I've been building Ferrus Manus.
I've magnetised all the parts of the display base so it'll hold together, and I can put im together with Fulgrim or not as the mood takes me.

Hopefully I'll get him fully assembled tomorrow, then I get him undercoated.

If the thought of something makes me giggle for longer than 15 seconds, I am to assume that I am not allowed to do it.

Fixing my Captain America conversion from Deadzone after the cable guy knocked him on the floor and broke the shield off a few weeks back (never found it). Of course, not a total loss, as it felt like karma to give real dedication to the shield, made it bigger and put better effort into it. Now I just have to paint the star. And paint the full shield for the second defender. Then my Enforcer Deadzone team is fully done, including basing.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I hate it when you lose hard to replace bits.

Since my plague and enforcer strike teams are done painted, I'm getting my marauders ready to be sprayed. I'm seriously considering painting the commando captain with an M. Bison inspired theme, but what would that mean for the rest of them? A lot of red, though that doesn't have to be a bad thing.

Well, the shield was only made of GS and wasn't particularly spectacular...I decided the bigger shield made from a Chaos Marauder was a much better improvement. So he actually did me a favor. Sorta.

Heh, cool, as long as it isn't one of the ones with hands or skin hanging off of it, should be a pretty good captain america shield shape too.

Nah, it was the one that had a spike in the middle and three small bitz overhanging the sides, but they were easy to remove and GS over. So it's shaped better, larger, and has turned out great so far. I don't see Cap supporting shrunken heads hanging from his shield.

Finished my viking levies! 12 with bows, 12 with slings. Posing is a bit wonky on some of them, but overall they're okay. The Wargames Factory plastics are nicely proportioned but man, they are fiddly to put together.

My Deadzone Enforcer squad is finished! 5 models in the squad shouldn't have taken me forever, but I got into the Plague and Rebels as well. Head on over to see the Avengers themed Enforcer Squad. Eventually I'll add Hawkeye, I mean Recon, to the squad as well, but for now...head to the Deadzone painting thread to enjoy.

Those are great

I'm about to spray my marauders, a bit slower going than anticipated, but I managed to get them ready. I also found my tiniest drill bit for my pin vice, so if I can just find my floral wire I should be able to pin my Infinity models and hopefully keep them on those bases.

Bucky has joined the ranks of my Enforcer Defenders. If anyone is curious about how I make my defenders, the bodies are all Enforcer bodies, the bare heads are from KoW Elohi, the shotguns are from Space Marine Scouts, and the shields come from Chaos Marauders, rounded with green stuff. Flock is straight up GaleForce9 ash flock over brown paint.

Seeing your models in the Mantic thread you started, I'd definitely do some highlights along GD's suggestions-your base looks pretty close to the base coat for his, and I think yours will benefit from a similar idea.

On my selfish comment, I've finished my Bucky-Cap, and I've moved onto the OTHER guy who temporarily took Cap's place after his "death". I may have run out of gun pieces for this guy though.
The cowl will be a bit more difficult as the Enforcer head I asked for from people never showed up.

edit-You know what? I green stuffed the cowl and it turned out great. Including the goggles. And the chest design.

I'm painting (and hopefully finishing) my Wood Elf Wild Riders. I'm intending to base my next unit of Treekin as well, and if I can get both done I'll treat myself and assemble some Warhawk Riders I love bank holiday weekends!

I think there are multiple family things going on today, but if there is time I hope to paint my Marauders. I'm kind of planning to theme their colors after classic M. Bison since the captain has a similar cape and hat I've been getting terrain ideas in my head too, so we'll see about that.

This morning I based some of my Bloodletters and Possessed Marines, and now I'll paint some of my Bloodletters in preparation for a couple of games tomorrow. Unfortunately, I ran out of primer this morning so my opponent will just have to face some unpainted models. Oh well.

Finishing my US agent version of my Enforcer Defenders, except for the shotgun, which I've had a couple friendly dakkanuts offer up to finish him for me. Pics will appear in the Deadzone thread after he's finished (so far).

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.
