I have a new game that launched at Origins and is having good success. I am moving around spreading the good word about it and I wanted to bring the word to the Dakka Dakka crowd as well.

The game is "Spinespur" a survival Horror skirmish game full of crazies and chainsaws! Its a skirmish based game so 5-10 models is pretty standard gameplay.

HHmmmm looks like a game I can use with horrorclix minis.

Dual use is always nice.

It can easily be used with Horror clix miniatures, although some of the sculpt direction we have decided to go is decidedly more brutal, but there no laws on who's miniatures you can and can't use.

Eh, I have seen this game advertised many places, it seems like you guys where sitting back drinking Faygo listening to ICP & Twisted and said "Hey guys I got a great idea for the game."

I might pick up a figure or two but the prices do not match the poor quality of the sculpts.

I like the sculpts.

I like the sculpts as well.

For an initial public offering, it is a fair showing.

Yeah, we read the same post from you on TMP. The game isn't fo everyone, but the insults are not nessicary.

 

For those going to GenCon, we will be at booth 1415 and we'll have some pre-releases from the line along with Demo's all show. 8)

It does look very interesting, but yes, it isn't for everyone. Just as horror movies aren't for everyone.

i just demo'd the game this weekend and it seems like great fun, try it out sometime maybe you will be surprised.

if anyone is going to gencon, me and a couple of people (off the gencon boards as well as other game boards) are organizing "after hours" gaming. We will be playing:

Confrontation
Spinespur
Rezolution
Warhammer 40k
Infinity
Dark Age

as well as others, so even if you don't have anything and want to learn how to play a game. Just stop on by since most of the guys are bringing spare armies to demo the game (all unofficial of course).

Thats kinda cool cereal killer. I may take you up on that offer.

My first night I'm in a late Warmachine tournament. But after that I want to try
out some Infinity...

most of the group is bordering on infinity from the rough head count i took so that shouldn't be a problem to try out a game or two. Everyone that i talked to on the boards seemed very enthusiastic about demo'ing to other people. Also some of the people on the boards said we could use their terrain as long as we put it back the way it was (for the next day).

once i get the set times and places to meet ill post either in this thread or somewhere around here. looking forward to meeting some dakkites!

When and where is this Inifnity demo you speak of, I am curious to try it out to. Plus any game with a rag head faction that allows me to yelll "lalalala" and death for the infidels I am all for.

alright guys so far this is the plan.
we will be at the "historical" hall because we were cleared to play on their terrain. We might move to the "non historical" side if the group wants.

Historical minis will be mostly in Serpentine hallway (second Floor Hall of the ICC) Non Historical will be Mostly in the Wabash rooms (1st floor of the ICC just off the main lobby).

so far we are definitely playing on Thursday night at or around 10:00-10:30. We will try and post signs in both halls to direct people to games. Ill keep people updated as the final stages of planning goes through.

some of the games that will be played/demo'd:

spinespur, infinity, hordes, warmachine, rezolution, confrontation, 40k, dark age, etc

come on down people are enthusiastic to teach you if you want to demo. bring your own minis if you want to battle it out.

I really like the sculpts, quality wise.
A little too creepy for me, but nice!
