Well if iy is a better list and means no proxies bar the nightsythes then it is kinda a no brainer.

Up to you really, if I was making a list for the crons I would play on the IBB to make sure your army has a better chance of survival.

not strictly, theres just alot of nice Terrain, so ....

There is a considerable amount of terrain. More than would normally be at a tournament.

There are buildings and rocks that BLOS on some tables but there is a lot of variance between tables.

If that is what you're talking about

We end up with a ton of Urban City tables, but, like i said, the terrain is really good, so they all look awesome

Lots of ruins, so, get familiar with their rules xD

The terrain depends on how much I wish to put down lol I try to give the tables a realistic feel and some cover so people can advance on each other and not get nuked

But thinks can be changed lol

Ill have to pop down and have a look, I'm just used to quite a bit of LOS and its hard to gauge how well a list will do without knowing what the terrain has to offer.

Like, is a Landraider getting a coversave? Or could it be hidden from certain angles?

I'm not after like Storm Raven LOS blocking, lol

Surely the point of a tournament list is to write an army list which could encounter any situation and come out on the winning side? It's hardly a test of your army if you know in advance how much cover there will be, how many vantage points, etc... running my wolf list (which is now Ratwolf's also ) I have many transports which I'd prefer couldnt be spotted by their heavy weapons and would yet have a clear path to ride to their deployment zone, and yet I have long fangs which I'd prefer had LOS and vantage points in my deployment zone, but were I to completely rely on the setup of terrain to win then I'd be a fool. Why write a list which can only win in a certain set of parameters?

I think you're missing the spirit of 40k tournaments somewhat
