Those paladin's are nice, do they only come with Close combat weapons?

Of course they release those paladins three weeks after I make an order of destroyer/rippers.

The shield arms are really cool. I also really like the alien eggs. They'd work great for seed-form Shasvastii.

You know what...good point.

I didn't actually look at the PW model as an alternative for the "wyvern", and, yep, it does make a lot more sense.

Ha! That's why it felt familiar. That was an awesome show.

Is it supposed to be orky? Or a human craft. Not sure it fits their current human aesthetics.

It seems human to me... If it is orky (or even the basis for and orky conversion) I hope it comes with an open cockpit, because their pilots are awesome.

With the taurox, it is hard to tell

Thanks for the review! I didn't watch the entire video as I have to leave the house in a second but I take it that everything turned out good? From what I could see there were very few casting issues, nice to see that they have picked up their game once more.

Cant wait to see you 40K'ify those guys!

Yes, everything was well cast. There were very few casting defects among all those pieces. And none that ruined a whole piece. Compared to my last orders with PW this order is vastly improved.

Good to hear, SickSix. Now if they can show some consistancy in this, I might even dig my last order out of wherever it got thrown, and maybe even dare to order from them again. What was your turnaround time?

Wish I could say the same about my order air bubbles miscasts they really dropped the ball on this one, probably the last order they will get from me as most of my money will be going on GS and liquid GS

Well to be fair after further examination most of the heads with air bubbles have been doubled up on my order, so seems that I grabbed a load of extra seconds rather than the better cast ones.
However there is still some miscast pieces on the Brick transporter underside ( which I can live with) and a miscast front on the crow which will need rebuilding, plus the green baron Squadron all the 3 of the plane bodies are riddled with little air bubbles and holes.

So still not too impressed with the quality which is a real shame as the models themselves are great.

That's a real shame as the last few reports suggested they'd improved their quality control,

I guess it's buyer beware with them

Update took some pics and had a look through the rest of my order things did not go well I am afraid

The jetbike is a right off the front intake section is so thin it will just break if handled ( sun shines through it ) the back end right side has a lump missing from it and the other side has a large step.

The front of the heavy bike squads are pretty badly moulded (mould slip) but I was going to convert the fronts anyway so not too bothered, the only thing I don't get is that most of the heads they doubled up on are ok the ones that are really bad I only got the one set of

I will say though the beast hounds were pretty well cast except for the one head and toless foot in the bottom picture, also the dragonfly was well cast ( much to my surprise ) only few small defects that I would expect and easily fixed.

I just don't get why they won't step up there casting capabilities these models are pretty dam good, they are only let down by poor production issues.

Bloody hell, was the person who bagged these and sent them out drunk? Because that's the only reason anyone could think that's an acceptable level of quality.

I think it was a friday order LOL I wont tell you how they were packed

Wow, My "Bricks" were not that bad, a little issues underneath at a couple of tires, but well, those look mighty rushed.

Yes rushed for sure I think they stood at one side of the room and threw the resin at the mould, if you look at the jet bike back end picture then there official picture don't see that massive chunk missing

OR poor QC issues. Those models should never have been packaged!

I am sorry that you have to go through this, and I hope everything is eventually made right for you, but I do appreciate you posting these pics.

You've done it to yourself LDD. Obviously they've seen your thread in P&M and want to see your handiwork in customizing the models. That way they can say they "helped" making a masterpiece.

I see Puppetswar QC is up to its usual standards. No way I will ever purchase from this company again, which is a shame as I like a lot of their sculpts, but the end products have been consistently crap.

For what I'd have to think must be a small operation, it is pretty inexcusable for those pieces to have been sent to you in the first place.

Only a compliment as ever LDD.

Hopefully the quality of the replacements will be better. I had almost exactly the same experience (Same day reply, people on holiday), and when I got the replacement it was not much of an improvement.
