Out of curiosity, if you wanted to, are you able to merge some of the head renders to have different equipment combos? Like having balaclavas added to the SEAL style heads or adding NVGs to the CDF or tanker heads? If you could, say, add balaclavas to the Soviet tanker heads, you could make a pretty good approximation of the Gurlukavitch soldiers from Metal Gear Solid 2.

That might be worth some consideration.

I probably shouldn't have since I'm in the process of moving and buying stuff for my new place, but I wound up ordering more than just the legs I needed. I also picked up a Lynn and a fireteam set that I'm going to make into a LRRP team to go with my Danamians.

You offer a 15% apo discount. Does this 15% add to that discount?

I was thinking of a mix of tanker heads and Balaklava heads for a second drop team, all keeping themselves kind of unknown while on mission. The drop team with the personality heads is a showy unit.

Stetson and sunglasses is called "Lt. DuVall"
Beret is "Sgt Stone"
Plasma rifle is "Specialist Dallas"
Radio man is "Specialist Christmas"
Mini-Assault Cannon is "Gunnery Sgt Irmey"

Tanker heads are just regular named troopers

tl;dr - I recently ordered some stuff from Mad Robot Miniatures and I emphatically recommend both Steve's product and his company to anyone after quality in either field. I had an issue with my order which, I believe, makes my review of what happened and how Steve responded even more important.

The full story for those of you interested:
There was an ultra-minor super slight issue with a past order made several months ago, 5/6 of this one particular variant of CDF legs had a slight resin leak where the detail of the laces was obscured. I'd ordered a lot, and there really was absolutely no flaws in any of the tonnes of other stuff I had got. I decided that I'd certainly be ordering again and would just bring up the issue then, which means the replacement legs could just be tossed into the next order to save Steve on postage and me on hassle.

Along came the recent 15% sale, which MRM does rarely, and I thought I'd absolutely have to get something at this point. I attempted to cash in my loyalty points and contacted Steve about the legs, but there was a difficulty with the loyalty points. Unknowingly, I had actually created two accounts and was trying to put through an order via the one that my laptop auto logged onto, thinking it was my only account. I messaged Steve about it and resumed going about my day, hoping that it would be solved before the sale was over. Steve got back to me about both the legs and the difficulty logging in within minutes, which was strange, given the late time it was in the U.S.

Steve helped me with troubleshooting until it was resolved, all told it would have taken several hours of his time where we were constantly messaging me back and forth. For a small business to offer service like this alone would be fantastic, but there's much more to it than that. Aside from the professional manner with which he conducted himself, there was also the fact that most of my purchase was actually covered by loyalty points that I had accrued. The time that Steve was giving was not going towards a huge purchase with a high financial yield for him, but one made predominately by my loyalty points from past purchases.
Hours of his time for, realistically, a paltry sale. He seemed genuinely sad that I hadn't contacted him sooner about the legs so he could fix it right away, despite it not bothering me in the slightest.The loyalty program MRM offers is by far the most generous I've seen, when the models arrived, they were crisp in detail and absolutely breathtaking. The sniper rifle recently released is huge by the way! Much bigger than the stock photo would imply. And to top all of this off, Steve's fingers must have been sore, as it seems he couldn't muster the strength to snap the specific legs I was after off the sprue, and instead sent a whole sprue of legs for each of the five I had had issues with; which of course is an incredible act of kindness on his part, especially given the trivial nature of my issue.

Again, to reiterate, I am immensely pleased with the quality, attitude and service of MRM and most certainly will be purchasing again. Steve, I'll try and copy paste this to the customer review section of your site. Hope you're well!

I placed my first order a little while ago and I goofed and ordered the wrong arms I emailed Steve right away and he fixed everything up for me and made sure I got the arms I wanted. Great communication and service

I couldn't believe how crisp the detail was on the casts. I usually work in metal and plastic and I was very impressed with the amount of detail on the arms and guns. I really like he bulldog assault rifles. They are a nice and chunky, aggressive looking gun that looks like it will feth gak up.
