I'm a little flustered I missed it, but I have a slim hope there'll be a few copies at gencon. I know the CMoN booth has had miniatures that were out of stock for sale there before. The Forge God for one example.

Percival and the 1st Lion Knight are still in the store if you want them.

The Apotheosis is not a very good seller it seems. The FRCE are still in stock after how long now?

Yeah, I noticed that. Why is that, anyway? They're not bad-looking models. Muscles turn people off or something?

More than likely. It took a while for the Chosen to sell out as well.

Aren't all the pinups cheeky?

Much like the fighter and (especially) the thief, I love the mage. I really hope he eventually does a box set of the fantasy hero classes in plastic. I love all the new stuff, actually. Mountain man is creepy. That ring-tailed fox expansion for Monster sounds delightful, and I love the armor concept art. I don't care how much the major expansions are going to be outside of the KS (I bought everything I wanted the first time around ), I'll need to get that one.

Holy gak that is an awesome username. Please tell me your army is called Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Morathi's Darkest Sin has some competition here for best handle, I think.

This one in particular though gives off a good pin-up vibe in my opinion.

He mentions in the description it's not technically a pinup- it's sorta half and half. Reminds me most of the Scribe. Her features aren't really exaggerated like the Pinups.

I do enjoy the larger size models for the pinup line since they're intended primarily as show pieces and don't have gaming applications, the 54 mm scale is nice.

I'm also a fan of the Archivist model and having a pinup-esque version is very neat. Especially as others have pointed out that this particular iteration wasn't intended as a pinup in the first place.

Curious about the price tag. Most of the comparable KD figures of this size are between $20 and $40. Maybe the books make it more expensive?

I'd imagine the scenic base is a big part of it,

I'd also suspect there may be more rejects during casting as it's called out as for experienced modelers only and for resin that usually indicates plenty of thin, fragile tricky to assemble (and cast) stuff

Missed out on the mage, missed out on the distracted it seems by the time I get the e-mails they are gone which is a shame.

Which I ended up buying! My new rule when it comes to any potential KD purchases - No Game Content, No Buy. I've got enough decorative and collectable pieces littering my miniature todo bins

And it was plastic.

I'm not sure which way price should go based on that. Tooling for plastic vs small KD-sized production runs.

Marco Garcia was hired to digitally scan previously hand sculpted miniatures that are/have been available in resin the only reason I can think of for this is for future plastic production.

Fingers crossed,

although it wouldn't surprise me if it was now going to lead to actuall 'stuff' for a fair while

Indeed, very interesting news. It's also a good way to preserve the range from accidents.

Let's see how well the KS is received first before moving on to a new project eh?

Not yet. The printing has been signed off, so shipping *should* be this year. At last!

Was he the guy that converted the Gorm, etc. from resin to plastic?

Scan from resin to plastic happened in KD:M for several models - you'd have to hunt through the Updates, but Adam covered many of them, with the digital enhancements as he moved from resin to plastic.

Just received a shipping notification for my last KD store purchase, so I'm assuming everyone's orders should be shipping out soon, if they haven't already.

I don't think so - Adam is assembling things into the boxes, which then need to be sent overseas through customs to the various distribution hubs. We're at least a month out.
