Terminator lord, Mark of Khorne, Combi-Melta, Chainfist, personal Icon
7 Terminators with Combi-Melta, Powerfist, Heavy Flamer, Mark of Khorne, and and Aspiring Champion with Lightning Claws
8 Possessed with Champion
8 Chosen Marines with Flamer, Melta gun, Powerfist, Mark of Khorne and an aspiring Champion with Lightning Claws
3 squads of 8 Lesser Daemons
8 Raptors with Flamer, Meltagun, Mark of Khorne, and an Aspiring Champion with a Powerfist
Land Raider with Havoc Launchers
Vindicator with Possessed and Havoc Launcher
Predator with Auto-Cannon and Heavy Bolter sponsons and a Havoc Launcher



Pats Army: 2000 Points-List Pending.....

Mission is Kill Points and Set-up is Spearhead. Just to tempt fate I hold the majority of my army in reserve to Deepstrike and Out-flank knowing that Pat will probably take the Officer of the Fleet.

I win the roll to deploy but Pat Steals the Initiative!

Top of the First Turn


Pat opens up with everything he has against my armour


And the Land Raider with my Fleeting Possessed gets Snuffed. I put my Shaken Predator into high -gear along the road.

Pat bottle-necks me and takes out my Vindicator. pat just can not stop rolling sixes!


I pour through the gap with the hope of assault next turn. As expected my Reserves are very piece-meal

Pat catches me in a crossfire, The Possessed hang in there but I lose a squad of Lesser Daemons


I lose my Raptors by rolling double sixes on my Deepstrike into an Infantry unit and they Mishap themselves into oblivion. I also finally make some assaults with my Possessed and daemons and overkill an Infantry squad, leaving me exposed.

Top of the Fourth


Pat assaults the Possessed with his Sentinels after reducing them further. A Squad of Lesser Daemons come under heavy fire and is sent back to the Warp


My silly chosen show up on the completely wrong side of the board without even having to re-roll because of the Officer of the Fleet. I Bring in my Terminators with the Lord by using the Possessed icon to home in on and remove an infantry unit from the table.

Top of the Fifth.


Pat losses his Company Command squad to my Daemons but manages to pull back with all of his tanks and other units, leaving me with too few targets for my Terminators


In a last ditch effort I run with my terminators hoping for another turn....

But the game ends on a 2....................Imperial Win!!!!

Wow that was the best spanking I have gotten in while Lesson learned, do not Deepstrike or outflank vs Guard, put everything on the table!! Here are some end of game shots. Note the image of the Chosen sulking and skulking on the wrong side of the table

Okay so for the London to Hawai`i LasShamus Campaign that would be Traitors 3, Loyalists 2 and a draw. Keepin' it close!

Very cool report; well painted armies on a very themed and stunning table. I like the mix of overhead and ground level pics.

Good point about trying to deep strike/outflank. In some cases, it does not look to be a detriment, but when you need to get stuck in, it's a concern. Not having the Terminators from the very beginning was a huge detriment to overcome.

QFT! Also I was struck by how 5th edition is at its silliest when "CHAOS HURR!" goes up against the new Guard

lol hey i liked this report i tend to shy away from browsing through other people's reports normally unless they have pics because im usually killing time building army lists or fine tuning them when im not making my own reports. But this was definetly worth checking out and I loved how you used the cotton to represetn wrecked vehicles it looks really good in the pics.

The Lenin Statue is pure win.

your army gives off a really bloody feel. I love the effect.

Is that.....a bionic Lenin?? I love your terrain, and the painting on the Khorne marines brings back fond memories of the older codecii that made me like Chaos so much. Really, you had some disastrous luck but almost tore out his infantry heart anyway. God job.

It's Lenin updated for 40k ( I lost the arm and Sol made me a bionic one).

ok nice report but im confused how did the first lesser demon squad come on with no icons near by looks like they went by the possed

and am i mistaken or did you not have the 2 troops choices( not sure if lessers count for the 2 as they dont use up the foc slot)

Nice report,where you get the lenin statue from?

Nice battle. I like the scene shown a squad of Terminators and some other Chaos units were surrounded by IG tanks and troops, and also the Lenin statue that shows lenin with a robotic arm and Inqusision mark.

I'm curious, what did the Possessed roll for powers? Furious Charge?

They rolled "Fleet" which at first I was not so impressed with, but it did allow them to plow into the guards lines and start summoning daemons
