There we go. "Worst Kickstarter Ever." That's Mecha Front.

All these proudly positive posts are really killing that Kickstarter feeling.

I was looking forward to this KS and unfortunately because of how busy I have been last 6 months it came and went without me realizing it. I am happy you were so successful and look forward to being able to purchase your products when they come available.

Will you offer bundle sets on your site once the KS orders are filled or will everything be sold separately?

There will likely be some starter set bundles, I'm not sure on the pricing just yet. They'll have a discount but it won't be quite as deep as what was offered on the kickstarter.

Working on getting some of the production molds created and in the meantime I ran off a few copies of the alternate Lynx weapons. Ken at Proxie Models created some custom bases for the 75mm for the mediums, 90mm for the heavies and they should be arriving this week. (Thank you Ken!) 3D progress shots of the Wolverine should be coming up soon.

I like the missile pods. Thank you for not just making them pimples on a flat surface with a big seam/gap running down the center like a certain other company.

Here's some new previews of 6mm mecha. Approved the test pieces and the production models should be along within the next 2-3 weeks.

The light mecha are shown on a 40mm base, the medium mech is on a 50mm base. (bases by Proxie Models)

The master for the Cougar arrived today, parts are a bit wobbly as it's being held together with sticky-tac for photos. Shown on a 75mm base so it's a big kitty. (GW dreadnought base is 60mm)

I cannot wait to get mine!

Jon, are you thinking of designing any infantry down the line? Like 2015 or after, I mean?

I'm planning on tanks, infantry, and VTOL craft for the line but not sure about their release schedule just yet as it. First I have to see if I'll be doing the 3d myself or if I can hire somebody to help. I am drawing up plans for a second KS next year which will cover more weapon options and the quads but I'm not sure if the infantry and tanks will fit in just yet. Long term plans they will be included in the game for sure. (It's just a matter of when)

Jon, talk to Adam Rodgers over on the 15mm FB page.
I think he works freelance 3d modelling, and he's the guy that did the 3d work on the Ranger Project 15mm infantry.

Several items are going to be shipping out by end of the month so if you ordered light mechs start keeping an eye on the post in about 2-3 weeks time.

A new edit of the rules will be available for download by Friday.

Also had this piece done for the rules book entry:

Ok, I've been rather silent because I'm immensely happy with the level of work being done here, and I know it's not the best thing to do when you're happy about something. Plus life.

But I got another KS in the mail for big stompy robots... and the mould lines and extra resin (no, not flash) are driving me nuts. I'm used to Paulson level resin, and now I have to wait for it with ... this instead.

Absolutely. I went hundreds deeper on this project than any other I've backed based on Jon's previous work and reputation.

Can't wait for my stompy robots to get here.

Same situation here, Eldarain. I think this will be money well spent -- not always a given on KS.

Here's the production casts for the newer Raptor parts (15mm version). I've got about 30 models done (out of 115) I should be able to start shipping some stuff out on thurs-fri this week. I'm currently working on casting and getting all the parts and magnets sorted before I start packing.

What will be heading out in this wave will be Raptors, Goshawks, and Lynx models in both the 6mm and 15mm scale.

If you have a order that contains other items these mecha will ship out now-ish and the remaining part of the order will ship later when all the models for wave two are ready.

It'll probably take me at least a full week to get things packed and mailed so if you don't get a confirmation e-mail immediately don't panic, I'll upload tracking info as I'm able to.

Once the KS models are shipped to the backers I will be making the models available again for general purchase on the website.

Man, I really wish I'd been able to get in on this one. Any word on when these ought to be ready for retail? I've also been somewhat curious, willthere be more humanoid designs in the future?

Those look as crisp as the ones you did before, Jon. You really have a knack for casting resin that tickles me. In the right way.

November *is* drawing near, ain't it?

Yes those are railguns in that pic.

These are about as humanoid as they will get, they will typically adhere to either a chicken walker style or be quad legged designs. There won't be any human shaped ones wielding rifles, plasma swords, or hand to hand weapons as I'm not trying to recreate stuff from battletech, heavy gear, or gundam.

Thanks, it's always nice to hear when people are happy with the casting quality as it's something I work hard at refining and maintaining a high standard with. November is coming up really fast and I think I may miss that window slightly due to the printed materials, if it does run a bit delayed it shouldn't take more than a month or two at most so it certainly won't be the year+ style delay that many KS run into. I wanted to get items that are completed mailed out now so that people have things they can work on in the meantime while I finish up the remaining designs and finalize materials for the book.
