I was wondering if you had comparison pictures with GW or even Rackham dragons for
size and modeling.
Thanks!

Sorry, I don't have pics. But I have a half dozen of the Dragons.
They vary in size a bit, but on average they are thicker in the body than the highelf dragon, and almost the same length.
Scale is mostly so they fit in the package. If you have everseen the SportPicks figures, packages are identical sized.

link if you didn't find it already.
There is a 2-headed one I plan to use as a Chaos Dragon. He's taller than the plastic GW giant.
There are a few "Deluxe" ones that are much larger. I have the undead one. It is as big as the LOTR Mumak, ignoring wings.
Another I have has a spread wingspan of 18".
Pretty much any of the regular ones will be passable, if a little large for WHFB.
Scour the net if you can't find them in person. I think you will find them worth it.

Oh man, those two-headed ones would look awesome as Chaos Dragons.
Has anyone tried re-painting these? How do the paint jobs look on the actual dragons that are available in stores?

The actual paintjobs are very good. McFarlane doesn't put out things that look really bad.
As soon as I find my memory card I can throw some pics around.

They are painted way better then average warhammer player paints theirs.
but then people complain about the gaps ( poseable joints ) , because adding GS stuff means they have to repaint it .
And people get lazy since they are already nicely pre painted.
Basically you get FW quality dragon for $10 . No assembly required , base included , only minor gap filling needed.
too good!

I guess my problem would be getting them to fit on the Dragon base. Which dragons work
within the Footprint of Warhammer Fantasy?

I've always been a fan of the dual auto cannons on the dreds. The cannons from forgeworld are really nice and they didn't have those huge resin tabs on them like the dreds i ordered did.

I would have to say the scavenger dragon has it is one that is actually flying so you could just stick it on any 40mm base with a flight stand a be good.

another great one would be the Komodo one. Just got off the part with the hero.

I don't remember, are McFarlane toys in regular Toys R Us or are they
a specialty item that can be found in comic shops?

malf, alot of the comic stores should sell the McFarlane stuff, i know 3 in portsmouth do.
also, i think the new dragons got an update to a chariot base rather than large monster base
so that should give more freedom to work with.
