Latest conversion is a and Imperial Guard Veteran Segeant armed with a shotgun.

The shotgun was made from the flamer and part of a heavy bolter ammo belt.

I've posted a how-to page showing the steps to making it: Veteran Sergeant with Shotgun

It looks great. Since he's a seargent and not a normal trooper, he should get the hollywood 'Never runs out of ammo" rule.

i actually like it.
i would remove the piece on top front where
the handle from the other hand would attach.

Thanks... I thought about this, but I've also got 6 Hardened Veterans made with this style of shotgun who use the left flamer arm piece that has the "hand grip"... I should probably do a hand grip in green stuff to make it functional on this model.

That's badass. Nice paint job, too. I'm gonna go look at the how-to thing so I can make myself one o' those.

... because that totally makes sense.

It looks really cool. So cool in fact that I knocked up one with a drum magazine instead of the shells mounted on the side. It's not as neat as yours, and I accidentaly shaved off most of the detail on the gun, but it still looks coolish.
