A Message from Neal at TheWarStore

Hi Guys

By now many of you have noticed that TheWarStore.com and BWBits.com have come to an agreement and TWS is buying BWB out. We have received numerous emails from BWB customers concerned with exactly how bits purchases will continue after BWBbits.com stops doing business in August.

Here at TheWarStore our desire is to make the transition as seamless as possible. In my opinion Rob and the BWBits team have done a great job in the past, and our desire is to emulate their bits success. I and other TWS employees have been to the BWB bunker learning their system and approach to bits orders and we hope to be up and running as close to BWB’s closing date as we can. Hopefully the only interruption will be the length of time we need to move their bin system and set it up here in NY with bits product.

TheWarStore will have to follow GW’s policy about GW IP and shopping cart buying for GW products. However, we are permitted and we will post the bits products on our site with the BWB pictures and prices. And you will be able to call in or use BWB’s order form just as before. For the foreseeable future we will also be keeping the BWBits.com website open with minimal interruption or changes. And our goal is to have the BWBits products on our own website by mid to late August.

We will be keeping the BWBits.com pricing system in effect with no changes. We also offer regular GW product at the same 20% price as BWBits as well as a plethora (yes Jefe, a ‘plethora&rsquo of other great hobby product at discounted prices. We hope your shopping experience will only get richer!

In shipping, we will indeed follow Rob’s example and continue to offer his $2.99 First Class Padded Envelope shipping method for small bits orders. If we run it automatically thru our system USPS puts a delivery confirmation number on it free, so it is not a bad way to ship small items. And we will also have the $3.99 choice for international small orders too.

Rob of BWBits.com is looking to move on to other things but he is interested and willing to continue to work with us on what he enjoyed most about BWBits – namely setting up, pricing and scanning in pics of new products as they come available. We look forward to using his expertise in this matter for as long as he remains available.

I am sure there will be some bumps as we go along, but in general I think TheWarStore staff will be able to do as good a job with bits as we have with other GW and hobby material over the past 8 years. I think the general customer service philosophy of TheWarStore and BWBits is very similar, revolving around personal service and availability. And we also pride ourselves on shipping fast. I trust past BWBits.com customers will have very positive experiences with us, just as thousands of our customers have had since 1999.

If BWB had to be purchased by someone, a long term stalwart like The Warstore is ideal. Hopefully this was a win-win for both parties. I have used BWB numerous times in the past months, and it's how I do many of my new purchases
