From my camera phone so I didn’t have a moment to crop or clean these up.
Working on the body now.. I decided not to include the inner workings, Servitors ect as I’ll probably glue this up tight. I’ll still do the Princip and Moderati though. I’ll probably use the tech priest on the base.
lot more to add to the base as well.. It'll need some tech guard or Marines running around.

I went for a more gunfighter pose. Slightly hunched back like recoiling, since this is essentially a gun platform. So far the body and carapace are stable. I Magnetized the torso joint so it'll break down into 2 halves.

I'm getting very excited about this project. What are you using for your base color? i.e. the dark metallic shown here

This is just a base coat flat black. The shine is coming from the glare of the lights. I'll probably use the same techniques I used on the Atropos Knight - Multiple metal colors and Washes ( Jaquine's ) . Due to the large metal areas there will be some of my standard break up of metal types. ( Shafts, cables & pistons ect ). I'll probably match one of the Reavers in the Badab book for Color References.

Sounds great SL. Going to be awesome to have some serious titanage in the Warders. I get my Reaver and we'll have something to take on WM's Warlord.

Heya, not checked in for a while, so missed the proper time to say condolences, so belated condolences.

I really like those craters. I need to do something similar eventually.

The knight is really well painted, but I'm not quite sure about it yet. Will it have iconography and whatnot? I reckon it would look better with white or black and white, rather than just black or another drak colour. Reaver is a big project! Good luck!

I love the craters too. Since I field a lot of Vehicles I get a lot of use out of them.

When you say 'knight' are you talking the Atropos or the Reaver Titan? The Reaver will be mostly Black with white accents. Though the load out will be different.

No Yellow. It'll be Black and White .. much like the Titan Ramos Painted for Whalemusic (Warhound). See the link in my above post. Though I'm not there yet and have been known to change my mind. Build first.

I'll be using it at Adepticon in the Titannicus Battle. ( along with Whale's Warlord - Ramos is working on it , so it'll be an awesome piece ) and...

also looking forward to a truly spectacular Reaver.. Nerd is painting a Reaver as well for Gits. Now that will be the high bar to beat!. So much tonnage added to the Warders this year.

Wow sounds like that will be fun. Make sure to take lots of pics!

Did Gits get in the event as well? Hell, someone drops and we have another Warden jump in with my Warhound, we will have 80% of the team.

I didn't get into anything. Very disappointing. I suspect my Reaver will be done by Adepticon. What event are you talking about? Maybe I can still get in.

That's exciting progress on the Reaver! We're all going to have to get into Adeptus Titanicus you know, right, so that we can have playable sized versions of all these things

Still working on the legs.. The base coats are complete on the body. Weekend work planned!

Shhhhh...... Let it happen.

Made some progress..

Slowly working on getting all the metals done on the left leg. Working my way up and around to the hip, then I'll start on the other leg. This way I have something to hold while trying to get at all the part not easy to reach. There is so much gold Trim that it take a while to finish any section. Have to pace myself or I'll start to get sloppy.

I also started on the weapons while waiting for the paint to dry on the legs.

Added some rivets to the steel plates on the base and will re-prime

Started working on the head, but having trouble on determining which of the cables included go where. The instructions are kinda vague, Frustrating, will have to go intranet looking for decent pics.

Glad to hear you're still making headway SL. Snow hasn't slowed you down too much.

It's funny, a lot of us started Dakka around the same time. Must just be the progression of the hobby. I feel like I started it with the Warhound a few years ago, and this is what happened. Gits and Solar will have Imperitor Titans in another 3 years.

I don't make enough money to buy an Imperator... but it's a nice thought wm, thanks.

Warlord would be nice but I'm still thinking Warhound. More opportunities to play it. and easier to determine who gets it in my will.

TBH those were my thoughts as well. I figure a war hound, a reaver and the knights in support would make a really nice titan cadre.

I'll never use the Warlord though. I've used the Warhound maybe 4 times since adepticon.
