As well as him I've got Giles the Shaman done Ripper Sqarm head Plaguebearer Arms and Flagellant body.

Colours are designed to give him a vaguely priestly vibe

Clast is rather underplayed simply a Beastman head used on a basic Cadian with flamer the Mantic Ghoul bag as a dinner implies he's a renegade or serving in an unsavoury regiment. He could technically be Loyalist which will make him useful.

I've been thinking about 7th Edition. I haven't played much 6th for five reasons and I'll be interested to see if any get solved-
Flying Monstrous Creatures-Rules for them seem silly don't like flyers much on a 40k size board and these seem far too exploitative.
Challenges-Guh losing the attacks with my character because somebody yells at him also makes some charaters really hard to kill.
Wound Allocation-I wan't Sergeants to look cool and not to have to stress about precise positions of individual figures its what I disliked about 4th Edition.
Cost-Won't be but a factor £30 for an Army Book is something I have a hard time justifying to myself and you seem to require far more books to play now.
Other Interests-I've got into Epic and 6mm in a big way and I've also beome more interested in playing the various Specialist Games as well than 2000pts too many models for a 6ft x 4ft table shooting galleries 40k's become

Equally 6th will be my best result in 40k statistically I won two thirds of my full games equally I only played 3 games on one Saturday so ahh well.

He had been hunting the mutants for days. Sent to the Underhive for a routine purge he had pursued this group for days now killing as he went. Purging the scum with an accurate bullet or a well place las-shot. He had run out of supplies but was still hunting his foe the chief had a price on his head he meant to claim. He had settled for a rest and went to sleep. Sentry wires set and traps to protect himself he had been safe and sound. He gradually skilfully disarmed his trps and prepared to break camp. Then he caught a chance glimpse something was wrong somewhere. He went up to the puddle and checked much to his horror he saw the stigmata upon him his hair was pink! He ran out screaming gradualyy becoming what he hunted. He barely even noticed the second set of arms.

Really like Dunkreuz. Also, that beastmem kit makes some pretty sweet conversions. May have to give it a try myself. Keep up the good work!

Never really got into Necromunda with my group it was Mordheim we really got into. These were scrounged and traded for and this just seemed the best place to use them they have a great techno-barbarian feel to them

Pi running away from his handiwork. Deranged fellow made with Mantic Ghoul legs and torso and a GW zombie head the bonic arm is from something Monkeytroll swapped me with and is as I an't imagine Chaos bomb makers to be very safe or sane

Mutant with Rat face. The Cadian Helmet fitting makes this model work could have done with more contrast in the painting

I managed to spend £50 in my new favouritest and bestest charity shop in the whole wide world on an away job in Oxford this week.

How you may ask I mean your a tight git who wont pay full GW prices anymore..........

This is how

Only 15 of the Gnolls were within and they'll add variety to my Beastmen within however there is more than that.

Basically the shop regularly receives donations from somebody who worked in GW in Croydon during the early nineties this is just the tip of the iceberg of Ral Partha, Grenadier and GW goodies from within.


At the top is two wraiths for my 6mm Undead
Next rung is a Rogue Trader Inquisitor, Judge Dread Perp and a pair of Space Adventurers probably heading to the Cults of Hrin.
Then an Alternate Armies model and a pair of pre-40k GW troopers as well as a Rogue Trader Marine.
Below that are 3 Arbitrators and an Astropath.

Imperial Guard Bikers are something I've always thought should be part of 40k and now I own one in 28mm along with my horde of Epic Bikers.

This however is the crème de la crème.

He and the biker were mint in box. That lasted approximately 30 seconds after getting back to the B&B. They are mine and I'm going to make and paint them and play with them......

Nice haul! Some classic stuff in there, I'm particularly fond of the space-pirate adventurer and the early marine myself.

There was another big batch of miniatures in the bestest charity shop in the world this week and I splurged another £80 bringing my total up to £130 oops maybe not heading to Salute this year after all......

That's the total for this haul. I'll go over it in vague categories.

The big guys first

2 awesome full plate armoured Ral Partha Centaurs, 4 Minotaurs including one Grenadier beast and a stange Undead Troll thing.

Slaaneshi Loot

Rather a nice warband here with a Moorcock cover art champion, 4 old Daemonettes and an excellent Chaos Sorceror, probably end up based for 40k.

Awesome foot knights, cool wizard and a Lute Hero (which I reckon would make an excellent mod for Guitar Hero). Irritatingly the guy with a hammer would make such an awesome general I might have t start that Perry/Warlord Empire army I've been wittering on about since joining.......

Halfling Loot

These and the Ogres will mae an excellent Halfling Warband for Mordheim along with my Hot Pot crew and some Archers I picked up for my Brettonians

Finally the doggy bag

Warhounds are just generally useful and the 3 Grenadier sculpts are still available

All in all enough to keep me painting and rejuvenate my interest in 28mm fantasy.
