Okay I had an idea for about a year now, and I want some input...

Marauders are nice but pricey... however, with any level bomber, they really should be flying much higher than they do on table top right now (Marauder Destroyer obviously not)

Aeronautica Marauder mounted 2-3 feet from a medium base (say, 6-8'' diorama base) that has a soft 'gray' to it, to represent the shadow, and a flat cut-out to-scale marauder 'shadow' mounted on the rod about the height that most marauder models are normally at (1-2 foot off the ground).

Its 100% GW-Forge World and home-made content, so technical legal. For measuring purposes on guns & hitting, use the shadow. For actual model purposes... "its flying very very high."

A cheap, affective way to get bombers in, and likely any other air-craft.

Would this be acceptable for Apocalypse use if you were my opponent?
Would GW be very upset with me if I ever tried to use it in one of their stores? I mean come on, its WITHIN their standards!

I wouldn't mind, but then again, I'm an anarchist who is chock full of equally outlandish ideas that constantly get shot down or ignored by the vast majority of Dakkaites.

It wouldn't fly at a GW store, or even at Adepticon. You are not using the right models.

That would be like showing up with an Epic Marine army and saying they count as 40k marines.

I play at non GW stores though, just needed to know that.

Most people at my store proxy non GW stuff, hell one guy's army isn't GW at all... I will likely buy it for use there and not with any GW stores
