Got my ticket.

Got several buddies from Florida making the trip as well.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

I'm going. I was building a Genestealer Cult based on the LatD list, but those GW bastiches fragged my army. So I'm bringing "Ol' Reliable," my Tyranids.

Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

I am 75% sure that I am going.

I really want to head out to the East Coast and check out the GT scene there.

I have to create an army from scratch, so I have a lot of work ahead of me if I want to have decent soft scores.

That's what I was planning on as well, Genestealer Cult using LatD. Ah well, IG it is.

Crap, they sold out already? I was waiting till after Burning Man to see if I'd have the time necessary to retool an old army for the current metagame/4thEd and make a surprise return! Ah well. Mondo, get drunk and hold down the joint like we used to for us old-timers... and pour one from me!

There is a waiting list for tickets. I know for Chicago the 10 people on the list were offered the chance to buy ticket from someone who could not go, or at least were contacted. The list for Baltimore is about 30 people long.

I could be persuaded to part with my ticket for a high enough price. Heh heh heh.

While I'll be there Friday to help set up, and I'll be happy to run registration again, come Saturday morning game time, I'll be at the table rolling dice!!

Course, I'm always available to any poor misguided soul that has a question (like the rules judges......)

Hey guy!! Long time. Come on down anyways, we can still hoist a few. And who knows, we've had at-the-door waiting lists before to take the place of no-shows or just cause we managed to set up a few extra tables.

You know they're sold out.....................

I know.

I called Mail Order for some reason, and while I was on the phone I asked them how many tickets to the Baltimore GT they have left. They said that they only have three, so I bought one. I thought he might be kidding to move some tickets, but the next day  they were sold out.

In hindsight I should have bought all three.

So lack of a ticket will not stop me from putting the beat down on you East Coasters.

And no don't ask for my ticket if I am not going, I have friends already lined up for that.

Once it gets a bit closer and people know their travel plans, how about we set up a Dakka Dinner for Friday or Daturday night?

Isn't this called "filling our gullets with wings at Hooters and then proceeding to drink our faces off at Edgars"? Or were you looking for something more Dakka specific?

I might be heading down. After 20 years of running my own shops, I feel that I have mastered all the arcane knowledge to...(drumroll for those in need of such things.).. apply as a Kommando.

I wanted to go to GT's, but actually wasn't as interested in playing as in being there. Drinking heavily at the Warf Rat  and not have to roll dice with a hangover will be interesting.

Hopefully they will see my years of experience as a helpful benefit. I can show them how to screw up an event in so many different ways.

I'll be there.  Gots me ticket and all that.  Just not sure what army I'll be taking.  Was thinking about Dustwing, but obviously, that's right out since GW had to go and gut the life out of C:CSM

Gorgon:  It'll be good to see you again Chris!

JTS:  Not making it? Dang!  That sucks...  Now I'll have to drink with Ed and I don't know if I want to be seen with someone drinking all those fruity drinks!

Mondo:  You making a Friday late-night run out to the Wheel?

John, it'll be good to see you there.  Wish I had a new army to show off, but ironically it wasn't the new house or new baby that thwarted me but GW itself.  Oh well.

Which reminds me...I should probably post some pics of the GCult here...

Not sure about a run to the Wheel yet, decide that when it gets a little closer and I see how much money I have to throw away.........

I'll be there, defending my honor of attending every Baltimore GT so far. I am still working on putting together a new IG army and will probably have my typical 4-6 weeks to paint it all.

A few folks from my club are interested in going but they didn't get tickets before they sold out so might join just for the drinking and drooling over great armies.

I currently plan to be down early Friday, and may look to share a room if noone from West Chester heads down with me.

Hehehehehe, so that's why I never see Tony on Firday night. Unfortunately, overseas duty forced me to miss a couple of Baltimore GTs, but Tony beat me down in the first US GT in 1997!! I think I might do a little better in a rematch tho........................
