If you are not fussy it could be used for nearly any 20s-30s era brushfire warfare gaming.

I think I just may have found my Praetorian Chimeras. Does anybody know how 1/56 scale vehicles look with 28mm's? On their PDF (website under construction), they say that the figs are 28 mm.

For all your bravado, if the US Army decided to invade, Wisconsin is it?, in force supported by a heavy bombing campaign for the month before, weeks of shelling from battleships on Lake Superior, and a full tank thrust (crushing the cows beneath the treads), I don't think that your .22 is going to make much of a difference really... Asmodai (my new hero)
At some point these sorts of decision-making skills lump you into the same camp as the Lehman Brothers, the White Star Line shipping company, and mothers who smoke during pregnancy. ---Sour Clams |

1/56 is about right (true 25mm) -not too big. Its the 1/35 stuff that is monstrous.

It might look a bit small next to GW 28mm heroic (which is more like 32mm) but older IG should look OK. Other tricks would be putting them on bases (since models gain a bit of height from their bases). Also keep in mind that a lot of WWII tanks really were tiny.
My RAV4 is bigger than some of the japanese tanks I've seen.

Point well taken...I think the Praetorians fall into the smaller category, so may work. They have a lot of interesting stuff for sale, shame no website.

Most 40k vehicles are not really to scale anyway. Usually smaller.
