Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

The story behind this one is a Tzeentchian Demon Prince (formerly a Space Marine Lord), whose love of battle is matched only by the maliciousness of his scheming. Bwaahhaha.

Only two scoring unts. I don't know if IoT is worth it or not. I can have ... around 5 marines for 80 points. So three ten man squads, instead of two. But they look cool. I think the champs need Power Weapons but I don't want to lose them when the Demon shows up. Maybe lose the Demon?

Where are those 1000 Sons? I would be expecting him to attract at least one unit of them.
You could lose a rhino and transport in Landraider style if you want.
Other than flavor, I would lose the little demon unit for a small tac squad that can get left behind to control an objective.
Perhaps a lascannon or the like to keep them busy while they wait. MoT and then you have a built in invulnerable.

Any thoughts? I would consider IoK on the second squad. Lose the demon. Power Fist for the 14 man squad (with IoK) and Power Weapon or LC for the Chosen Champ.

Okay a tzeench sorcerer would probably be attracted to your prince. You could lose all the demons for him and not a bad leader for that unit of 1000 sons. <hint,hint>

hmmm, I think the Prince is past the point where he has patience for the machaniations of an Aspiring Sorceror and his pack of rubics. He might find a weasely one to join him, though. That, and I just remembered Tzeentch can cast two powers. Nice.

If would look at pumping up your troop choics a bit.
You need at least one to hold an objective in your area.
You want to keep the sizes of units up to avoid easy kill points.
IoT is tough since it grants you 5+ invulnerable but 4+ cover saves do abound in 5th ed.
How about this
Daemon Prince
MoT, Warptime, Gift of Chaos
Tzeentch Sorcerer - Termi armor, bolt, warptime, wind of chaos, Icon
E1 - love the chosen in the rhino... you can use this to outflank.
E2 - 5 Terminators - IoT, 2 comb-meltas, 2 combi-flamers, hvy flamer and 1 chainfist.
T1 - 7 Thousand sons with Sorcerer with Bolt of Change
T2 - 10 CSM w IoT, 2 flamer, Champ w PW. (Man Tzeentch Icon is pricey!)
T3- 10 Thousand sons with Sorcer with Wind of Chaos
H1 Land Raider
H2 Land Raider
H3 Defiler - TL Las or 1 CCW, or 2 CCW.
Troop 1 holds objectives, Troops 2 & 3 get into the landraiders and bolt acrossthe board. The chosen declare that they are outflanking
The sorcerer and terminators you can deep strike accurately off of any chaos Icon. (And I think you have a number of these floating around. Defiler cuts down on the hoards with it's battlecannon and walks toward some unlucky unit it can pounce on.
I lost the rhino on the troop, the demons and the berzerkers. The termies will fit your theme and serve the same purpose with their 4+ invulnerables (as all the 1000sons have)
When you are facing marines, you will love unloading 10 TSons out of that landraider and rapidfiring them 18 times with AP3 shots and adding a bolt or a wind to boot.
Personnally, I am leary of landraiders at 1750, that is a lot of points in one basket but I am assuming most of this list is what you have available and I understand when you put that kind of money down, you want to play them. I think the sorc and termies will serve you better and easily replace the demons and berzerkers you had in the list.

I think we are about the same.

We may have made our lists at the same time. I might give the six-man squad IoCG, but it is running the risk of the Icon bearer getting killed from wound allocation. Still, it is only 10 points.

I think our lists are about the same. CSM vs Thousand Suns, 5++ Raptors vs Terminators. I like the IoT in close combat, it turns everything into Terminators. Good for hunting tricked out assault squads.
What I will do, is the 14 man squad start it in front of a Land Raider. It walks and Runs the Land Raider follows and shoots, or else just shoots.
I like adding the Sorceror, just for the two Gift of Chaos spells. If I am taking the Sorceror he needs a retinue, hense the Raptors so they replace the Chosen. Otherwise ... no Sorceror, Chosen for Raptors and ... another Land Raider? Or else a squad or Rubrics or another Rhino Berzerker squad.
All in all I think we made a cool list. I thought of bikes, too (for close combat) but they are _way_ too expensive.

I like both mods... think the scheming list is very interesting...
how about winds of chaos on the sorc. That gives you a nasty flamer template on your raptors if you think you need it. Other I would opt for is the AC for the raptors, this is your real dagger unit so between warptime and 5 lightning claws from an Aspiring Champion, you should blow up anything in your way... including terminators. I think you could chew through any orc hoard with that too.
What would be your answer to a demon drop army? Save two squads in the raiders and shoot your way out? Your raptor/sorc might be toast but with him and two meltas I am suspecting a few soulgrinders or a demon lord or 3 will go down before you.

I think eldar and guards will hate you. Potentially 4 spawns per turn. Do they run or stand and fight as their buddy joe in the next foxhole expodes into a spawn.
This would be fun to walk in with your army in a box unseen and then an open box top with like 20 chaos spawn in it. Everyone will think you are a nut.

A LC champ could definately work with the Sorc.
hmm ... never faced demons. Probably hide in cover and shoot. Keep the Zerkers in the LR, and the Raptors behind waiting.
yeees ... the Spawn. Thing with the Spawn, with no armour save they are just giving up free wounds in close combat. No go. :(.
But yeah, the Gift of Chaos gives the Sorcerors a bit of close combat since they can Spawninate. Probably better, if bland, to take Warptime.
