The only thing I'm guessing is as this is another limited edition version that they'll eventually publish all the other stories in various other anthologies and the new one will appear there.

Pretty sure all these will eventually appear in a numbered novel so not really my thing. I have way too many heresy doubles from buying limited edition novellas as it stands.

On the subject of Black Library events, the plan *IS* to hold them again, and if not this year then next year. Apparently it's something to do with getting the venue for the time they want and that isn't too close to events like the Heresy Weekender.
So that's that. My fingers are warmed up and ready to get back onto my current project, Iron Hands: The Eye of Medusa. This was also announced at Warhammer Fest so I no longer have to be so cagey about talking about it. It's going to be the first of a trilogy looking at the rise of the Iron Hands Chapter Master, Kardan Stronos. Hopefully a stupidly popular series of novels (fingers crossed) will lead to him getting a miniature one day, but in the meantime, whet your appetite with a little more info here

Huh, seems like they've decided they're not done reaming the corpse of the Iron Hands afterall, now we get to read about how MechaMessiah teaches the emotionless Robo-Vulcans about love in excruciating three-novel detail...

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal |

I'd be happier if they did the whole Tallarn thing in a single book, but that's probably just me.
That said though, some of the stories from this arc are quite good.

The last picture with Corax leaping from the dropship (Stormbird?) is interesting- there appears to be a Thousand Son shooting an Alpha Legionary below the Raven Guard- a loyalist Son perhaps?

I think they're all against the Raven Guard, the Thousand Son is shooting at Corax while he's shooting the Alpha Legionnaire himself.

That is what I thought at first, but all the angles are wrong- the Son's bolter is aimed to low, and Corax's pistol appears to be aimed too high, over the head of the Alpha Legionary at someone behind. It could just be that the artist cooked the angles a bit, but it does appear that the Thousand Son is not shooting the Raven Guard, but the traitors. Probably going to have to wait for the book to find out though.

Am I the only one who thinks that Sanguinius and Corax look a little bit... too similar? I mean, I get that they're genetically-modified 'brothers', but I'm seriously getting uncomfortable the more I look at their faces.
Also, is the version of 'The Either' coming in July just a hardback version of the audio drama?

Sanguinius has the most awful hair. I like the pose though. I have a Conan figure which I think the artist might have had a look at before starting Sanguinius. It's a great figure, it's based on Conan after he claims the crown of aqulina and finds out the fighting for the crown s what he loves and sitting on the throne is boring beyond words. I think something similar is being attempted here.

WE uniform was white armour with blue pauldrons; but there were variations. the WE on the cover still has white arms, crotch armour and backpack. It's probably a stylistic choice.

I've heard some say that many at BL/ GW really do NOT like Abnett's LEGION, and it sure does seem as if everything Alpha Legion related since then has been...well...in my opinion...not so great?
Maybe in their rush to undo Dan's stuff, they should instead just take a deep breath, step back and...figure out something better, vs....this?
Still, all just rumor and speculation, so who knows?
Maybe the Legion will still be the ones to lower the shields on the Vengeful Spirit after all?
