Well they are a new winterguard unit, ones with rifles instead of the blunderbusses. Hopefully they get around to replacing the "classic" winterguard models, as they are fugly. No, but it sounds like this will take your cortex, at range too.

It won't be plastic unless they've changed their plans. Plastics are only for large or overly complex models (like heavy warjack kits and heavy infantry) , everything else will be in metal. That said, I wouldn't mind a bunch of light warjack variants in plastic. I don't think light there are enough light warjacks, or that they're used enough, so with Mk2 bringing them back I want to see more.
