You weren't kidding, and at a fair discount for most of it. The munchkin on amazon ended up at 16something so I skipped, same price for the pound of dice by chessex. The dice were a bigger markdown from MSRP but not enough for me to pull the trigger.

That's an excellent brush, I just received one It was on sale for 90something before the flash sale so it's not a huge deal, but they *can* go for a lot more than that.

Be aware, the MSRP is something like 400 dollars so the replacement parts are a little on the high side.

FFG sale was awesome! Got all this for $105 shipped! Can't wait to try it out, really looks like a lot of fun and the miniatures will be a blast to paint and weather.

Just got word that my FFG shippment finally shipped (10 days after order) The mechs mostly aren't my style, but I picked up 10 of the tenement kits (should have gotten Cerberus for the same price…) and some aircraft for my sci-fi games as well as a couple of card games and a metal Descent miniature. The FFG sale was probably the best deal of the season. I've not seen much that approaches the 65-80% off deals they were offering.

The Darice type storage boxes are very useful. They, or nearly identical boxes are often available for $2 at places like MIchaels, JoAnnes, Hobby Lobby, etc Sometimes called "craft organizers" and sometimes called "bead organizers". There's also a bead organizer available for 3-4 bucks that's the same size but with rounded bottoms in each compartment that makes it really easy to get bits out. The neat thing about them is that they will lay flat in a plastic letter sized file box. Something like this.
http://www.staples.com/Staples-Handy-File-Box-with-Organizer-Top-Black/product_757448?
You can usually stack 5 or 6 of them in there.

There are also half-size, half-height versions of the bead boxes for bits you don't want to bury quite so deeply. I've used this method to sort my bits for years now. I've got about 4 full size and 4 smaller size and they all fit in the 1 File box. With different theme bits in different bead boxes. It's a great way to be able to bring out a selection of bits on the table without doing alot of digging.

Wait, the core set was in the sale too? Awww nuts! Between that and the Operation Cerberus box, I really missed a trick with my hasty FFG order :(

Oh well, I shall have to console myself with my 6 SSU helicopters. How do you say "Get to the choppa" in Russian?

Yeah, it was marked at $40. Well worth it! Everything being marked down so much sold us on the game. We were hesitant with the original prices.

I think they added the starter in later, because I did not see it when I made my orders.

Still, got 6 Operation Cerberus sets and a large SSU army (including 4 helicopters), so I am pretty happy...

the revised core wasn't part of the sale. you had to navigate through FFG's website and look up Dust as opposed to clicking on the link at the start of this thread. I believe it was $40.00 not as deeply discounted as all the other Dust items but still a little off Suggested Retail Price

On a side note I just got my FFG Dust Order in which included my first pre painted Dust Premium Models and I got to say they are rather nicely done. kind of wish I picked up some more pre painted models

oh well maybe the'll be on sale again next year. Dose anyone know of any other annual liquidation sale FFG has? I kind of remember a spring sale once perhaps an Easter Sale.

Sure!

Here's the Darice17 sized box that has the curved bottoms. Really makes it easy to get the bits out. only $3!
http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/clear-curved-compartment-storage-box-231100/

It's not the exact one I have, but here's an example of a smaller sized boxes. This one will fit 3 in the same footprint as Darice17.
http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/plastic-box-with-6-compartments-406157/

I'm pretty sure this is the smaller one I have. 2 will fit side by side and take up about the same foot print as the larger box. It also has the rounded bottoms and lower height.

Warstore had most of their Dust stuff half off, but I don't know if it's still on.
Apparently FFG is losing the distribution rights. Battlefront is taking over and all the units should transfer over, but unless they have a ton of old stock, I don't think FFG will have Dust this time next year.

I have a couple of those gadgets and gizmos boxen. I can't remember but I think they were just two bucks in the store the last time I was there.

Not as solid or secure as various tackleboxen, but a fair bit cheaper and good enough as far as I'm concerned.

From what I read, however, Battlefront will not be taking possession of all the boxes branded FFG. So FFG will either dump the stock next year or sell for pennies on the dollar to someone like Miniature Market (which they also did for all Rackham stock)

That is correct. I probably read the same wording that said that FFG will be selling off all they had. Either way, I don't think FFG will have Dust this time next year. I will be watching to see what sales come in the future from FFG or whomever buys the stock. There are a couple of units I didn't get that could be cool additions to my sci-fi games.

Thanks for the info about Rackham. I was wondering how Miniature Market ended up with so much AT43 and Confrontation. Didn't Warstore also have a big surplus supply for a while also?

This would be "transfer up to the helicopter"
Ordering someone to get to a helicopter would be <<пошёл (or пойди) в вертолет!>> Pronounced "Pashol vertolet!" Any russians feel free to correct me.

Yup, but Minimarket literally made offers via distributors to buy back all stock. They also bought a pallet, twice, from Ludikbazaar in Europe (who had bought all remaining items in distribution in Europe) to restock. Which is why over the last two years MM has had two major restocks. However, from what I understand, all the remaining sources of AT43/CaoR are dried up.

Good to know. For some reason I'm fascinated by tidbits like these about how the business works. That would also explain why the selection seems to be dwindling.

I do still hope to find batches of NewOldStock AT43 at shows and such. I buy any unit box I can find for $10 or less if it has a shipping container in it. Then I sell the fig and usually get at least half my money back. I've only got 6 or so shipping containers, but I hope to grow that over time. Someone really needs to buy the tooling for that container and sell it again. They'd make quite a bit of $.

Rackham-E owed their creditors, and plastics/painting factories, millions of Euros. Last I heard, Paulo was offered to buy the steel molds for a small percentage, but it was still hundreds of thousands of euro. That was a last resort, and the steel molds were rusting, and were most likely sold as scrap metal. AT-43 would need to be resculpted - everything that exists in the world today is all that there ever will be.

I've seen a few random ebay sellers post like 50 sets of Bane goliaths or something - obviously a big crate of them found somewhere in a warehouse. That's about it nowadays.

I own like 50 or more of those containers, but I also started playing AT-43 since it first came out
