Anyone planning on running him and his entourage in Apoc? What model will you use for Angron?

What are the stats like?

The sort of stats you'd expect from a bloodthirster plus he causes instant death with his sword.

The big gnarly Demon model from Ultraforge would do nicely. He's not available yet, but a new painted pic on the front page looks pretty slick.

The model I would use would be any one of the band members of GWAR. Just pic one. In costume, they would be perfect. Just make sure oyu have a really strong table to hold the weight of all that carved foam.

I'd convert a Bloodthirster model to have an even bigger sword or some lame thing like that. Say, remember in the 3rd edition CSM dex #2 there were the Books of the Gods? The Book of Khorne had a slighty aztec-looking guy with a huge jagged sword. It might have been Angron, but it was probably Khorne.

Well, back in Epic 2nd Edition (aka Space Marine/Titan Legions) They had a model of the big 4 Daemon Primarchs and Angron looked like this:



So, I'd definitely be starting off of a biggerized Bloodthirster.

I have the old Netherlord figure from Heresy Miniatures that I'm going to convert and use as Angron, although that demon from Ultraforge doesn't look bad either.

Is there stats for Fulgrim yet, I'd so take him in my Apocalypse Emperors Children Army if there is!

I'd love to see Custodes stats,Horus stats and the big man himself. Have yourself a fun battle for the Vengeful Spirit.

I liked Angron's bodyguard of 2-12 bloodthirsters. Definitely not for the casual game.

QFT Boss... marketing putzes probably did a 20 question poll on a 1-5 scale of random kindergarteners about which name is more angry sounding, had their interns collate the results, and took the day off to go golfing. I loathe TFG

As far as what model I'm using him goes. I'm currently scratch building my own version of myself, a 10 inch behemoth made of greenstuff, pvs pipe, and plasticard. He'll be wielding two axes.... one daemonic and one a chainaxe, and will look very similiar to kharn.... although he'll have russel crowes helmet from gladiator as opposed to the bunny ears. He's also not going to be daemonic at all... just a giant, blood thirsty killing machine. The model is also going to represent angron, and 2-10 bloodthirsters... as I do not like the fact that he is so puny statwise.... and he's 10 inches tall.
