So, I finally got around to converting my Whirlwinds to Exorcists, I don't like the over-the-topness of the regular exorcist, but the whirlwind isn't over the top enough, so i think i came to a good medium.

It's done with Plasticard and the Back end of cheap pens.
my girlfriend made me a necklace of fleur de lys' and i had 2 extras so i stuck them on.

It's my first real conversion attempt and i have a second one in the works (It's next to the primed one, I just ran out of pens)

sorry for the crappy pictures, i don't have my camera on me that i usually use and my cellphone cam is scratched up, i was just too excited to wait.

thanks to bottbott, kingcracker, and AAA for help and ideas.

Hope you guys dig it.

Exorcists before Bits and primer.

Exorcist after Bits and Primer.

I'll get better pictures when i get a chance.

EDIT:

Ok so i finally got to take better pictures.

The Fleur-de-Lis tells me exactly what it is, even if the conversion didn't!

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Besides looking like they're underwater, that looks to be an ace conversion. Nice work kitbashing! Now let's see some paint and weathering...

Don't sweat the pics though mate, they look as good as or better than some of the pics made with high quality cameras (including my own).

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Nice conversions from what I can see. While I do love the Exorcist, it's...well...gaudy as hell. I haven't purchased one and I don't know if I will for my SoB. I always wanted to make my own conversion as well, something along the lines of an MRLS. Nothing says 'I love you' better than decimating an entire grid square. (a grid square = 1 square kilometer for those who don't know)

Looks cool.

But why, oh why, did you think we would be interested in looking at your dirty paintstation? With the obligatory pots of paint in the background, no less.
Now all we need is a corner of a smudged keyboard and the horror is complete.

Wait untill morning and shoot some nice pictures in a windowsill (natural light) with a piece of blank paper behind it. You might be really happy with the result and want to share it right fragging now but it can wait.

Looks like I'm staring at a tank through an ecstacy-lens.

Anyway, I love the look of the original exorcist, so I have to say that I've never really liked the mounted SCUD launchers that everyone seems to want to do.

Just my opinion though.

Pain is an illusion of the senses, Despair an illusion of the mind.
