Ok nothing to get too excited about yet.

This first entry I need your help.

I need to know where I can find Titan Legio colour schemes and background info.

Reason being is a new purchase of a Reaver Titan I have made. I expect the product by end of january as I also order the new Inquisitor and he does not ship till week of january 25th I believe.

I promise pics will be up as soon as I have the kit, and i will do a complete build process with pictures prior to starting the paintjob.

But for now...your help with info please.

Ok plan was changed a little bit, I am now getting 2 titans instead of 1.

1 is an Armorcast reaver (got a steal on eBay) and the other is a Mars Pattern Warhound.



Thats my FW order this week, so it is on its way, I'm also expecting the Armorcast one in any day now.

Pics by next week I hope (I know I'm such a tease )

Oh god no, this isn't all mine. I could use almost all of it...

But I can claim about 350 gbp of this order. I normally drop the mad-money at Games Day, gives me a goal date to save up to.

Order is now in transit, and my Armorcast Reaver is in customs :(

Ok I have received my titans and have started work on them. Up first will be the reaver titan, as it seems simpler and will give me some practice to when i move on to the FW Warhound.







The kit was in shambles when I got it, but now I bet no one can tell what was broken eh?

Next up was a coat of Rust red spray paint to get the thing ready to be painted.





And then I started do the red armour. All the armour will be red, with the exception of the left top of the carapace and the left 'shoulder pad'. Those parts will be done in Yellow and Black hazard stripes.



All trim including the 'axes' will be done in a rustic style gold.

Nice, as a result I think you should do Legio Metalica (Flaming Skulls). Here's the scheme.

Looking good so far except for one thing.
You didn't prime the missile launcher before spraying the reaver red.
From here on out your missile launcher will be lighter than the rest of the model, unless you go back and reprime the missile launcher and then spray it red.

The missile pod was primed black before painting I just didn't put up another pick of it.

Cool! I'd hate for you to repaint.
Although it is weird, cause it looks so much brighter in the pics.

It looks so much brighter because it has been hit with the main red colour (Vallejo Flat Red) where as many other sections will be painted black.

I think thats a trick of the light and its only on the top view. Check the right shoulder (viewers right), it looks pretty bright as well.

Bingo, my lighting isn't great in my room, and due to work I don't see daylight that much, lol.

The Missile, top half of carapace, head, and leg armour has all been done with the brighter red. It will be more apparent after I highlight and glaze it a bit this week.

I also have a big tourney coming up so i have to paint marine things for a little while.

Looking very nice. I look forward to seing more progress here.
