I was looking at the Apoc dice again and notices that you can see 1's 6's 3's and 5's on the dice, so what side has the Adeptus Mechanicus Symbol in it? 2's and/or 4's? Very odd.

hrm... interesting Vortex Grenade... how the heck does one measure it's use? (I.E. you throw these, right, but it's not so easy to make sure your aim is accurate if you the tape measure to the center has to be so high above the model to reach the grenade)

But then again... ROADS!!! Looks to be a roll; probably made of painted vinyl. Turns out that release schedule wasn't a typo when it said 10' of Road.  Something that might actually be worth purchasing.

The Vindicator looks nice. Seems like a ForgeWorld model ported over. The extra amor is nice, tho, might be useful on any Rhino chassis, since it won't cost as much if it's not from FW (and will probably fit better).

With every passing day it gets clearer to me...  I love virtually every model GW puts out.  And I hate their rules more and more.  Could somebody in the creative department just take over the rules department?

I suspect that the Vindicator is an entirely new kit, not based on the Rhino chassis. I could be wrong. I hope I'm wrong, as plastic extra armour would be a nice thing to have available.

Why would they not base it on the Rhino chassis? It's probably add ons like the pred or razorback.

Um, wow.  That Chaos Vindicator isn't even "chaosy" by GWs ever-decreasing Chaos standards.

Well, look at it!  There's very little of the original Rhino showing.  If it's add-ons, there are far more add-ons than with the Razorback and the Predator.

It looks to me like a new side covering over the place where the door is, new front plate for the cannon, as well as a new top plate, some extra cap to put on the badonkadonk....on a rhino chassis.

Oops forgot about remarking on the zogging huge/slowed bulldozer blade.

I dont think it will be any more sprues than the whirlwind or predator added to the rhino chassis.

Dozer blade is very similar to the FW one, as is the gun, mantlet, aiming deivce, top edge of turret, etc. The vents on the rear deck are more like the old style one.

It's actually quite a bit different than the FW kit overall.

I think this will be built on top of a Rhino chassis, but the number of extra parts required will be fairly large, probably one large sprue.

Don't forget the Exorcist kits (and Sister's kits in general). They're all built on top of Rhinos, and have fairly large sections of stacked on stuff. The Exorcist has five big metal plates on it, a huge stack of pipe organ, plus the usual Sister's Rhino top, plus the door decorations. Almost as much of a the base Rhino kit is covered there as it would be here. But with plastic, less of a pain to deal with.

Umm... I had thought originally that it would represent a 1 like they've done in the past with other speical edition dice, however if you can see the 1's then that can't be the case...

A special "all my tanks are now fixed courtesy of the Tech magos" rule would be nice!

They'd make a mint if the extra armor is on its own sprue that would be available for bits order.

I love huge/slowed things, especially that dozer blade.  I will certainly consider a Vindicator or three at some point.  With all of the urban terrain I've been making lately, the could come in handy.

Nobody mentioned these ones ...

Another OK mek, and yet more marines!  Though they do look pretty nice I suppose, and note the return of the non-powerfist-with-dusters lightning claw.

If only the helmetless Marine were screaming, we wouldn't be faced with this problem.

Seriously, though, those are some pretty nice minis, but it seems like a huge waste to me. Marine Vets were already very decent (and pretty recent!) figures; why redo them again? Meanwhile, Eldar jetbikes are still wearing little jackets and Darth Vader masks. . . .

Regarding the Necron Phalanx... how do you make a phalanx with two monoliths?  I mean the definition of a phalanx being "a body of heavily armed infantry" incorporating ranks and files.

I love how everyone complains about another marine release but then that's all they comment on.

So how about that Big Mek. Looks nice. But I wouldn't want to get one till I know what it does in the new codex.

I do like the Big Mek. But I cannot help but jump on the marines to say: "Why?"

"The last known instance of common sense happened at a GT. A player tried to use the 'common sense' argument vs. Mauleed to justify his turbo-boosted bikes getting a saving throw vs. Psycannons. I suppose in the same way that if you look up the definition of a Pirhana or Eagle you won't get a description of a Tau light skimmer or an McDonnel Douglas F-15.

I'm going to hazard a guess and say the phalanx will be the large amount of troops hanging out between the two 'Liths because of the wicked evil bonuses they get there.

I don't like the Mek. The one that came out for Medusa V (the Mek with the Kustom Force Field) was a lot better.
The Veterans are nice, I suppose. You can tell the squad leader by the fact that he has a red laurel. Oh, wait...
