonna have demolishers or something else?

One Demolisher and one Punisher. And I'll be buying some extra turrets online for all of the other weapons.

Pro tip for the leman russ demolisher kit, DON'T GLUE THE TURRET WEAPON; it slots in and out without any magnets, so you can have all 3 different variants from the same kit

Other than that, they're looking awesome

Nice looking army! I've always liked the classic guard look and yours are looking great.

I picked up one of the Demolisher kits and mix of guns sit fairly well without glue. I added in some magnets to help improve the hold but really you could get by without gluing them in. Magnetizing them was also fairly simple. I just pushed some greenstuff into the gaps and then pushed the magnets into the greenstuff. For the life of me though, I can't remember the magnet sizes I used.

Thanks for all the tips guys, I really appreciate them. Unfortunately I ran out of glue this afternoon and couldn't assemble everything. I did manage to assemble one of the command squads and the bullgryns. Currently painting the bullgryns and I'm really liking the way they're looking so far.

I'm pretty happy with the color scheme for my Bullgryns. I'm missing a few paints to complete it but I'll have them tomorrow.

Nice bullgryns, have you thought about how your doing your tank turret tops ie with stubbers or commanders siting out the top or just having the commander hatch closed?

Bullgryns finished, just need to base them. Pics coming soon. Starting on my two Leman Russ/Sentinels soon.
