Recently, a fair number of users have received some PM spam. Dakka is not branching out into Nigerian cocoa farming (this year anyway), and the abusive user responsible has been banned. Changes to the PM system will be coming shortly to prevent this from being able to happen again and apologies to anyone who got the PM.

(1)to provide a bank account where this money will be transferred to.

(2)to serve as the guardian of these fund,since I am a boy of 22 years old.

(3)to make arrangement for me in your country to continue my educational Career and to procure me a residential permit in your country.

So, chew on that for a second. This scam is one of their MOST IMPORTANT EXPORTS.

This is a country so totally pitiable that one of its most productive export is TRANSPARENT DECEPTION.

Because it's literally amazing to think about how prominent the 419 scam is in Nigerian economy. If you choose to get defensive about it, that's your call.

I don't it's inaccurate to say that Nigeria is a pitiable country. You seem to think I'm demonizing them, suggesting they're "scum." Generally pity isn't directed those one views as evil.

Lucky for you most people don't judge nations by the actions of their scum.

After all, the US is, among many positive and negative traits, the worlds largest donor of foreign aid. The fact that the American flag immediately makes you think of scum, as opposed to the positive things America does, suggest that your perspective has a negative bias.

Plus, I'm not judging Nigeria on the "actions of their scum." When the "action of their scum" are one of the primary sources of income to the nation, that isn't just a commentary on the "scum" but on the lack of other sources of income, scummy or otherwise, and thus the unfortunate state of their entire nation.

Ultimately I find hating on the US to be infantile and unprofitable. We all want the best for the world. To spend time crafting cartoonish and inaccurate carricatures of the most powerful nation in the world isn't a path to that goal, it's just haterism.
