I can't decide how I want to paint them! I'm trying to stay away from drybrushing. I really want to get good use out of the inks. Also, I don't know how I want to paint the shirts and pants of my boyz. Please post examples of well-painted boyz with different color shirts and pants!

Thanks so much!

This is a link to some of my Deff Skulls I've been updating recently. The foundation paints and washes have made painting them much easier and gives pretty decent results.

Hope this helps.

I use Catchan Green on black undercoat.
Then three highlights of Catachan Green and Bleached Bone (I made three pots. Each with more Bleached Bone in it).
Final highlight of Goblin Green with a bit of Bleached Bone in it, if I feel like it.

Looks like this.

does it matter to you what tribe they come from? (like goff, bad moons) cos if not then go bloody wild! only thing is dont go for toooo vibrant colours as there orks, and probubly stole it from someone who souled themself from seein a huge green naked thing running at them. but for washes id advist goin slightly brighter than you want initialy then the wash will tone down the colour slightly. (sorry if you knew all this im a bit of a spaz)

i presonaly am tryin to make each ork indevidual and relivivly good on there own, and im havin trouble thinkin of diffrent colours i can use as iv said id try my hardest to keep one bit blach to try make them uniform enough to call a mob.... but oh well, has worked so far but iv only painted something like 15-20....(havent counted cos im plane lazy)

Some Bad Moon style for you

Skin is Gretchin green, followed by one wash of Devlan mud and one wash of Thrakka green.

Here are some of my boyz.

I use a Goblin Green base and wash with Ork Flesh Wash. I know that isn't available any more (I have a good stock pile) but you can get similar results from a wash of Green Ink. I then highlight with Goblin Green and some fine highlights of Leaf Green (from Delta - available at Michaels).

I went with either Brown or Black pants on this unit and shirts that are yellow (since they are Bad Moons) or a dirty white. I can show you some if you are going to be at the Bunker on Monday.
