Hello Chaps

A quick question. What with all the new Codex releases ( DA, BA, CSM... ) is there any intention to redo the DH? Does anyone have the scoop on this?

Also, the upcoming Apocolypse game, does this have any new rules for fielding the Daddy of Deamon Hunters armies or is it restricted to the more obvious forces?

Is it time to start buying GK Terminators in bulk?

Their days are numbered. Play them while you still can.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

This is up in the air, but ...

Guy at Ogre Stronghold - who is on the ball most the time, IMO - says that Codex:Inquisition is already written but needs to be toned waaaay down to meet the current codexes and trend of power decrease. My guess is that this means the "playtest version" of the list is done, so the rules are being worked through but not the fluff and other elements that actually make up the book.

Then on the flipside Phil Kelly at a recent GD said that nothing has been done on C:INQ, but who knows he was more talking Chaos + Orks (3-6 month window bit).

I think you can depend on all 3 ordos appearing in a single book, and that Inq themselves will be similar to the new chaos & marine characters. For example: INQ LORD - choose Malleus, Hereticus, Xenos and then choose amongst 1 or 2 packs of characterful equipment. Don't expect the current wonderful overflow of options and toys they have now, if they do with the INQ what they're doing with everything to dumb it down.

well....I can't imagine that they will be erased? how can that happen...( ok, I remember the Squats )....but that would undo everything Ordo Malleus?

Come on, someone must know something?!?!?

In the next year or so, they're going to replace the Daemonhunter and Witch Hunter codexes with Codex: Angry, Bigoted People.  This will cover people who are highly intolerant of witches, mutants, aliens, and demons, and will carry over-wrought, emo weapons in order to smite their enemies.  The troops will include Fancy Lad Space Marines, Sisters of Joan d'Arc, Brainwashed Imperial Guardsmen, and the SuperSpecial unit that can be represented by a whole plethora of existing models but has only one statline and ruleset (imagine mixing Penitent Sisters with Death Cult Assassins!  There's no difference now!).

So take your existing miniatures, paint 'em black, add some assault cannons, and call them a variant chapter.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

oh dear, what now!?!?!?

You've got a while I think, though C:INQ hitting late 2008 / early 2009 sounds about right to me.  So battle on for now, and I don't think your GK are going anywhere!

And Iorek is probably right on with those SuperSweet squads

You've seen the latest books, right?

Not only CAN they be that stupid... They actually ARE that stupid!

And it makes me sad too, as the Inquisition Forces are where the options *should* remain varied.

Just a great, characterful force, with TONS of conversion opportunities.

All gone, like tears in rain...

I'm assuming the dude meant "scribbled on a pub napkin and stuffed in back pocket, then found 2 days before print time"
